Tempest of the Stellar War

“Takumi just laughed, and shook his head, “I’ll just fight normally.”

“You idiot. Haven’t you seen instructor Jiang Feng. Isn’t he your idol? This is such a good opportunity, maybe the instructor will favor you, and even give you some pointers. Or even accept you as a disciple!” Long Ma started to squawk at him, and all sorts of language came out. If he did not lecture him properly, this Jar Jar Mi would definitely smack his opponent to death, and that would be a waste of such a good opportunity.

“Snow, will Wang Zheng really win?” Ai Xiaolu smiled, her eyes filled with excitement. She had to say that her family was supportive of what had caught her eye, and she liked to invest, especially in people. That included the men in the future, no matter if they were naturally occurring or nurtured.

Snow Li pinched Ai Xiaolu’s face, “You little scamp, don’t steal away my man.”

Ai Xiaolu winked, “At worst it is two women serving one husband. You be the main wife, I’ll be the mistress, I don’t really mind.”

“What if I be the third wife?” De Fulei had also joined in the squad.

Mo Ling and Ling Luoyu had also arrived. They had seen instructor Jiang Feng coming over, hence had also decided to come, but they had not expected to see Wang Zheng. When they saw the ruler of Zhuque and Olivios, both of them were flabbergasted. Even since that incident, Ling Luoyu had almost forgotten about Wang Zheng, and had already insisted on her own ‘ideals’, believing that Wang Zheng definitely ‘did not suit’ her. Even if Wang Zheng had the ability, he was after all an Earthling and would at most be a noveau riche. No matter financially or strength, he was still lacking, why would there be happiness when together with such a person? It was absolutely unimaginable.

Although Snow Li seemed to be interested in Wang Zheng, but Ling Luoyu still felt that he could not be compared to Roland Garros. The gathering here represented humanity’s greatest cultures and talents, while Roland Garros himself represented humanity.

There was no doubt that there were quite a few girls that had the same thoughts as Ling Luoyu. While appeared demure on the outside, they were all thinking up plans to obtain the interest of the Roland League.

Takumi made the first choice, choosing the “Hercules” mech of the Big Bear Federation. This was called Hercules when translated into the common language, and was not the one that was produced by OMG back on Earth. The Hercules of the Big Bear Federation was a high-level fighter mech, and was also the main product of the Big Bear Federation AF Company, a humanoid mecha.

Wang Zheng was also in the midst of choosing. He had heard of the opponent’s mecha, which was a pretty interesting self-reloading mecha.

Wang Zheng took quite a bit more time to choose, causing the others who were waiting to be rather dissatisfied. Mo Ling and the rest were obviously thinking that Wang Zheng was under a great deal of pressure, and had difficulty making his choice.

Takumi had quite the reputation in the Black Tortoise Region, and such a mech with its high defensive ability was enough to cause others to be discouraged. Wang Zheng really needed to choose a suitable mech to overcome this difficulty.

“Phantom King!”

“I’m afraid only the Phantom King would be able to restrain such a monster.”

Snow Li said. Facing such a defensive monster, a direct assault would be nearly impossible. With Takumi’s defensive abilities, it would be rather hard for the Golden Wheel Battle King to penetrate it. The Golden Wheel Battle King was more suitable for a battlefield, while the Phantom King was the champion of a one on one battle.

Wang Zheng’s mech was finally selected – Hercules.

A common mecha that was mass produced by OMG on Earth. In addition, these mech had a very unique selling point. Other than the regular equipment, the mech was also equipped with a good quality shovel.

When Wang Zheng chose Hercules, the entire audience was filled with a strange feeling. Other than Olivios who had not much of a reaction, both Hocatolin and Jiang Feng showed a mocking expression.

Accurately speaking, no one present had heard of this mech. OMG’s main push was only on the low-end market, and it did not have any special characters like the Wind God. The Hercules was sold as part of a small market within the Solar system and its surrounding stars, as well as for a few private firms. However, on the scale of the Milky Way, it was completely inconsequential, hence most of the audience who saw it knew that it was a low-tier mech, and its name was Hercules.

However, the thing that made Olivios pay attention to Wang Zheng was not due to the Golden Wheel Battle King, nor was it the Phantom King. It was in fact Hercules!

Using Hercules, it could not be said that Wang Zheng was not treating it seriously. In fact, the opposite was true.

Long Ma was stunned for a moment. Was this guy’s brain filled with mush? What could he do with that piece of scrap?

At least ten over of Black Tortoise’s Xuan Class 1 mates had also arrived, and they were all dumbfounded. Such a ‘weird’ confrontation had attracted so many others that would normally not be here.

“The Earthlings are really vain.” This was the only thought of Ling Luoyu.

The two mech faced each other, igniting their engines.

Takumi’s mech pulled out its beam saber. In fact, his mech towered over Wang Zheng’s by more than a head. This was also one of the sticking points for OMG, as their blueprint for Hercules was derived from the original Hercules. Although they were using the same name, only the top-tier mecha in the Milky Way would actually be given such a name.

It was thought that Wang Zheng would make the first move, but it was Takumi’s Hercules that started his offensive.

Although it was considered to be a heavy mech, there was no cumbersome movement when Takumi piloted it. In fact, for most countries, there would be no issues in the movement of heavy mecha. Although the Big Bear Federation was not a top tier superpower, but they were still one of the top fifty countries within the Milky Way, famous for its heavy armor and pilots.

Takumi’s Hercules rushed forward, the beam saber slashing down. Wang Zheng’s titanium blade violently thrusted forward. Peng~~~

Sparks flew in all direction, and both mecha almost burst into a sizzle at the same time, but Takumi’s beam saber came down from overhead.

A gigantic force pressed downwards, yet at the same instant, Takumi’s Hercules left hand did a sweeping motion.

Boom…

Wang Zheng’s mech was forced onto one knee by blocking the beam saber. Immediately after he collided with the fist, and was flung away into the distance.

Comparing pure momentum, Wang Zheng’s Hercules was unable to match up to his opponent, but it was obvious that the giant lunk of metal was not one bit cumbersome.

Takumi’s mech started charging forward like a meteorite, chasing after Wang Zheng, and quickly followed up with a swift kick. There was simply no way to avoid!

Boom…

Wang Zheng’s Hercules flew like a ball, and crashed into the energy wall.

This was the standard of Black Tortoise’s experts. They did not only know how to defend, and others would be idiots to believe that that was the case. Although they did major in defense, their defense was still with the ultimate goal of attacking.

“Wang Zheng, I won’t take advantage of you, so I won’t use the energy shield. Show me your true strength, I wish to experience it!” Takumi said sincerely, seemingly realizing something.

Wang Zheng was stunned for a moment, and the Hercules bounced back on its feet. After receiving the attack, he could somewhat sense the limits of the opponent’s offense. But after listening to him, it seems that Takumi had also noticed something.

At this time, Takumi’s Hercules actually took a defensive posture.

Long Ma was shocked, and thousands of curses flew past his brain. This idiot was at it again. In the face of this many audience and was still being courteous to his opponent, this was a competition, the opponent was the enemy!

The opposing side Wang Zheng also felt a little embarrassed. He was used to weighing his opponent’s strengths and analyzing the situation first, and at the same time learning about the performance of the combat mech. It was true that actual combat was the best way to obtain the knowledge required. This was especially true if the opponent was stronger than him, allowing him to learn many things from the match.

The opponent’s defensive stance was nearly flawless. Wang Zheng’s titanium blade shifted into a counter-grip position, the short-legged Hercules looked like a tiger baring its fangs.

Peng…

A loud explosion went off, and Wang Zheng’s Hercules charged forth towards the waiting Takumi. The titanium blade slashed forward, leaving a cold trail in the air that was as beautiful as the aurora, while Takumi’ beam saber also rose at full force. Whoosh…

A dark shadow passed by right behind the titanium knife of Hercules, slashing at Takumi. The counter-grip was something that was rarely seen, and although it looked like he was frantically slashing away, the truth was that the offense was proceeding smoothly. However, Takumi’s defense was still unyielding, his beam saber sealing off all the possible avenues of attack.

Initially, there were still spectators that were mocking the match. It was not only towards Wang Zheng, but also Takumi, who was being suppressed by such a messy attack. It could only be said the Black Tortoise Region had indeed rotted away.

However, watching the expressions of Jiang Feng and the rest, they had also realized that something wasn’t quite right.

Wang Zheng’s Hercules was essentially only moving in the millimeters, and was only using direct attacks, while Takumi’s heavy mech also wasn’t motionless, but was instead constantly changing his position to alleviate the impact of Hercules. Although it was a high-speed attack, it instead seemed as though each blow was actually a heavy one.

“Teacher Jiang Feng, being able to use the counter-grip for a strong assault, this guy is indeed rather weird.” Hocatolin said faintly, “Are you very optimistic about him?”

Jiang Feng was not aware of the history of Wang Zheng and the Aslan’s royal family, and smiled a little. “This kid is really different. You’ll know it when you see.”

Wang Zheng was indeed excited. It was rare that he met someone who could withstand his onslaught. Other than allowing him to fight to his fullest, it would also allow him to test out his accumulated knowledge in practice.

A beam saber slashed through the air in an instant, and the blade dance was emitting a cold light in all directions. Takumi’s expression was serious, as the beam saber was pulled back forcibly to its original position. He bitterly defended his original spot, and as soon as the beam saber parried an attack, it seemed as though an invisible force would cause it to explode!

The heavy Hercules seemed as if it had lost its weight and flew directly outwards, while the beam saber’s energy had wavered for a moment. However, Wang Zheng’s titanium blade had already shattered into pieces.

Wang Zheng himself also was at a loss for words. It seemed that while his strength was still increasing, Hercules was still able to withstand the pressure, but the titanium blade had instead buckled under the clash. The reason that the other Hercules was using a beam saber was precisely because losing the titanium blade was far too detrimental. Fortunately, Hercules had other equipment installed.

Although the titanium blade had been destroyed, but the results of the clash had been decent. Wang Zheng also did not feel any activation of ability X. With the strength of his physique, the opponent may have had to slow down a little. However, the heavy mech which had been sent flying was now standing without a problem.

At this moment, Takumi did a very strange action. He kept his beam saber, and the mech’s arms suddenly shook and opened up, just like a giant bear.
