Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1777: The Manifestation of True Devil: Part-2

BAM!!

A concentrated crimson energy beam erupted from the muzzle, tearing through the chamber with enough force to vaporise reinforced alloy.

At almost the exact same instant, Commander 10 clenched his fingers.

A strange Eclipse weapon instantly materialised within his grasp.

Without hesitation…

He threw a single punch.

BOOM!!!

The Eclipse weapon collided head-on with the incoming energy beam.

The compressed energy violently exploded into countless crimson fragments, filling the chamber with a storm of blazing red particles and distorted shockwaves.

The impact forced Commander 6 to slide a single step backwards.

Then…

Within the cloud of exploding crimson particles…

Commander 10 suddenly appeared right in front of him.

His visor reflected the strange weapon in Commander 10’s hand.

A weapon…

Unlike anything Commander 6 had ever seen him wield before.

TANG!!!

The wicked crescent edge of the Eclipse weapon trembled violently as it barely missed severing Commander 6’s head. Although the blade failed to kill him, the sheer force behind the strike launched his entire body across the chamber before he crashed heavily into the wall, leaving a spiderweb of cracks spreading across its metallic surface.

Commander 6’s mech-suit immediately initiated emergency recalibration. Countless diagnostic windows flooded his visor as the onboard combat AI desperately analysed the abnormal situation, attempting to identify why Commander 10 had suddenly turned hostile. Warning indicators flashed across his vision, but before the system could finish processing the data, Commander 10 had already crossed the distance between them.

There wasn’t even enough time to stand.

Holding the Eclipse weapon firmly in one hand, Commander 10 drove the slotted ring around its grip forward like a reinforced knuckle weapon and slammed it directly into Commander 6’s visor.

BAM!

The impact snapped Commander 6’s head backwards.

BAM!

A second punch landed before he could recover his balance.

BAM!

The third strike dented the armoured faceplate even further, causing static to briefly flicker across his visor.

BAM!

Another crushing blow followed immediately, forcing his helmet deeper into the alloy wall behind him.

Although the visor didn’t shatter under the relentless assault, every impact deformed the reinforced alloy a little more. Internal shock absorbers struggled to dissipate the force while warning messages rapidly filled his display, notifying him that facial armor integrity was steadily decreasing.

Commander 6 gritted his teeth in frustration.

“STOP THIS NONSENSE, COMMANDER 10–!!”

BAM!!!

The response was another merciless punch.

Realising words were completely useless, Commander 6 clenched his weapon tightly and aimed the muzzle directly between them before pulling the trigger without the slightest hesitation.

BOOM!!

A concentrated particle blast erupted at point-blank range, engulfing both Commanders in a violent explosion. Crimson energy expanded outward like a blooming inferno before scattering into thousands of burning particles that slammed against the surrounding walls.

[Suit Integrity Reduced to 40%]

Commander 6 groaned as he rolled across the floor, one hand instinctively clutching his abdomen. His suit had already sustained significant damage during the battle against the Empire, and enduring an explosion from his own particle weapon had pushed its defensive systems dangerously close to failure.

Breathing heavily, he forced himself back onto his feet and raised both of his weapons toward Commander 10.

Across the smoke-filled chamber, Commander 10 also rose to his feet.

His movements remained calm.

His posture remained steady.

His silence remained completely unchanged.

For some reason, that unnatural silence frightened Commander 6 more than any battle cry ever could. It felt less like facing another soldier and more like standing before an emotionless executioner who had already decided the outcome.

Without wasting another second, Commander 6 activated the weapon’s secondary combat configuration.

A deep mechanical hum echoed throughout the laboratory as enormous amounts of energy surged into the firearm.

The single barrel separated into six rotating muzzles arranged in a perfect circle while magnetic accelerator rings spun around each chamber, compressing blazing crimson particles into devastating ammunition. Energy conduits running along the weapon’s frame glowed brighter and brighter until the entire cannon radiated an intense red light.

“FUCK YOU!!”

Commander 6 roared as he squeezed the trigger.

The six barrels immediately rotated at tremendous speed, transforming the weapon into a rotary particle cannon. An endless barrage of crimson beams erupted from the spinning muzzles, tearing through the chamber with overwhelming suppressive fire as every shot carried enough power to melt reinforced alloy.

Meanwhile, the Eternal Chain bracelet wrapped around Commander 10’s right wrist began glowing with frightening intensity.

The crack running across its silver surface expanded slightly before the bracelet repeatedly bulged and compressed in rapid succession, as though something imprisoned beneath it was desperately struggling to break free. Every pulse caused a faint silver flicker across its surface while invisible pressure distorted the surrounding air.

Commander 10 calmly raised the Eclipse weapon before him.

With a swift twist of his wrist, the wicked crescent blade began spinning at astonishing speed, forming a rotating wall of sharpened steel.

BAM!

The first particle beam struck the spinning blade before ricocheting toward the ceiling.

BAM!

A second beam was deflected into the chamber wall, carving a molten trench several meters long.

BAM!

The third shot slammed into the dimensional portal behind him, vanishing into the swirling spatial vortex without leaving the slightest trace.

Commander 10 continued advancing with unwavering steps, his spinning weapon deflecting every incoming projectile with unbelievable precision. Crimson beams rained across the chamber from every direction.

Commander 6 felt cold sweat running beneath his helmet.

He genuinely couldn’t understand what was happening anymore.

Commander 10 should have been overwhelmed by that barrage.

He should have been forced onto the defensive.

Instead…

He kept walking forward.

Every step brought him closer.

Every deflected beam narrowed the distance between them.

Commander 6 instinctively realised that allowing Commander 10 into close range would mean certain defeat.

His rear thrusters suddenly erupted with brilliant red energy as compressed propulsion units roared to maximum output.

Rather than retreating, he accelerated straight toward Commander 10.

“Take this!”

He shouted as he thrust the rotating particle cannon toward Commander 10’s face, intending to obliterate him with point-blank fire before he could react.

The barrels were less than a meter away when…

STEP!!

Commander 10 vanished.

Commander 6’s pupils instantly contracted.

His targeting system lost its lock.

The radar displayed nothing.

Before his combat AI could calculate Commander 10’s new position, an overwhelming impact slammed into his back.

THUD!!

Commander 10’s kick struck with enough force to launch Commander 6 several meters forward.

Despite losing his balance, Commander 6 reacted on pure combat instinct. He immediately drove his elbow backwards, catching Commander 10 in the chest before spinning around and grabbing the side of his helmet. Using the momentum of his own stumble, he violently slammed Commander 10 onto the floor before lowering the particle cannon toward his face.

Just before he could pull the trigger…

Commander 10 planted one foot firmly against the ground.

SCREEECH!!

The back of his mech-suit scraped violently across the floor, sending a shower of sparks behind him as he slid out of the firing line. The moment he regained his footing, he didn’t pause for even a fraction of a second.

His arm swung forward.

The Eclipse weapon left his hand like a spinning crescent of death.

TANG!!

“ARGH!”

Commander 6 staggered backwards as the spinning blade pierced through the armour protecting his shoulder. Although the wound wasn’t deep enough to cripple him, the razor-sharp edge tore through the reinforced plating and buried itself into his muscle, sending waves of burning pain throughout his arm.

His face turned pale with horror.

Commander 10 had already broken into a full sprint.

His speed continued increasing with every step as the distance between them vanished almost instantly, making it painfully clear that the next attack wasn’t meant to wound.

It was meant to end the fight!

End him!

Commander 6 poured every remaining ounce of strength into both arms, bracing himself as he intercepted Commander 10’s downward strike. The impact sent violent vibrations through his mech-suit, forcing its servos to scream under the overwhelming pressure, but he managed to redirect the Eclipse weapon away from his body.

Seizing the opening, he immediately raised his particle gun and fired directly into Commander 10’s face at point-blank range.

BAM!

The concentrated crimson beam exploded against Commander 10’s helmet, forcing him to stagger several steps backwards as fragments of burning energy scattered across the chamber.

However, the moment his footing stabilised, Commander 10 twisted his body with a sudden, unnatural jerk. Without hesitation, he accelerated forward once again, gripping the Eclipse weapon tightly as its wicked crescent edge aimed straight for Commander 6’s chest.

But before he could reach him.

SHHHNNNG!

A brilliant crimson energy sharp blade made of pure energy erupted from the barrel, extending several feet in an instant.

Commander 6’s arm merely continued following the momentum of his previous defensive movement, sweeping the newly formed blade across the exact path Commander 10 had chosen to charge through.

It resembled a leaf drifting onto the edge of an impossibly sharp sword.

No resistance or struggle.

Only perfect alignment!

CRK-CHUCCKKK!

The humming energy-sharp blade sliced cleanly through Commander 10’s neck.

A clean strike as the trails of red arc flowed beautifully.

The cut was so impossibly smooth that his charging body continued forward for another step before the separation became visible.

Commander 10’s … or Young Aether’s head slipped from his shoulders as though the armour, flesh, and bone had offered no resistance at all.

The severed helmet struck the floor first.

THUD!

!~Ding~!
