Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1629: Second Attack: Part-4

Shh~

A cold breeze slithered through the rusted spear, carrying the scent of burnt metal and blood.

Victor stood motionless after stepping out of the portal.

His cold silver eyes locked onto the tailed metallic figure standing several meters away while his hand slowly released Vesperine’s waist before letting her go.

Victor did not even spare her a glance, even though she was still in a haze from the speed.

His boots scraped against broken stone as he walked toward Sera with slow, controlled steps.

Nor hurry or panic.

Yet every movement carried terrifying pressure, like a volcano barely containing its eruption.

The metallic figure froze.

For the first time since it appeared, the machine experienced something disturbingly similar to fear.

Its body refused to move.

The atmosphere itself had changed.

Vesperine finally regained focus through the haze clouding her mind. Her trembling eyes shifted toward Victor, then toward the metallic figure. Confusion mixed with unease as she slowly approached him.

Victor crouched beside Sera.

His fingers gently brushed against her neck before checking her pulse.

Only unconscious.

A quiet breath escaped his lips.

If he had arrived even a little later...

The thought stopped there.

His eyes slowly lowered toward the bruises around her neck. Deep red marks stained her pale skin, and burned and torn clothes clung to her.

Something inside him snapped violently.

Veins bulged across his neck and arms. His jaw tightened so hard that a faint cracking sound escaped from his teeth.

Vesperine unconsciously stepped back.

Victor removed his torn shirt without speaking and carefully draped it over Sera.

His movements remained controlled, almost gentle, yet the killing intent pouring from him grew denser with every passing second.

Then he extended a healing potion toward Vesperine.

”Use this on her,” he said quietly.

The calmness in his voice felt more terrifying than rage.

Vesperine immediately accepted the potion without arguing. She uncorked the bottle with trembling fingers and carefully fed the liquid to Sera while avoiding Victor’s eyes altogether.

Like a servant obeying an unquestionable order.

Victor rose to his feet.

Now wearing only his black undershirt stretched tightly over his frame, he turned toward the metallic figure again.

Dust drifted around his boots while his pale fingers slowly combed back his white hair.

His eyes carried no emotion anymore.

Only violence.

”Tell me something,” Victor spoke softly.

”When machines break... do they scream too?”

The metallic figure immediately raised both arms into a combat stance. Mechanical plates shifted across its body with sharp clicking sounds while blue energy pulsed beneath the cracks in its armour. Its remaining tail curved defensively behind it like a sharpened blade preparing to strike.

Victor tilted his head slightly.

”Oi... I asked you, Do you prefer dismemberment...” he muttered.

STEP!

The metallic figure’s sensors barely reacted before Victor appeared directly in front of it.

No transition.

No visible movement.

One moment, he stood twenty meters away.

The next, his hand had already crashed against its face.

CRASH!!

Metal screamed violently.

”or complete erasure?”

Victor’s fingers crushed into the visor with monstrous force before slamming the entire metallic figure downward. The ground detonated upon impact as massive cracks spread outward like spiderwebs across the battlefield. Chunks of stone launched into the air while shockwaves blasted dust and debris in every direction.

The metallic figure’s body bounced once before Victor drove it deeper with another impact from his knee.

BOOOOM!!

Its head sank halfway into the crater.

[Alert: Armour Integrity 75% Compromised]

[Alert: Facial Shield Fracturing]

Crack.

Cracks spread violently across the faceless visor while sparks burst from damaged circuits beneath the armour plating.

Victor leaned closer while gripping the machine’s face hard enough to bend steel inward.

”You touched her with these hands?” he asked in a low voice. ”Then maybe I should tear off every limb one by one.”

The metallic figure reacted instantly.

Its tail snapped forward like a spear aimed toward Victor’s skull.

Victor caught it midair and just about snapped it.

Thud!

Its body disappeared from Victor’s grip before reappearing nearly two meters away.

Victor glanced at his empty hand before slowly curling his fingers.

A faint grin appeared on his face.

”Interesting...”

”So even while I’m holding you down...” Victor continued calmly, ”...you can still force spatial displacement. Teleportation? Short-range dimensional shifting? Whatever garbage trick that is...”

His eyes narrowed.

Meanwhile, warning alarms screamed throughout the metallic figure’s internal systems.

Its processors struggled to comprehend what had just happened. Victor had crossed the distance faster than its sensors could track.

No acceleration pattern.

No energy spike.

No movement calculation.

He simply appeared.

Just like it did.

At first, it assumed this man was merely another powerful native lifeform.

But now... after witnessing that speed, that overwhelming physical force, and that impossible pressure suffocating the battlefield, old classified records began resurfacing inside its database.

Its optical sensors narrowed.

White hair.

Tall muscular frame.

Half-obsidian mask concealing part of the face.

Those details aligned perfectly with information extracted from captured dragons during previous interrogations.

Static flickered violently across the machine’s visor before a crimson notification appeared.

[90% Target Match Identified]

[Victor: Ruler of the Pyra Fulgur]

The metallic figure visibly flinched.

Its mechanical tail stiffened while internal systems momentarily froze from the sudden realisation. Hydraulic joints tightened instinctively as combat calculations began recalibrating at maximum speed.

Before it could fully process the situation, Victor’s cold voice echoed through the battlefield.

”If you don’t want to answer...”

Victor slowly rolled his shoulder while stepping forward.

”...then I’ll choose for you.”

His ice blue eyes glowed in pure darkness beneath the obsidian mask.

*Dismemberment.*

The word came out in their own language.

Perfectly spoken.

The metallic figure’s entire body jolted violently.

How did he know their language?

That single moment of hesitation became fatal.

BOOM!!

Victor vanished.

The air exploded where he previously stood while shattered stone launched upward from the force of his acceleration.

The metallic figure’s sensors screamed warnings.

Victor already stood directly in front of it.

BAM!!

His fist slammed deep into the metallic abdomen with terrifying force. The impact bent thick armour inward while shockwaves burst through the machine’s internal frame.

Yet Victor did not stop there.

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

BAM!

Punches rained down relentlessly like artillery fire.

The strikes themselves were not overwhelmingly destructive individually, yet the horrifying part lay elsewhere.

Victor’s movements.

He was not merely punching faster.

He was moving faster between every strike.

His step skill distorted his positioning repeatedly, allowing him to generate explosive momentum from impossible angles. One second, he stood to the left, the next behind it, then directly ahead again. Every punch borrowed force from his hips and his footwork.

The metallic figure tried to counterattack.

Its tail whipped backwards with blinding precision.

Victor sidestepped instantly.

Its armoured elbow crashed toward his skull.

Victor slipped underneath the strike and drove another fist into its ribs hard enough to twist the entire body sideways.

BAM!!

The machine staggered.

Its internal stabilisers overloaded while sparks erupted from damaged circuits. Dents spread rapidly across the once-impenetrable armour.

BAM!!

Another punch crashed into its chest.

CRACK!!

[Alert: Armour System 85% Compromised]

The metallic figure trembled violently upon hearing the warning.

Its armour plates suddenly shifted apart with sharp mechanical sounds. Blue energy pulsed from beneath the fractured suit while glowing lines spread throughout its body like veins of unstable plasma.

The air itself began vibrating.

Victor’s eyes narrowed slightly.

A high-pitched hum echoed across the battlefield as energy rapidly condensed around the machine’s core.

[Activating Flare]

Victor instantly leapt back. He twisted midair before landing several meters away with perfect balance.

The flare of blue light slowly faded.

Victor clicked his tongue once.

”For a second...” he muttered while straightening himself, ”...I thought that scrap suit was actually going to explode.”

Then a wicked grin slowly stretched across his face beneath the obsidian mask.

*Nice try~*

Across the battlefield, the tailed metallic figure steadied itself.

Its fists tightened.

This mission was never supposed to become a direct confrontation.

Its objective was retrieval.

That unknown spear held no recorded information inside their archives.

An anomaly.

The attack on this region had merely been a diversion.

While the world focused elsewhere, Terra’s true objective had always been the spear.

But now everything had spiralled out of control.

A Ruler.

An unknown twin-tailed girl.

Too many variables.

The faceless visor slowly turned toward the rusted spear.

Victor stood there casually, head slightly tilted.

”Arrrgh...”

A distorted growl escaped from the metallic figure. The sound no longer resembled a machine. It sounded feral as if someone was really annoyed beyond!

Its body slowly lowered into a crouching stance.

The shattered mechanical tail stretched stiffly behind it while sparks danced along its damaged joints. Both hands pressed against the cracked ground as its limbs adjusted into a predatory posture resembling a tiger preparing to pounce.

Hydraulic muscles tightened beneath fractured armour plating.

Victor stared at it for a moment before slowly raising his middle finger.

Then he crooked it toward himself.

*Come at me, bitch.*

BOOM!!

The metallic figure launched forward instantly.

The ground shattered beneath its feet while blue energy exploded behind its body like compressed thrusters. Its movement blurred through the battlefield before appearing directly before Victor in less than a second.

Victor already swung his fist.

BAM!!

The punch tore through the air with monstrous force, aimed directly at the faceless visor.

But just before impact, the metallic figure vanished midair.

Victor’s eyes widened slightly.

THUCK!!

Without even turning around, Victor’s arm instantly shot backwards and grabbed something behind him.

An ankle?

The metallic figure’s ankle.

Its surprise lasted only an instant before Victor’s grin widened violently.

*I can smell your fucking bloodlust.*

The metallic figure’s visor flickered erratically.

Before it could react, Victor twisted his waist and swung the entire machine downward with overwhelming force. Muscles across his arms and shoulders bulged violently as he smashed it into the battlefield like a hammer crushing scrap metal.

BAAAAAAM!!!

A crater burst outward while shockwaves blasted debris into the air.

The machine’s body bounced violently against shattered stone before Victor slammed it again without releasing his grip.

CRASH!!

Dust clouds exploded around them.

If Victor still possessed his previous strength, that single slam would have reduced the armor into fragments.

But even now...

Even weakened...

He was still a monster.

[Alert: Armour System 90% Compromised]

The warning blared frantically inside the metallic figure’s systems.

Victor did not give it even a fraction of a second to recover.

His foot came crashing down instantly.

BAM!!

The stomp smashed directly onto the faceless visor.

Then again.

BAM!!

Again.

BAM!!

Again!!

BAM!!

Victor stomped relentlessly with savage force, each impact shaking the battlefield while sparks and fractured metal exploded beneath his boots. His expression twisted into something furious and dangerous, veins bulging along his neck while deep black eyes glowed with violent satisfaction.

The metallic figure desperately attempted to escape.

Yet,

Victor’s attacks never stopped long enough for proper synchronisation.

Every stomp disrupted its systems before activation could complete.

BAM!!

The visor caved inward further.

BAM!!

Its internal frame cracked.

BAM!!

The machine’s body convulsed violently beneath him.

Nearby, Vesperine watched with widened eyes.

At first, she assumed Victor would simply obliterate the machine using overwhelming power. That would have been easy.

Efficient, right?

But this...

This was different.

Victor was dominating it physically.

No grand abilities.

No flashy divine attacks.

Only raw violence.

As if he were proving something through sheer brutality alone.

A dangerous smile slowly spread across Vesperine’s lips.

”So cool...” she whispered softly.

Her eyes sparkled while watching Victor crush the machine beneath his feet like an enraged beast king asserting dominance.

For the first time, she truly understood why monsters, dragons, and empires feared this man.

Even if he was stripped of his power...

Even weakened...

He still stood above everyone else through pure will alone.

Unlike some bastard who uses a pity spear and tricks.

Victor was so much better than that Bastard!!

”That’s how an Emperor should be...” she murmured with a sly smile. ”Cruel... ruthless... merciless...”

A soft laugh escaped her lips.

”Fu~fu~... I like him even more now.”

Meanwhile, the tailed metallic figure struggled desperately beneath Victor’s stomps. Its limbs twitched violently while warning signals flooded every corner of its systems. The visor barely managed to stabilise the impacts hammering against its internal frame repeatedly.

It couldn’t breathe.

Couldn’t move.

Couldn’t escape.

Victor was timing every attack perfectly, denying even the smallest opening for teleportation.

[Alert: Armour System 95% Compromised]

The machine’s optical sensors widened in horror.

Another few hits.

That was all it would take.

Its armour would completely collapse.

Panic surged through its systems for the first time.

It had to act.

Now.

FASTER!!

Victor raised his foot again, grinning wickedly beneath the obsidian mask.

*Come on, Asshole* he snarled while stomping downward again. *Stand up! Heh!*

BAAAM!!

The machine’s head slammed deeper into the crater.

*You were acting really fucking arrogant a few minutes ago, weren’t you?* Victor growled. *Hurting someone weaker than you...*

Another stomp.

BAM!!

*And now look at you.*

BAM!!

*Barely clinging to your pathetic little life...*

Victor leaned down slightly, his smile turning colder.

*Just like humans.*

*Fuck you all.*

One more stomp would finish it completely.

Then suddenly—

CHUUCCKK!!

”Argh!”

Victor’s expression twisted slightly as a sharp metallic object pierced straight through his foot from below. Blood splattered across the cracked battlefield while the remaining fragment of the mechanical tail drilled upward through flesh and muscle.

The broken tail trembled violently like a desperate scorpion stinger, making one final attack before death.

Victor attempted to force his foot downward anyway.

But the tail suddenly pushed upward harder.

CRACK!

The jagged metallic edge tore even deeper through his foot, widening the wound as blood streamed down his ankle.

Using that single opening, the metallic figure instantly activated its skill.

Its body disappeared from beneath him.

Drip...

Drip...

Blood slowly dripped from the hole in Victor’s foot onto the rubble below.

Victor lowered his gaze toward the injury silently. His face remained completely expressionless.

Then he calmly planted the injured foot back onto the ground without care.

*Not bad...* he muttered softly.

A grin slowly spread beneath the obsidian mask.

*But...*

STEP!!

Victor vanished.

Only a distorted afterimage remained where he had stood moments earlier. The ground beneath him exploded outward from sheer acceleration force.

The faceless visor immediately scanned the battlefield frantically. Blue detection lines flickered across the ruined surroundings while targeting systems recalculated repeatedly.

Nothing.

No heat signature.

No movement pattern.

No sound.

The machine’s entire body tensed instinctively.

Then—

CRAAAAACK!!

PTTRRRRRRRRKKKK!!!

A horrific tearing sound echoed throughout the battlefield.

[Alert: Armour System 100% Compromised]

[Suit 005 in Critical Condition]

[Emergency Shutdown in 30 Seconds]

Warning after warning flooded across the visor.

But the person inside no longer paid attention to them.

Because directly behind it stood... Victor.

Holding the severed mechanical tail in one hand.

He had ripped it out completely.

Not just the tail.

Part of the metallic spine was attached to it.

Exposed cables and broken mechanical vertebrae dangled from the torn section while blue electrical streams sparked violently through the open wound in the armour.

The metallic figure froze completely.

How?

How could raw physical strength tear through reinforced combat alloy with bare hands?

Meanwhile, Victor’s gaze slowly lowered toward the torn opening around the figure’s lower back and hip area.

Beneath the shattered armour...

He finally saw it.

A black bodysuit tightly wrapped around a feminine frame, hidden underneath the machinery. Blue electrical light flickered across smooth curves partially exposed beneath the ruined armour plating.

Victor raised an eyebrow slightly.

*Oh?*

His amused voice echoed softly through the battlefield.

*That’s a nice ass.*

His grin widened.

*So you’re a young lady?*

The armoured figure visibly stiffened.

Yet Victor’s eyes remained cold despite the teasing tone.

*It’s a pity,* he continued casually while tossing the severed tail aside, *that you’re about to die in such a brutal way.*

The damaged suit began collapsing apart rapidly. Cracked armour plates loosened while warning lights flickered uncontrollably across the failing systems.

The girl instantly pressed several controls on her wrist device.

VRRRRMMM!!

Space distorted beside her.

A shimmering portal materialised midair.

She immediately tried leaping toward it.

Then a whisper reached her ear.

*Nah~*

Victor suddenly appeared directly in front of the portal like a devil emerging from thin air.

*You die today.*

BAAAAM!!

His kick slammed directly into her lower back.

The impact blasted her downward before she could enter the portal, smashing her cracked visor first into the ground.

Before she could react, Victor already grabbed her arm and twisted it behind her back with savage force.

His boot pressed firmly against her visible ass, pinning her completely against the shattered ground.

CRACK...

CRACKKK...

Sparks exploded from her shoulder joints as the arm bent backwards far beyond normal limits. Mechanical support structures inside the suit began snapping one after another.

”AARRRGHHHH!!”

A genuine scream finally escaped from inside the visor.

Pain?

Real pain!

Victor leaned closer while pulling harder.

*You finally sound human now.*

The girl struggled violently beneath him, but Victor’s grip felt immovable.

Then suddenly—

”VICTOR!! BEHIND YOU!!!”

Vesperine’s scream exploded across the battlefield.

Her widened eyes reflected a streak of blue light descending from the sky at terrifying speed.

Victor’s instincts reacted instantly.

But not fast enough.

CHUUUCCKKK!!!

The sickening sound of flesh being pierced echoed across the battlefield.
