Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1607: MIL-ILF Hunter

One should understand how much Selene was holding back when it comes to Aether’s women... It’s not like she hates them... well, she hates them a little, but it was never to the level of killing.

... Well, maybe just a little, a fleeting urge sharpened by a woman’s instinct, but still she restrains herself, shaping her thoughts into that of a calm and ’understanding’ woman who wants nothing but to support her husband, especially when he was walking through so many shifting phases of his life.

So, as lovingly, willingly as she could manage, she agreed to share him with others, to stand beside him without tearing apart what he chose... but at the same time, she was quietly, carefully trying her best to limit the number of bitches that were getting near him, cutting them off before they could root themselves too deeply.

Even though it was hard...

Still, she tried her best.

Really, she did!

But there was always a limit, you know... even a so-called ’understanding’ woman has a breaking point, a line drawn in silence that should never be crossed.

According to Aether, Emberlyn was nothing more than his mother-in-law... No, not an assumption, that bastard had said it himself.

Yet...

Selene stood there, her dark void eyes fixed, unblinking, staring at the trembling, blushing woman cornered by her husband.

Selene slowly stepped inside the room, the faint echo of her footsteps brushing against the polished floor, as her hands folded over her bosom, fingers resting lightly against her arms, her head tilting just slightly.

Her eyes never left Emberlyn, as if the entire world had narrowed down to that single figure.

”Here I was wondering why it was taking you so long to pick those documents...” Her voice came out smooth, almost gentle, yet... hollow, her cold, dark gaze lowering to the ground where the documents lay scattered, edges crumpled, before she lifted her eyes again.

”Looks like you found something far more interesting to ’Pick up’”

A slow, wicked grin curled across her lips, ”Tell me... do you like it, Bitttccchhh~?”

!!

Goosebumps rippled across Emberlyn’s skin, as if something cold had brushed along her spine, her breath hitching as she instantly stepped back from Aether, fingers fumbling as she gathered the scattered documents, papers slipping, rustling in haste.

”I-I forgot something in the kitchen!!! I need to go, right now!”

Her voice cracked as she turned and bolted.

She vanished in a fraction of a second.

Aether’s eyes widened, genuine shock flickering across his face as he watched Emberlyn run, faster than he had ever seen, so fast that even his gaze lagged behind, only catching the faint blur of her shadow slipping past the doorframe.

’That woman... did she just leave me alone? Just like that?

I was only teasing her, waiting for her to explain herself...

I mean... I held back, didn’t I? I was expecting her to push me away... in fact, this whole situation started because of her mistake.

Not mine.

Definitely not!!’

Aether internally screamed with justification.

Selene remained still, her gaze drifting toward the doorway where Emberlyn had disappeared, her eyes narrowing ever so slightly, a flicker of irritation surfacing before her lips parted.

”Tsk.”

She finally turned her gaze toward her husband, her expression settling into something far more dangerous than anger.

Aether flinched the moment her gaze struck him, as if it pierced straight through bone and thought alike,

”Selene, I can explain—”

”Stop.”

Selene’s voice sliced through him, cold, absolute, leaving no room for breath or excuse, as she stared at his face for several long, suffocating seconds.

Slowly, she pinched the bridge of her nose, lowering her gaze, forcing herself into composure.

’He... he looks different... No... he feels different.’

A faint crease formed between her brows as her thoughts deepened.

She shot a glance.

She studied the length of his hair, strands swaying gently with the breeze... then to his eyes, those ice-blue irises shifting with confusion.

Her gaze dragged lower.

His lips, slightly parted, quivering.

The twitch of his nose.

The tightness in his shoulders.

The faint tremor in his body.

Even the scent that clung to him was familiar, intoxicating!

Everything screamed the same truth.

That was her man.

And yet...

’Then why do I have the urge to fuck that pretty face until he remembers who he belongs to?’

She wondered... truly wondered as if she wanted to devour his face... as if she wanted to press him down, claim him with her pussy, mark him until not even his own reflection could deny her.

Sure, He had always been handsome.

But now... now there was something dangerously alluring about him.

Sharper. Tempting.

And... Provoking?

Now, if he gave even a single glance... women would spread their legs without hesitation.

And fuck his handsome face!

And that thought coiled something tight inside her chest.

Annoyance and possessiveness crowded her thoughts.

A faint flush crept onto her cheeks before she clicked her tongue softly and shook her head, forcing herself back into control.

”Sigh.”

The sound escaped her slowly, laced with irritation, as she stepped closer and pressed a single finger against his chest,

”Care to explain... my beloved husband?”

Aether blinked, caught between confusion and surprise, ”Husband? You believe it’s me?”

Selene’s expression snapped, irritation flashing instantly, ”What the...” she moved closer, invading his space completely.

”It’s not that I believe...”

Her hand pressed harder against his chest.

”You are my fucking husband.”

Her eyes burned into his, unwavering, obsessive.

”Even if you turned into a mosquito, even if you rotted into something unrecognisable...

I would still find you~”

Her lips curved slightly, something unhinged flickering beneath.

”And when I do... I would still drag you back to me.”

[Damn! 100 points for Team Selene!]

Log chimed in, unable to resist.

Aether stood there, stunned for a heartbeat, before instinctively spreading his arms, stepping forward to pull her into an embrace,

”I love you—ouch!”

Before he could complete it, Selene slipped out of his reach, her hand catching his wrist mid-motion, twisting it behind his back and locking him in place with ease.

She leaned in, close enough for her breath to brush against his ear, her voice dropping into a soft, chilling whisper.

”Explain... why did you go after Emberlyn?”

Aether stiffened, a thin sheen of sweat forming instantly, ”I was just teasing her, nothing more—ouch!”

His words broke into a groan as Selene struck him sharply, the sound crisp in the room.

”Teasing?”

”More like you were seducing her... weren’t you?”

Her lips curled slightly near his ear.

”Playing with a lonely, deprived woman...”

”And trying to fill a hole her husband left behind.”

Another drop of sweat slid down his temple, panic creeping in,

”I-I would never do that to my innocent mother-in-law!”

”I am innocent!!”

”...”

Silence fell again.

Heavier this time.

As if even the air around them paused just to judge him.

Selene said nothing.

She didn’t need to.

Aether swallowed, his confidence crumbling under that suffocating quiet,

”Well... maybe not that innocent?”

A weak, awkward laugh slipped out of him.

Selene blankly stared at her husband, her expression flat, almost unreadable, as she clicked her tongue and muttered under her breath,

”MIL-ILF Hunter.”

”??... What?”

Aether’s brows furrowed... clearly unfamiliar with the strange acronym.

Selene offered no explanation.

Instead, a slow smirk curled onto her lips,

”Since my beloved husband loves teasing so much... how about your wife teases you a little~”

Her tongue traced lightly across her lips... seducitvely yet wickedly!

Both were really contracting expressions!

”Wait—”

Before he could react, Aether felt himself pushed back, his body hitting the bed as Selene climbed over him in one smooth motion, her presence pressing down, her expression shifting into something sly and dark.

”Selene... let’s talk first, I have a meeting—”

Before he could finish,

”Ara~Ara~”

She tilted her head, her eyes darkening, something predatory flickering within them.

”Talking?” her voice softened, ”Scared of my teasing, are we?”

Her hands rose to cup her cheeks as she looked down at him, her gaze filled with an unsettling mix of affection and obsession.

”...”

For a fleeting second, Selene almost seemed... composed, mature, as if she were holding everything in place by sheer will.

Aether’s cheeks flushed faintly, colour creeping in—

!!

Selene suddenly stilled.

Her body tensed slightly as she felt the shift beneath her, something hard rise under her ass, her expression freezing for a split second before that wicked grin returned, wider this time.

”Looks like I need to teach your cheating cock a lesson first~”

Her cheeks flushed a deep red, her breathing growing uneven, her eyes swirling with that same void-like intensity, deeper, more consuming.

Gulp...

Aether swallowed hard.

That reaction only made things worse.

He turned on even more!!! Up right!!

Meanwhile, inside the kitchen,

Splash~

Splash~

Emberlyn stood before the sink, repeatedly splashing water onto her face, droplets scattering across the counter and dripping from her chin.

It was as if she were trying to wash away more than just heat.

”W-What have I done?”

Her voice trembled between breaths, words breaking between each splash.

She should have pushed him away.

She should have run.

Instead... she stood there.

And worse... she didn’t want it to stop.

”W-What’s wrong with me?! Arrrh!”

Her hands clenched tightly, water slipping through her fingers as her chest rose and fell rapidly.

She wasn’t that kind of woman.

She wasn’t someone who would ever make a move on her son-in-law.

Only shameless, depraved women would cross such a line.

Not her.

Definitely not her!

”Y-Yes... it must be because of his strange face... yes... that’s it... Yes! Right!”

She forced the words out, trying to convince herself as she slapped her flushed cheeks lightly, the sting grounding her for a moment.

”H-he did something to me... not the other way around... I would never... never do something like that behind my daughters’ back... N-NO!!!”

She splashed water onto her face again, more forcefully this time, as if trying to drown the memory itself.

But still...

Her fingers slowly rose, brushing against her lips.

she could feel the hot breath of his hitting her lips, so warm... so gentle... If Selene came even for a second, they would have felt deeper warm—

”NOOOOOOO!!!”

Splash!

Splash!!!

Her movements turned frantic, water spilling everywhere as she shook her head violently.
