Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1608: I’ll give you your favourite ’cream pie’ later

Gullppp~

Selene’s throat moved as she swallowed, warm and slick, a faint sheen clinging to her lips.

She reached for a napkin, slowly wiping the traces from the corner of her mouth with deliberate care, her eyes half-lidded with lingering satisfaction.

”That should teach you how to control yourself!”

The dark glint in her gaze slowly faded, like a storm withdrawing beyond the horizon. Melting back into the familiar Selene, calm and composed after indulging herself.

A quiet breath escaped her as her shoulders relaxed.

Finally, she had her fill!

Her attention shifted, and she turned her head toward Aether, who lay sprawled across the bed.

He looked... utterly defeated.

Just by her mouth?

Her upper mouth!!

He remained there, like a man who had lost something he could not name.

’H-How?’ Aether’s thoughts trembled.

He knew his body had changed. Adapted. Grown stronger with every encounter.

He could endure for days without rest, push far beyond normal limits, yet...

In just a few hours, he felt hollowed out.

Not just his balls, his soul was sucked out of his body.

There was no way this was possible.

Right?

His gaze slowly dragged toward Selene, who now lay beside him, her expression carrying a quiet, wicked satisfaction. Her lips curled into a playful grin as she watched him struggle, her eyes flickering with amusement at every flicker of confusion crossing his face.

”Fu~Fu~ Nightfire shared a few secrets with me~” she murmured, tilting her head slightly as she gave him a soft, teasing wink.

”...”

Aether stared at her in silence.

’Damn you, Nightfire!!!’

Far away, beyond the distant borders, under a sky stretched wide and merciless,

”Achoo!”

Nightfire sniffed sharply, her nose scrunching as she dragged a half-dead beast across rough ground. Her body ached, her steps heavy, frustration etched across her face as she groaned aloud.

”Just how long are you going to make me work like this... I wannna go hoommmeee~ Aetttheerrr~awweeeee...”

Her voice trailed into a pitiful whine, echoing faintly into the empty distance.

Back in the quiet room, Aether exhaled slowly.

Even if Nightfire had taught Selene something, even if she had picked up some hidden trick, it still didn’t make sense.

There was no way he should feel this drained with just her lips.

Not from something like that.

’Whatever...’

He let the thought fade, too tired to chase it further. His gaze softened as he looked at Selene beside him.

As long as he had this, as long as he had them, nothing else really mattered.

He leaned closer, closing the small distance between them, his lips brushing gently against hers before he spoke,

”Jealous Selene... is dangerously attractive.”

Selene’s eyes widened for a brief moment, caught off guard, before a blush crept across her cheeks.

She quickly shifted closer, pressing herself against his chest as if seeking shelter.

”No... I won’t fall for something that simple!”

Aether let out a soft laugh,

”Hah.. Is that so... then tell me, what kind of trick would actually make you give in?”

He dipped closer, his lips grazing the curve of her ear, teeth brushing lightly against it.

Selene’s body tensed instantly, a shiver running through her as her fingers pressed weakly against him in protest.

”A-Aether... stop that...”

Aether’s lips curved into a slow, knowing smile, his eyes glinting with quiet amusement as he pulled back just enough to look at her flushed face.

”Oh? And where did that bold Selene go... the one who was so eager to teach my cock a lesson?”

Selene turned her head away, unable to meet his gaze, her face burning deeper as her voice faltered, caught between pride and embarrassment.

”S-She already got what she wanted... so she left... for now! Hmph!”

Her small pout only made her look more vulnerable and cute... despite her attempt to appear defiant.

Aether’s gaze lingered on her.

”Sweet~ Now I can teach this naughty pussy~”

Aether’s hand slowly slithered toward her ass, fingers tracing a deliberate path that sent a shiver through her body.

Selene flinched, her breath hitching sharply as her lips parted.

”A~Aether~”

She spread her legs wider, silently inviting him to go further.

Their eyes locked, holding each other in a heated silence.

Selene’s gaze lingered on Aether’s face, that dangerously handsome, intoxicating expression that only made the warmth in her body intensify, spreading deeper, heavier, until it turned into a quiet, aching longing.

”Hmm~”

Their lips crashed together, desperate and hungry, as if both had been craving this exact moment. Aether’s fingers slid upward, brushing over her stomach in slow circles before slipping beneath her skirt with intent.

”Ahmm~”

A soft sound escaped her as her body trembled—

”Y-Your Majesty, you have a visitor.”

Emberlyn’s voice echoed from outside the door, slicing through the romantic hot atmosphere.

Selene’s lips twitched faintly, her brows knitting together as annoyance flickered in her eyes.

’Why does it feel like she did that on purpose?’

Aether forced a weak smile, exhaling softly before raising his voice,

”Let her wait in the guest room. I’ll be there shortly.”

”...”

”Emberlyn?”

”O-Okay!”

Her hurried response faded away.

Aether sighed as he pushed himself up, the bed shifting beneath him. He turned toward Selene, who was very clearly pouting.

Unable to resist, he leaned closer, pressing a gentle kiss against her lips before whispering softly,

”Why the pout? It’s not like I’m running away, right?”

Selene’s lips curved into a faint smirk as she leaned in and returned the kiss,

”Running away?

Is that even an option?

Do you actually think that?”

A soft laugh slipped from her as she rubbed her nose lightly against his, her expression darkening just a little, something deeper flickering beneath her teasing tone.

”So sweet~ You will forever mine~hehe~”

’Oh dear... she’s making me hard again,’ Aether thought, his tongue brushing over his lips instinctively before he forced himself to pull back, shaking his head as if to clear it.

He quickly began changing his clothes... while Selene adjusted herself as well, changing her innerwear just in case.

”So... when are you going to tell me about this invisible charm of yours?” Selene asked, glancing over her shoulder as she continued dressing.

Aether explained the situation while pulling on his clothes.

After he finished both stories and changed clothes,

”You’re a vampire now?” Selene asked in curiosity as she turned to face him more fully.

Aether shrugged, raising a hand and waving it lightly before his face... The black mask appeared on the upper part of his face.

”I’m not sure... the blood is still undergoing mutation...”

”I see... I see...” Selene nodded slowly, absorbing his words before turning back—

And then she froze.

Her eyes landed on him fully this time... that strange, alluring presence he carried before... now even more increased!!

Fuck!

Her cheeks flushed instantly.

”I... I think you should cover your whole face,” she said, lifting a hand to gesture vaguely between her brows.

”If you’re planning to... fuck every woman in the world... I think you’d actually succeed.”

”That much?”

Aether blinked, caught in half-surprise.

Half surprise?

Well... he had been expecting something like this.

Selene nodded with a defeated sigh, her shoulders dropping as her gaze lingered on his face a second longer than necessary, almost as if blaming him for something he had no control over.

Why was he getting even more handsome...?

What a pain!

She felt herself balancing on a thin, dangerous line.

Her impossibly handsome husband...

Or the swarm of bitches who would inevitably stare and drool over him.

”Seriously... this is annoying,” she muttered quietly.

”This won’t end well,” Aether added under his breath, rubbing the back of his neck as if already tired of the future problems waiting for him.

Selene exhaled sharply, her eyes narrowing before she spoke again.

”It’s not just that... seeing you like this is even more... exciting. Like some mysterious, dangerously sexy man every woman would want to tear the mask off just to see who’s beneath it...”

She paused, pressing her fingers against her temple, her expression twisting as if the mere imagination annoyed her.

”Sigh... I can already feel the headache coming. Fuck...”

Her eyes darkened, a faint possessive glint flashing within them.

Right now, the thought alone made her want to tear apart every woman who dared to even think about him.

Selene fell silent for a moment, thinking carefully before her expression shifted slightly.

”Wait... since it’s primordial blood... similar to Empress Mary... then why not hide your face like she does?”

Aether frowned as he weighed the idea before giving a slow nod.

”Not a bad idea... but I don’t want to completely hide everything,” he said thoughtfully. ”Not my whole body... and not fully blur my face either. That feels... excessive.”

He paused, his eyes drifting downward until they landed on his left hand.

The mechanical arm.

Still covered under a carefully crafted illusion.

”Hmm... something like this...” he murmured, ”That could actually work.”

A faint smirk formed on his lips.

****

”Please wait here, Mrs. Vesperine. His Majesty will arrive shortly,” Emberlyn said politely as she placed a cup of tea onto the table.

Vesperine sat with composed elegance, dressed in refined attire, a long flowing skirt paired with a shoulder-cut top that subtly highlighted her figure, the same style she had chosen when meeting Victor alone before.

’So she’s a maid... ah.’

She picked up the teacup and took a slow, measured sip.

”Hmm... it tastes good,” she commented.

Emberlyn smiled softly.

Vesperine tilted her head slightly.

”Say... does he like this too?”

A faint blush crept onto her cheeks, her voice softer than before, as if the question itself surprised her.

”Pardon?” Emberlyn asked, blinking once.

”N-Nothing!”

Vesperine flinched, quickly looking away, her grip tightening slightly on the teacup.

’I-I’m not a simp! Hmph!! HMPH!’

She scolded herself internally, straightening her back as she took another sip, quieter this time, almost defensive.

After a brief silence, she muttered under her breath, barely audible, ”Why would I even ask that...”

Not long after, the door opened.

Victor stepped into the guest room.

Vesperine’s eyes instantly brightened, a spark igniting within them as she leaned forward slightly.

”Mr. Victor—”

[+400—]

Her voice cut off.

Her expression froze.

Even her breath paused for a fraction of a second.

Because her gaze shifted.

And landed on the person beside him.

Selene.

Her arms were wrapped naturally around Victor’s right arm, her body leaning close, her presence intimate and unmistakably possessive.

A soft, affectionate smile rested on her lips as if she belonged exactly where she was.

They walked in together.

And then they sat.

Selene did not take the seat beside him.

She moved without hesitation, settling directly onto his lap as though it were the most natural place for her to be.

Her fingers rested lightly against him, her posture relaxed yet claiming.

Her eyes never left his face.

Completely absorbed in her husband.

Vesperine’s fingers tightened subtly around the teacup, her smile stiffening just a fraction as she watched them.

”...I see,” she murmured quietly.

Emberlyn immediately lowered her face, her cheeks flushing red as something suddenly crossed her mind.

”Husband... did you like it?” Selene asked softly, her arms wrapping around Victor’s neck as she leaned closer, her voice laced with playful curiosity.

”Ahem.”

”Did you enjoy your beloved’s warm body~”

”Cough.”

”So shy~”

”COUGH, COUGH!!!”

Only then did Selene finally turn her head toward the visitor, her eyes lazily drifting over Vesperine from head to toe. Her expression remained completely unbothered before she tilted her head slightly.

”Huh”

As if she had only just noticed her presence.

Veins subtly pulsed on Vesperine’s forehead.

’What do you mean ”Huh?” Bitch! Get the fuck out of his lap! He is mine!!’

Her inner voice screamed violently, yet outwardly, she maintained the image of a calm, composed woman.

Not a single crack showed on her elegant expression.

She lifted the teacup, taking one final sip, slow and controlled, as if grounding herself through it before placing it down.

”Shouldn’t we discuss business, Mr. Victor? JUST US!” she said aloud with a professional tone, as though nothing had disturbed her.

Before Victor could even respond, Selene let out a faint scoff, her lips curling.

”What kind of business requires discussion without his wife present?”

Her arms tightened around him.

Vesperine’s lips twitched faintly, left and right, her composure straining at the edges.

”Bi— ahem... I mean, Mrs. Selene,” she corrected herself quickly, her voice tightening for just a moment before smoothing out again,

”I understand you are deeply in love with your beloved Dragon Emperor, but this is not the time for such... displays. You should be aware of the responsibilities he carries—”

”Ignore her, darling~” Selene murmured, cutting her off without hesitation as she leaned in and pressed her lips against Victor’s.

!!!

Vesperine’s teeth clenched so tightly that the faint grinding sound echoed through the room.

Selene pulled back slowly, a satisfied smirk forming on her lips as she finally rose from his lap.

”Whatever. It’s not like some random bitch could ever steal him from me~” she said casually, brushing her hair back.

She turned slightly, stretching her arms before adding,

”Anyway, darling, I have a meeting with the other Generals. I’ll be going now~ Take care, sweetie~”

Victor, clearly amused by the entire situation, leaned back slightly, matching her energy with ease.

”Take care too, sweetie... I’ll give you your favourite ’cream pie’ later~”

Selene flinched instantly, her confident expression cracking as a blush spread across her cheeks.

”N-Naughty~”

She shifted on her feet, lightly hopping once as if to shake off the embarrassment, before turning to leave.

Just as she reached the door, her gaze flicked toward Emberlyn, her tone dropping slightly colder.

”Old ha— ahem... it’s time for the meeting. At least this time, bring the documents.”

Emberlyn stiffened, her face still flushed as she quickly straightened herself and stepped forward.

”O-Okay... understood!”

”Please don’t be too hard on her, darling... she was just hypnotised by the charm, nothing more,” Victor spoke telepathically, not wanting Emberlyn to carry the weight of his teasing.

”Hmph! We’ll see about that!!” Selene snorted through their connection as she walked away with Emberlyn, the door closing behind them.
