Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1527: Aether Zephyra... The First Supremacy.

Aether stood before the shut door, staring at it as though it might answer him if he waited long enough. A slow sigh escaped his lips as he rubbed the back of his neck.

”The heck was that...” he muttered as his fingertips traced the skin again. There were no punctures, no lingering pain, not even a mark, despite the fact that she had bitten him twice without hesitation.

Anyway, the situation had spiralled out of control far faster than he expected.

”Damn... I really got hot back there,” Aether murmured under his breath, exhaling slowly as he adjusted himself. ”Was that because she sucked my blood... or was it something else entirely?”

He shook his head as if to brush the thought away, buttoning his shirt. His lips curled up wickedly, ’It worked better than I thought’ he thought before weakly and meekly asked loudly,

”D-Did you remember anything, darling?”

”...”

No response came from the other side of the door.

But to Aether, that silence spoke louder than words ever could.

It screamed answers.

Every single thing.

His blood had reached her at last.

Aether’s lips trembled with barely restrained amusement, eyes darkening slightly. ’She is hooked now. Completely. With time, slowly, carefully... I will pull her to my side.’

Yet he forced his expression to twist into something fragile, something wounded. His shoulders slumped as if the weight of rejection had crushed him.

”P-Please...” he said, voice cracking with desperation. ”If you remember anything at all, t-talk to me. O-Otherwise...”

He sniffed exaggeratedly before letting out a pitiful cry, ”Aweee~”

He bolted down the corridor as if terrified and broken.

But as he fled, a soft glow flickered briefly along his back before vanishing as if it had never existed.

Meanwhile, Lia stood frozen before the door, her gaze unfocused, her mind anything but empty.

Her crimson ears twitched sharply as the sound of his retreating footsteps faded into nothingness, leaving the space around her unbearably quiet.

Slowly, almost hesitantly, her fingers lifted. They moved toward her lips, brushing against them as if testing whether the sensation was real.

When she pulled her hand back, her breath hitched.

Her fingers were stained with his blood.... Worse, it was mixed with his saliva, warm and intimate in a way that made her stomach twist.

A violent shiver tore down her spine, sharp enough to make her gasp.

”SHIT!”

She slammed her hand into the ground, the impact echoing as fury twisted her face. Her teeth clenched as disbelief surged through her veins.

”I was kissed... by that asshole?” she snarled, voice shaking with rage and something dangerously close to confusion.

”His blood...” she muttered, curling her fingers into a tight fist. ”There is something in it.”

She inhaled sharply, steadying herself. She was not some weak-blooded woman who lost control over a taste of blood, not a lowly vampire who drowned in instinct.

She carried the Blood of a Primordial Vampire. Power older than empires flowed through her veins. There was no world in which his blood should have reduced her to this state, no reason she should feel disoriented, heated and messy.

”Something is wrong,” she whispered coldly. ”There is something inside that blood.”

Even as she said it, her senses betrayed her. The memory of the taste lingered, sweet and rich, like finely aged wine and... there was something more to it.

”What’s worse...” Lia growled quietly, nails digging into her palm, ”The taste changed.”

Never in her existence had blood altered itself mid-consumption.

It was impossible... And yet, she knew what she had felt.

Her gaze drifted downward, her jaw tightening as she noticed the slick trail between her legs.

Something transparent slid along her thigh.

Her expression hardened instantly.

”Even aroused?” she muttered, lips twitching with a mix of disgust and reluctant shock.

”How absurd.”

Of all beings in existence, it had to be him?

A high-level vampire like her, aroused by nothing more than drinking his blood. The thought alone made her chest burn with humiliation.

”What kind of sick joke is this?” she hissed.

She would rather die than be affected by the man who had stolen her daughter’s heart!

Lia exhaled slowly, forcing control back into her body.

”There must be something wrong with his blood,” she said, voice steady but dangerous. ”Otherwise, I would never fall into something this vile.”

Her fist clenched tighter as resolve hardened within her eyes.

”I need to understand it,” she continued. ”If his blood can cloud my mind, then it is a threat. And if he carries that threat near my daughter...”

Her teeth sank into her nails as she began pacing, thoughts turning sharp and calculating.

”I cannot allow that,” she finished quietly. ”No matter what it takes.”

An idea clicked inside her mind... A slow, dangerous smirk curled across Lia’s lips as her eyes narrowed.

”I know a way...” she murmured softly, a low chuckle slipping from her throat. ”Hehe~”

The sound barely faded before realisation slammed into her like a hammer.

”I FUCKING KISSED HIM!! ARGH!!”

Her scream tore through the chamber, filled with horror and pure, seething anger. The walls echoed her voice back at her, mocking her disbelief.

She kissed him!

That alone made her chest burn.

But what truly shattered her composure was the truth she couldn’t deny, no matter how hard she tried... She kissed him. Not the other way around!

That motherfucker didn’t steal her kiss... She gave it to him!

The thought struck her pride like a mortal wound. Her jaw trembled as her fingers curled violently.

”It’s unforgivable...” she growled, voice cracking between rage and humiliation. ”Absolutely unforgivable.”

”Fuck you!” she shouted, fury flooding her veins as she clenched her fist tightly. ”My kiss belongs to my only daughter!!”

”I need to purify myself,” she hissed coldly!

****

While Lia drowned in fury and confusion, far away from that shattered moment, Aether stepped into the throne room. His pace slowed immediately as his eyes took in the unexpected sight before him.

Kaelen stood at the centre of the rounded table, sleeves rolled slightly, posture rigid with focus. Around him, several Elders sat and stood with serious expressions, quills moving across parchment as they spoke in low, deliberate voices.

Documents were spread across the table, thick with seals and markings.

”What are you doing?” Aether asked calmly as he walked forward, his voice cutting cleanly through the discussion.

The Elders flinched in unison before immediately rising from their seats. They bowed deeply, hands pressed respectfully against their chests.

”Good morning, Lord Aether Zephyra,” they said together, their voices measured and reverent.

Kaelen stiffened slightly before looking up. His expression softened as he met Aether’s gaze, a faint smile touching his lips.

”Good morning, Father,” he said warmly.

”I believe you had a wonderful night”

Aether gave a deadpan expression.

Kaelen chuckled lightly, as if he had already guessed the answer.

”Good timing,” he continued smoothly. ”You arrived at the perfect moment. The new law has just been finalised.”

He gathered the documents neatly and stepped forward, extending them toward Aether.

”Please review it,” Kaelen said. ”And tell us if anything requires revision.”

Aether accepted the stack, humming thoughtfully as his eyes scanned the first page. Then the second.... The contents detailed his position, his authority, the scope of his influence, and the weight of his responsibilities within the Empire’s hierarchy.

”Hmm...” he murmured, eyes narrowing slightly. ”Interesting.”

He looked up slowly, gaze locking onto Kaelen, ”So I hold most of the power?” Aether asked, ”Then what exactly is the point of you being the ruler?”

Before Kaelen could respond, one of the Elders stepped forward, posture firm but respectful.

”Let there be no confusion,” the First Elder declared evenly. ”Emperor Kaelen Darkfang remains the absolute ruler of this Empire and governs all its affairs.”

Another Elder followed immediately, stepping beside him.

”Given your position as Emperor in other Empires, this exclusive authority has been established as a special provision for you, My Lord,” the Second Elder explained. ”It reflects both your influence and your unique standing.”

Aether hummed again, neither pleased nor displeased, as he turned the page.

As he did, the Elders moved forward in sequence.

The First Elder advanced once more.

”By the authority granted under the Covenant of Zephyra,” he proclaimed, ”The Throne and the Council of Elders jointly establish The First Supremacy, a sovereign law bound solely to Lord Aether Zephyra.”

The Second Elder stepped forward beside him.

”When this law is invoked,” he continued, ”it shall be known as Aethern Vox Absolutum. The First Voice that stands above all.”

Aether’s brow lifted slightly as he raised his gaze from the document, his eyes sharpening with quiet interest.

The Third Elder stepped forward.

”Lord Aether Zephyra shall stand beyond all command.”

The Fourth Elder followed without hesitation,

”No law, decree, oath, or divine mandate shall bind him unless he himself grants consent.”

The Fifth Elder advanced next,

”All authority, mortal or divine, shall recognise his precedence upon his presence.”

He paused briefly, allowing the words to settle, before adding with unmistakable finality.

”Thus This law shall stand beyond repeal, amendment, or dissolution. Neither Throne nor Elders, nor any successor, shall hold authority to revoke it, nor shall it pass to any other being. No invocation of Throne Immunity shall bear force against it.

The First Supremacy endures only while bound to Lord Aether Zephyra.”

Then the Fourth Elder added,

”The Throne reigns by the right of the Throne and governs the Empire in full,” he stated. ”But Lord Aether Zephyra does not rule. He stands by right of origin.”

The Third Elder continued, his voice lowering slightly, as if invoking something sacred.

”Should the Throne be corrupted, the ruler’s abadoned, the Empire fractured, or its purpose betrayed, Lord Aether Zephyra alone may invoke his Aethern Vox Absolutum, The First Supremacy.”

The Second Elder spoke next, his expression severe and resolute.

”Upon invocation, he may nullify, suspend, or rewrite any law, hierarchy, rule or authority without exception,” he said gravely.

The First Elder spoke last,

”The First Supremacy shall never be wielded for dominion or conquest,” he declared.

”It exists solely for the preservation of order and the continuation of the Empire.”

All the Elders stepped forward together, their voices rising in unison, proud and unwavering.

”Thus the First Supremacy stands.”

”Thus the Throne is protected.”

”Thus the Empire endures.”

Kaelen moved forward, his posture straight, his expression filled with solemn pride as he spoke.

”He rules the rulesthe Empire is built on,”

Aether raised his eyebrows slightly, staring at the Elders and Kaelen with faint amusement glinting in his eyes.

He tilted his head slowly from left to right, nodding, as though savouring the implication.

”He rules the rules?” Aether repeated, a sly curve forming on his lips. ”I like it.”

The amusement faded just enough as he added calmly, his voice smooth yet edged with warning.

”Then pray the Throne nevergives me a reason to speak.”

A chill spread across the room instantly, crawling along the stone floor and up their spines.

Even the Elders felt it, an unspoken fear tightening their chests as though something ancient had stirred.

For a fleeting moment, Aether seemed different... like for a second they felt they saw Victor?

Without another word, he bit into his fingertip. Blood welled instantly, dark and vivid, as he pressed his bloodied finger onto the document, leaving a clear, unmistakable print.

Aether Zephyra.... The First Supremacy.
