Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey

Chapter 1271: I need information... in exchange for this

When Aether asked for Nightfire’s help, honestly, she was really freaked out, wondering what kind of situation she was about to get herself into. The way he asked had her nerves on edge, making her wonder if he was planning something reckless, something insane.

But... all he asked was for her to gather information about the Succubus Queen in the Succubus territory.

Since he couldn’t just barge in, even if it was his puppet, it would have been impossible for him to not stand out. After all, he wasn’t a succubus, and the moment he walked through their gates the entire place would notice him.

He didn’t want to alert that damn woman. He needed someone who could slip in unseen, blend in naturally, and walk through the territory without raising alarms.

That someone was Nightfire.

After all, Nightfire was a Succubus!

He needed to confirm something that gnawed at his thoughts.

Morgana was definitely not a succubus... even if he couldn’t claim to be absolutely certain, he was ninety-nine percent sure she was something else entirely.

He needed clarity, and that was why he sent Nightfire to deal with this task.

However, Nightfire, when she entered the territory of the succubus... fucking goodness.

The air here was heavy, smoky, a haze that carried an intoxicating scent which wrapped around her body the moment she crossed the border.

It seeped into her lungs, buzzing through her mind, making every nerve hum and every thought grow sluggish.

The fragrance was designed to lower defences, to stir desire, to make anyone who entered feel relaxed and pliable.

Glowing signs burned across the walls, flickering with shameless words written in carnal hunger, flashing promises of pleasure that made the eyes sting and the stomach twist in hunger.

Laughter... high-pitched, sultry, shameless—echoed across the streets.

Women giggled as they pulled stumbling men into their arms, while men, glassy-eyed and trembling, staggered like prey caught in a hunter’s snare.

Each step in this place screamed of lust and danger.

Nightfire inhaled the deep scent and let a faint smile touch her lips, whispering to herself, ”Long time no see...”

”Hey sexy... do you want me to fuck your brains out, darling~” A naked woman emerged from the haze, her body glistening unnaturally.

Dark nipples perked stiffly against the cool air, her crotch crudely patched yet inviting, and her eyes locked on Nightfire with predatory hunger.

Nightfire froze, freaking out inwardly.

’Shit, shit, shit!! They’re hitting on me too?’ Nightfire screamed inside her head, her heart hammering.

Nightfire had never willingly set foot here again after her first time. She was a half-breed, something looked down upon, despised by others, and most of all by her own race. Their words had driven her away, made her live far from these lustful groups.

And now, the moment she returned, the first thing they did was try to drown her in their seductive aura and... their damn aphrodisiac magic?

Nightfire gulped hard, her throat dry. ”B-But I am a new succubus... I don’t think that’s going to work.”

The woman tilted her head, her lips curving into a cruel smirk. ”So new, cutie pie... maybe I could teach you a few things,” she purred, her eyes narrowing as she tried to force her power into Nightfire’s mind.

The air around her shimmered with the haze of a spell.

Nightfire sighed sharply. With a flick of her wrist, she shattered the illusion. The glamour melted like smoke, revealing the truth.... a frail, wrinkled hag?

Sagged breasts hung loosely, her skin was dry and creased, and the seductress’ beauty had crumbled into something grotesque.

”... hmm... You ugly old hag!” Nightfire muttered with a horrified expression, her voice dripping with disgust at the sight of what had been a seductive woman just seconds ago.

”You look like my husband’s wrinkled asshole.”

The woman’s face contorted, turning into a mask of fury and disgust. She gave a sharp, irritated snort, spun on her heel, and stalked away. Yet before long, she snared another victim... a dazed man who fell under her sway instantly, his body trembling as she pulled him close.

Nightfire’s gaze drifted down to the woman’s sagged ass, which the man now massaged bluntly, as if the ugliness didn’t exist to him at all.

”Damn... are these men really into old hags too...

Thank goodness... my husband is not like that!”

’Focus on the mission!’ Ashara’s voice echoed in her mind.

Nightfire snapped out of her wandering thoughts, her eyes scanning the streets around her with focus. She needed to gather information... but who could she trust, and where would the truth actually lie?

She didn’t want to rely on the usual succubus tricks, not when Aether’s word still echoed in her memory.

He had made it clear: no seductive tactics, no honeyed whispers!!

Aether had ordered... no touching men, and... not even women—for the sake of this mission.

He would rather confront Morgana directly than use his beloved as a pawn, a seductive tool to pull out scraps of knowledge.

”What does he expect from a succubus sent to collect information?” Nightfire muttered under her breath, her face twisted with annoyance, before sighing heavily.

The truth was... she kind of loved the way he had ordered her. His seriousness, his refusal to exploit her nature, made her heart twist in ways she didn’t want to admit.

Honestly, at first, she had thought he would command her to unleash her seductive powers, to tempt and corrupt her way into the truth. But when he had forbidden her... when he had looked at her with that steel resolve and said not to—

She... she... gods, of course she had wanted to throw herself at him right there, to fuck him senseless and feel that command melt into pleasure.

But no... As a good girl, she controlled herself. She would finish the mission and bring back what he asked for.

Then, after the task was complete, she would claim her reward... in her own way~

Anyway...

Suddenly, a voice slurred out of the smoky haze.

”Hey, beauty, you have a cute ass—”

Thuck!

Her fist connected before he even finished the sentence. The man crumpled to the ground, unconscious, while Nightfire didn’t even bother glancing back.

She simply kept walking, her steps echoing deeper and deeper into the territory.

As she moved through the alleys and glowing signs.

Every laugh, every whisper, every half-drunken word... she eavesdropped, straining to catch even the faintest mention of the Succubus Queen.

But no!

No one dared to speak her name openly. They wouldn’t just casually talk about their queen in the open air.

Which meant... she needed to do something.

But what?

Nightfire groaned softly, yet her legs carried her forward. Step after step, until—suddenly—she stopped.

Her eyes narrowed.

The place before her was different.

A building was ordinary.

No glowing signs, no writhing bodies clinging to doorways, no words scrawled in lewd promises.

Just a house... A normal one.

And not only this house, but the entire street around it. No smoke hung in the air here, no intoxicating scent dulled her senses. The atmosphere was clean, almost painfully normal, as if she had stepped out of one world and into another.

She stared at the building blankly, her lips parting. ”Maybe... I should talk to them?” she muttered to herself, hesitating only a moment before walking to the door of that particular house and knocking.

’What are you doing?’ Ashara asked in her mind with confusion. ’Are you really just going to ask them outright?’

Nightfire smirked faintly. ’Watch my play, little girl~?’ she answered inwardly, her tone dripping with mischief.

The door creaked. Slowly, it parted... And standing there was not what she expected.

A middle-aged woman appeared, dressed in calm, modest clothing. No revealing fabric, no hypnotic charms, no shameless display of skin.

Just simple, covered garments, ordinary in every way.

Honestly, the contrast was so strong that Nightfire froze, blinking in surprise, her mind tripping over itself to process what she was seeing.

”Who are you?” The woman asked with a hint of curiosity. Her eyes narrowed, and she added flatly, ”I am not interested in fucking you—”

”N-No, that’s not what I want!” Nightfire hurriedly said, words tumbling out as she raised her hand. The woman’s brow furrowed when her gaze fell upon a small, white-colored capsule resting in Nightfire’s palm.

”Hmm?” The woman frowned deeper.

”I need information... in exchange for this,” Nightfire replied in a calm tone, her voice steady though Ashara screamed inside her mind, ’What the hell are you doing? And isn’t that... Aether’s—’

’Believe me... this will work,’ Nightfire cut her off inwardly.

The woman hesitated before reaching out, taking the capsule from Nightfire’s palm with cautious fingers. She lifted it close, sniffed—then froze.

Her eyes sharpened instantly, glowing faintly as something hot dripped between her thighs. Her throat went dry, a low tremble in her lips, while the tail at her back swirled uncontrollably, coiling and writhing with a sensual hunger she could not disguise.

Her horrified expression turned on Nightfire. ”W-What is this thing?” she whispered, almost pleading... almost terrified.

Nightfire’s lips curved into a sharp grin, her smirk filled with cruel confidence. ”I have a few more too...”

The moment those words left her mouth, the woman’s demeanour shattered. She immediately gestured for Nightfire to come inside, her hands fumbling as she glanced nervously at the street.

She shut the door in haste!
