Chapter 440 ~Sweet Nightmare~

Third Personʼs POV

!~Ding~!

Aetherʼs vision went black, replaced by a familiar system log flashing before his eyes, covering his entire field of view.

[Warning: You shall not reveal anything related to future events that you have experienced! If you do so, the existence of the person hearing will be erased from reality!]

Aetherʼs blood ran cold, his breath hitching in his throat. His hands trembled, ”Erased?” he whispered, his voice barely audible, before his frustration boiled over, ”Are you fucking kidding me?! Youʼre telling me—”

!~Ding~!

Another message cut him off.

[Warning: Since this is your first time and part of my fault for not informing you beforehand… ######## is interfering with reality to correct your error.]

Aetherʼs vision cleared, but what greeted him made his heart lurch in horror.

Creeping towards the bed, five grotesque, slimy hands—hideous and brown like decayed flesh... crawled their way across the sheets.

They reminded him of the same hands that had almost caught him during his first meeting with the Mother Goddess at the Origin Pillar.

But this time, there were more than just one or two. There were five—no, maybe more. Their fingers twitched grotesquely as they inched closer to Liora, frozen in time.

”No… No!” Aetherʼs panic surged, adrenaline flooding his veins. He reached out instinctively, desperate to protect her, but before he could make a move—

Zap!

A bright white light shot from his left side, crackling through the air like a lightning bolt. The energy struck the hideous hands, and as soon as the light touched them, they disintegrated into fine particles, vanishing as though they had never existed.

Aether stared at the spot where the hands had been, wide-eyed and breathless.

”Next time, be careful... Fu~Fu~”

A familiar, lilting voice whispered softly in his left ear, teasing yet warning at the same time. Aether turned his head to the left, his eyes scanning the space over his shoulder, but no one was there.

His mind raced, ʼThat voice...ʼ It was unmistakable.

He had heard it before... just a few hours ago.... the same voice that had echoed from his Arcane Card, the two voices that had ʼsavedʼ him back then.

ʼWho are they?ʼ Aether thought.

Just then, the world shifted back into motion. The curtains fluttered in the breeze, the air felt normal again, and the warmth of Lioraʼs body returned against his.

”Aether?” Lioraʼs voice broke through his thoughts, her expression dazed as if she had been on the edge of grasping something, only for it to slip away.

Aether shook his head.

He stared at her for a long moment before sighing.

Without saying a word, Aether wrapped his arms around Liora, pulling her body close as he rested his head against her soft chest.

His face pressed into her busty breasts, the warmth and comfort of her body soothing the turmoil in his mind, calming the storm of emotions swirling inside him. He let out a deep, tired sigh, his voice barely a whisper as he spoke.

”Hug me,” he murmured, the exhaustion evident in his tone.

Liora blinked, momentarily confused by the sudden shift in his demeanour, ʼWerenʼt we supposed to have an important talk?ʼ she wondered.

But she shrugged it off quickly, deciding not to press him further. Instead, she wrapped her arms tightly around him, pulling him even closer.

She didnʼt ask questions.

She didnʼt press him for answers.... All she did was hold him!

....

….

After what felt like an hour or more, Aether stirred, his body shifting as he slowly woke up from his much-needed rest.

His groggy eyes fluttered open, and he glanced up at Lioraʼs gentle face. She smiled softly, her hand tenderly ruffling his hair as she gazed down at him with affection.

”Sleep well?” she asked, her voice a soft hum of warmth as her fingers played through his messy strands.

Aether blinked, his lips curling into a slow smile. He felt more at ease now, the weight of whatever had been troubling him seeming lighter.

He shifted his body closer to hers, his gaze falling to her lips as a mischievous glint sparked in his eyes.

”Yeah…” he whispered, leaning forward ever so slightly, his lips brushing against hers.

Lioraʼs smile widened as she closed her eyes, leaning into the kiss with a soft,

”~Hmm~”

What started as a gentle kiss quickly deepened. Their lips moved against each other with growing intensity, hunger building between them.

”Hmm~”

”~mmfff~”

Slurpp~

”mmmff~~”

Aetherʼs hands roamed up her sides, pulling her closer as the heat of their passion ignited. Liora responded in kind, her body melting against his as they shared the kiss, deeper and more fervent than before.

A thin string of saliva connected them when Aether finally pulled away, their breaths mingling...

”Hah-ha- I will embrace it,” Aether whispered, his voice low and filled with determination.

Liora tilted her head, her eyes questioning. ”Hmm? What do you mean?” she asked, unable to fully grasp his meaning.

Aether smiled faintly, brushing his fingers over her lips, ”I canʼt explain all the details... there are certain issues preventing me from doing that. But, letʼs just say... I had a very bad nightmare.”

Lioraʼs gaze softened, her fingers gently tracing the shape of his lips before she leaned in and gave him a soft, reassuring kiss, ”I see...” she whispered.

Pulling back just slightly, she added with a tender smile, ”Sometimes, nightmares are the ones that either stop us... or push us forward more than sweet dreams ever could.

Whatever that nightmare was, Iʼm sure Yo— We will face it together.”

Aether blinked in surprise, momentarily taken aback by her wisdom. He couldnʼt help but chuckle softly, a mischievous glint returning to his eyes, ”Are you sure youʼre my wolfy Liora? Because the Liora I know wasnʼt this... brainy. Are you really my wolfy?”

Lioraʼs lips twitched, trying to hide her own grin. She had been trying her best, after all!

But seeing Aetherʼs teasing smile and the mischievous spark returning to his eyes, she couldnʼt help but feel relieved. He was starting to feel like himself again, the darkness from earlier fading away.

ʼI like this side of him more...ʼ she thought, her heart warming at the sight of his playfulness returning.

Aether stared deeply into her multicoloured eyes, something primal pulling him closer. His gaze dropped to her neck, and before he knew it, he leaned down and kissed the delicate skin there, his lips grazing her with tenderness,

”~chu~”

”Hmm~”

Aetherʼs kisses trailed down her neck, each one sending ripples of warmth through her body. His lips moved lower, finding their way to her ample breasts.

He kissed the soft mounds, his hands cupping them as he played with her sensitive nipples, sucking and teasing them until they hardened under his touch.

”A-Aet~hmm~”

Liora moaned softly, her body reacting to his touches.... She could feel his shaft that had been still inside her, growing harder with each passing second. His slow, deliberate movements sent waves of pleasure coursing through her, her pussy growing wetter as his cock throbbed inside her.

”Just relax... enjoy it~” Aether whispered into her wolf-like ears, his breath warm against her skin as his hips began to move. He thrust into her slowly, each motion deliberate and controlled, driving her wild with anticipation.

”~Ahh~mmm~”

Lioraʼs body trembled with pleasure as Aetherʼs slow, measured strokes made her drip with desire. The sound of her wetness filled the room, her pussy clenching around him as he played with her breasts, his lips never leaving her sensitive skin.

Aether sucked on her protruding nipples, his tongue flicking over the sensitive peaks as she squirmed beneath him, her body writhing in pleasure.

”Ahh~Yess~Aeetthhh~”

He lifted her leg, positioning himself deeper inside her, thrusting with more intensity as he kissed her lips, their moans mingling.

”Hmm~Aee~aether~aahh~sooo~goood~mmm~fucccckkk!!!”

Lioraʼs body trembled, the overwhelming pleasure building inside her like a dam about to break. But just when she was on the brink, Aether stopped. He grinned mischievously and repositioned her, turning her onto all fours. Explore more stories with empire

In this position, her thick, curvy ass was on full display, wriggling in the air as her nectar dripped furiously from her swollen, needy pussy.

Yet,

Aetherʼs gaze locked onto the mark on her left ass cheek, a tattoo of the symbol ∞ that pulsed with life, almost as if it were alive.

”Be honest with me,” Aether teased, leaning down to whisper in her ear. ”You wanted that mark on your ass so Iʼd get even more excited seeing it, didnʼt you?”

His cock twitched at the thought, growing even harder at the sight of her smirking back at him.

Liora, panting heavily, glanced back with a sultry smirk that spoke volumes.

”Naughty wolfy,” Aether growled playfully before—

Slap!

”Ahhhh~”
