[BL] After SSS-rank mage reborn as the Legendary Craftsman

He looked to the side in dismay. Sure enough, Kang Ian was standing there, that annoying face still wearing its usual smug grin.

He looked at the moving scene before him, then leaned down to ask Kei:

”What’s wrong? Moved to the point of tears already? Your eyes are as red as a rabbit’s.”

Kei shot him a glare.

”Why are you here looking for me again? How is the chairman of an SS-rank Guild so free?”

”Is that not allowed?”

Kei sighed, shrugging and shaking his head helplessly.

”I still don’t have any leads on an item that can cure insomnia. Even if you come looking for me, there’s nothing more I can do!”

Kang Ian let out a soft laugh.

”I didn’t come here to demand an item. After all, you’re still just an F-rank Craftsman right now.”

Kei’s eyes widened in irritation.

”Then why are you here?”

”To see if you’re secretly crying.”

Hearing that, Kei’s cheeks flushed bright red, and his glistening eyes, as if holding a thin layer of moisture, stared straight at Kang Ian.

”I’m not crying.”

”Yeah, your eyes are just a little red.”

Kang Ian chuckled softly, causing Kei to grit his teeth and turn his face away, not wanting to look at that annoying face any longer.

”You’re such a nuisance!”

”Even so, you’re still standing here talking to me, which proves you don’t actually find me annoying, right?”

Kang Ian’s confident expression made Kei want to go crazy.

”It’s because I’m being polite.”

”Is that so? I thought you were worried about me.”

Kei whirled around immediately to shout:

”I already told you! I’m trying to find a way to craft an item for you. But that can’t be done right away. You keep coming to find me, but it won’t make me come up with a solution any faster.”

Kang Ian looked at Kei for a moment, the smile on his lips still not fading.

”Once you find a way to cure the insomnia, I’ll leave right away.”

”You’re planning to stand here forever?”

Kei looked at Kang Ian in disbelief.

”Perhaps.”

Kei looked at Kang Ian’s nonchalant expression, the corner of his mouth twitching slightly. Ahead, the voices of the citizens continued without pause, and beside him, that SS-rank hunter showed no sign of leaving.

Kei could only sigh once more.

Then, Moon So Yeon came running over from who knows where, her hair covered in dust, and what seemed to be a swollen bruise from a punch on her face. Just looking at it made Kei feel pain on her behalf.

”Chairman, you’re here to bother Kei-nim again! How can you run around like this while we’re dealing with a whole mess!”

She hadn’t even arrived yet, but Moon So Yeon’s shouting voice had already reached them.

Kang Ian glanced indifferently at Moon So Yeon, who looked far from okay, then turned back to ask Kei if he wanted to visit the new headquarters of the Crying Ghost Guild.

”The new headquarters of the Crying Ghost Guild? You mean...?”

Kei’s eyes widened.

Exactly as Kei had thought, Kang Ian curled his lips into a smile, pointed at the exhausted Moon So Yeon, and said:

”She’s been this busy because of that. Starting today, Dong-San City will be directly protected by the Crying Ghost Guild.”

Kei was stunned.

Then, a foolish face that always liked to stare at him immediately popped into Kei’s mind.

Wasn’t the black dragon always trying to become the protection guild of this city so it could visit him often? Yet in the end, it turned out to be the Crying Ghost Guild protecting this place instead.

Kei’s stomach suddenly twisted with anxiety.

The black dragon was never a well-behaved child to begin with. Without Kei around, it wouldn’t bother hiding its nasty nature. It would destroy things it didn’t like, clearly a dragon that was both bad-tempered and ferocious.

Kei didn’t think that lacking intelligence would make the black dragon any tamer; if anything, it would probably be even less restrained.

If it found out that Dong-San City was going to be protected by another guild, would the dragon possibly go on a rampage?

For a moment, Kei just wanted to immediately pull out his phone and call Do Ae Young to ask about the situation. But then, Kei was dragged by Moon So Yeon and Sora to check out the new headquarters of the Crying Ghost Guild in Dong-San City.

Kei could only silently pray in his heart.

Do Ae Young-ssi, please hang in there. Don’t let Kai cause trouble!

Because Do Ae Young was currently being chased by a horde of monsters in the grassland Dungeon, she was running and cursing Kai in her heart.

The Boss in this Dungeon of the Black Dragon Guild was a high-ranking SS-rank Boss, one that had both destructive power and a large pack of minions protecting it.

Yes, it was a Lich with the ability to summon Skeleton monsters.

The Skeletons summoned by this Lich even had S-rank abilities, so it could be said that this Dungeon was extremely troublesome. That was why Do Ae Young had no choice but to call Kai back quickly to deal with this Boss.

”Sister Ae Young, when can we finally get out of this situation? I’m about to die from exhaustion!”

A young man shouted loudly at Do Ae Young. Behind him, the Skeletons chasing them stretched out in a long line like a chain of sausages.

”Ae Min, you should ask Kai about that!”

Do Ae Young screamed in distress.

Do Ae Min sighed. Even though his super-speed ability allowed him to run very fast, if he ran too fast, the Skeletons would chase the others instead, which would put them in danger again.

Right now, the whole team was splitting the Skeletons evenly to lead the monsters away from the Lich’s infinite Skeleton respawn zone. As long as the Lich wasn’t dead, these Skeletons would keep respawning endlessly, no matter how many they killed.

”Boom!”

At that moment, in the sky, a 4-meter-tall Black Dragon was using its dragon breath aimed directly at a dry skeleton with a thick black color, causing the Lich to roar in agony.

This battle had already dragged on for 30 minutes, making Kai gradually more and more impatient.

The matter of Kei and Dong-San City made it impossible for Kai to focus on the battle at hand, but without taking down this Boss first, he couldn’t go pick a fight with the Crying Ghost Guild to get Kei back.

The anger and panic made Kai even more furious and frustrated.
