[BL] After SSS-rank mage reborn as the Legendary Craftsman

”Tomorrow I will bring this ring to Thunder.”

Kei carefully placed the small box on the table, then looked at Mrs. Kim and said.

”Don’t worry. I won’t lose it.”

”Yes, that’s good.”

Mrs. Kim nodded, her smile still gentle as usual.

Kei looked at her for a moment longer. He still felt like something was wrong, but if Mrs. Kim didn’t want to talk, he wouldn’t be able to ask more. After putting the box in a safe place, he returned to his room.

That night, Kei sat at the table, placing the broken space ring under the light.

He had been in this world for more than a month, but he had barely had time to carefully study his stats. During the day I have to help Mrs. Kim with sales, but at night I’m tired and want to sleep. If it weren’t for this ring that made him curious, perhaps Kei would still continue to procrastinate.

Anyway, seeing magic power always being a round number 0 along with a body index that only rated F rank really hurt the SSS rank magician in the magic world deeply.

He opened the indicator panel, transparent light appeared in mid-air. Kei touched the profession section, immediately, a new skill panel appeared.

[Occupation: Craftsman]

[Skill:]

[Analysis (E): Can clearly understand the principles of items ranked E or lower.]

[Crafting (F, passive): Enhances the crafter’s dexterity, increasing the likelihood of successful crafting.]

Kei stared at the two skills in front of him.

”Analysis...”

He looked towards the ring.

If this skill can clearly understand the principles of items ranked E or lower, then the F rank ring in front of you is the most suitable object to test it.

Kei placed his hand on the ring and used the skill, a thin ray of light immediately covered the entire body of the ring. The information immediately appears in the system table.

[F rank space stone: Cracked, space lost connection.]

[Silver metal frame: Engraved with magical formations that connect space.]

[Space connection magic pattern: Rank F.(Detailed image of magic pattern)]

Kei silently looked at the words appearing before his eyes.

The space rock is the part that maintains storage space. The silver metal frame is used to fix the stone. The magic pattern formation is responsible for connecting these two parts, forming a closed space.

The principle is not too complicated, but the operating method is completely different from metallurgy in the old world.

There was no elemental magic and no flow of magic power. Instead, there is a type of energy contained in the space stone, then guided by magic formations.

Kei picked up a blank piece of paper and began to draw the magic formations that the system board had instructed.

Each stroke follows each other.

The curves, symbols, and intersections look simple, but even the slightest deviation can make the entire structure ineffective. Kei didn’t want to memorize it lightly. He drew and compared the silver frame of the ring, occasionally stopping his pen to think.

The more he researched, the brighter his eyes became, extremely excited and excited.

This is a completely new crafting system.

It wasn’t the same as the alchemy of the old world, but there were still some similarities between the two. Both use structure and energy to turn ordinary materials into items with special functions.

If he understood the principles of this world through crafted items, perhaps he could find a way to restore his magic power.

Kei bowed his head and continued to draw the magic patterns he saw on paper, mentally reciting them to memorize them.

Outside the window, the darkness gradually faded. When he put down his pen, the morning light was already filtering through the curtains.

Kei looked at the papers covered with magical patterns in front of him, then realized he hadn’t slept all night. He rubbed his eyes, stood up and went to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for Mrs. Kim.

After breakfast, Kei asked Mrs. Kim to take a day off.

”I’m going to the market to buy some ingredients to try out my Craftsman career, ma’am.”

”Okay, but remember to leave early.”

The old lady waved at Kei.

”Yes.”

Kei took the list of ingredients and went to the giant market yesterday.

After a while of searching, he bought an F rank space stone and a matching silver metal frame. The price is not cheap, but Kei still feels happy. As long as he had enough ingredients, he could try to repair the ring.

He carried his bag and returned home.

In his mind, Kei began to visualize each step of the crafting process. Remove the damaged frame, replace the new stone, re-engrave the magic pattern, then restore the spatial connection.

If he succeeded, he would be able to prove that his ability had not disappeared.

But as soon as he entered the door, Kei stopped. The warehouse was unusually quiet and Mrs. Kim was lying on the cold ground in a backwards slumped position.

The small box containing the broken space ring was placed not far from her hand.

”Mrs. Kim!”

Kei shouted, threw the bag aside and rushed straight towards the old lady.

He knelt down and quickly shook her.

”Mrs. Kim, wake up!”
