Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2515: Chapter 2524: I Don’t Agree Either!

The reception room remains unchanged, with Oriental-style furniture exuding an air of elegance.

Old Master Lawrence was trimming the leaves and branches of a Sword-Leaf Cymbidium placed on a redwood flower stand when he heard footsteps behind him. Without turning around, he instructed the Housekeeper, ”Brew two cups of Earl Grey Tea.”

”Yes, Old Lord.” The Housekeeper bowed his head and quietly exited.

Old Master Lawrence removed the gloves he used for flower arranging, casually placing the scissors on the stand, and turned around. His stern features held a hint of his youthful appearance. Seeing Baron Lawrence, his expression was indifferent and unchanged, he spoke coldly, ”Here?”

”Yes.” Baron Lawrence was similarly cold, like a block of ice.

The two people in the same room were like two chilling and hard icebergs colliding in the same sea, fortunately, there was no third person present, otherwise, they would have been frozen by the icy atmosphere inside.

Old Master Lawrence first, supported by his dragon-head cane, walked over to the sofa and sat down, authoritatively commanding the standing Baron Lawrence, ”Sit.”

Baron Lawrence seated himself on the sofa opposite him, waiting for him to continue.

At this moment, the Housekeeper brought in the tea, the exquisite tea set appeared to have traveled through the long ages of the Middle Ages, lavish and delightful.

”Young Master.”

The Housekeeper first placed a cup before Baron Lawrence, then put the other cup in front of the sharp and commanding old man, respectfully saying, ”Old Lord, your tea.”

”Put it down.”

The Housekeeper obediently set the teacup down.

Old Master Lawrence lifted the teacup, took a sip, then calmly set the cup down, his harsh outline softened somewhat, and he looked at him, saying, ”I called you here to tell you that tomorrow night, the Lawrence Corporation has an annual banquet, you need to attend, remember to keep your schedule open.”

The Lawrence Corporation, being a world-class corporation, hosts an annual banquet that’s no small matter, usually requiring the head of the Lawrence Family to attend.

In the past, he always attended, but this year, due to his poor health, Baron Lawrence was to attend on his behalf.

This also equates to confirming Baron Lawrence’s status as the indomitable heir!

”Okay.” Baron Lawrence’s response was indifferent as if unaware of what it meant for Old Master Lawrence to have him attend in his place.

Old Master Lawrence leaned tiredly against the sofa, contemplating for a moment, then added, ”If Tobias is willing tomorrow night, you can bring Tobias along. He’s already ten years old, there’s no need to keep protecting him under your wing. As the next generation heir of the Lawrence Family, he should start meeting others, getting accustomed to such occasions...”

”I will ask him.” Baron Lawrence also agreed with Old Master Lawrence’s viewpoint, but he still wanted to respect Bobby’s decision; if Bobby was unwilling, they could delay for another two years.

Old Master Lawrence assumed he acquiesced, half-closed his eyelids, remained silent for a while, then suddenly spoke, ”Regarding the dark web incident, I’ve already informed Enna, and I hope you can announce the divorce publicly.”

The man, who had been listening like an ice sculpture to Old Master Lawrence’s arrangements, suddenly stood up, his handsome face filled with dissatisfaction, ”Impossible!”

The old man actually went and told that woman about it, no wonder Bobby called him saying Enna seemed off last night.

Old Master Lawrence was displeased with his sudden rise, furrowed his brow, and said patiently, ”I said just about the announcement...”

”I also disagree!” Five words, decisive, leaving no room for change!
