Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2360: Chapter 2369: Revealing the True Self

”You’re talking nonsense, you’re talking nonsense!” Miranda Lewis covered her ears, shaking her head as she reached out with her nails to scratch him, her entire face twisted. ”President Lawrence wouldn’t do that to me, it’s impossible...”

”Is she crazy?” The security guard whose face and neck were covered in scratches muttered a curse under his breath, grabbing Miranda with one hand while irritably asking his companion, ”What do we do now?”

The other security guard, who had long been fed up with Miranda’s attitude, said directly, ”Young Master Lawrence only instructed us to make sure she doesn’t leave, not to manage Ms. Lewis’s temper. Since Ms. Lewis doesn’t want to see us, we won’t let her see us.”

”What do you mean?”

”Idiot! I mean, we throw her in there and shut the door.”

Close the door and you won’t hear her crazy rants.

The security guard being scratched on the back of his hand by Miranda didn’t think much more about it; upon hearing this, he immediately distanced himself from her and gave a strong push.

Miranda, nowhere near as strong as the tall security guard, was immediately pushed to the ground.

”Oh, how did Ms. Lewis fall down?”

Even though she had been pushed, the security guard said she fell.

Miranda wasn’t one to be trifled with; she immediately shrieked, ”You pushed me! How dare you push me!”

She looked ready to get up and bite.

The security guard was startled.

The guard who had suggested the idea immediately closed the door with a bang, shutting the frenzied Miranda inside as she tried to get up.

”Bang bang bang!”

”Open the door!”

”Open the door! How dare you lock me in! I’ll tell President Lawrence, I won’t let you get away with this!”

...

Miranda continued to shout inside the room, banging incessantly on the door held tight by the guards.

The security guard who had pushed her was a bit timid, and upon hearing her threats, uneasily asked his companion, ”What should we do? She said she’ll tell Young Master Lawrence. If he finds out, we...”

His companion rolled his eyes at him, ”Are you stupid or what? Haven’t you noticed that Young Master Lawrence is completely tired of her? I don’t see any romantic relationship between them. Otherwise, why would he have been so dismissive to her earlier? And yet, she shamelessly clings onto him even after being told off.”

”But she’s someone Young Master Lawrence brought here...”

The more perceptive security guard rolled his eyes again, ”Haven’t you heard how much Young Master Lawrence dotes on his wife? At most, he’s just toying with this woman. He’s probably tired of her by now.”

”I’m still worried...”

Before he could finish his sentence, he was cut off, ”Enough, what’s there to worry about? We’re just following orders. If she wants to complain, let her. I think Young Master Lawrence won’t care at all! Look at her face, do you really want to just stand there and get hit by her? Tch, blaming us for her incompetence, who does she think she is? She should take a look at herself.”

The man who’d been scratched and whose face was full of wounds felt a fiery pain on his hand, and hearing this, he was also angry, deciding not to worry any longer, and asked someone to find alcohol to sanitize his wounds...

The guards’ guess was right. After Miranda’s brief bout of door-banging and hysterics, she realized they had no intention of opening the door. Furious, she shook with rage, gritted her teeth, found her phone, and dialed Baron Lawrence’s number.

However, a cold female voice came through the phone, ”Sorry, the user you dialed is not reachable.”
