Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2244: Chapter 2253: We’ve Arrived in Country W

How did she get on the plane? Why didn’t she feel anything at all?

The water cup in Enna Clark’s hand was taken away, and only then did she realize the aching in all her muscles.

Damn.

She’s not just aching all over now, her waist feels like it’s about to break!

She remembers that she couldn’t hold on any longer last night and eventually fell asleep.

And he continued?

Recalling last night’s heated moments, Enna Clark couldn’t help but blush. She quickly chased those passionate images out of her mind, then looked around and asked, ”Where are Bobby and the others?”

”They’re still in Mauritius.” Baron Lawrence took her cup, placed it aside, then found a candy from somewhere and unwrapped it. ”Open your mouth.”

Baron forcibly put a fruit candy into Enna Clark’s mouth.

The sweet fruit flavor immediately spread between her lips and teeth...

The proud man then continued, ”Adam Sinclair will bring them back on tonight’s flight.”

”Uh...” Enna Clark tasted the fruit candy and instinctively asked, ”So only the two of us are going back first?”

Since they were heading back, why not take Bobby and the others along?

Enna had thought they were in Mauritius, that this was the Mauritius airport, and she had just been carried onto the plane by Baron Lawrence...

She was still recalling how she had been carried by this man onto a yacht, back to Mauritius, and then to the airport without waking up.

She had no idea that Baron Lawrence had lavishly arranged for a private jet to take off directly from the island back to Country W.

She hadn’t transferred to a yacht, nor a car; she had been carefully princess-carried onto the plane, and the cabin crew was instructed to maintain silence, so it was normal she didn’t wake up.

”We’re already here!” Baron Lawrence calmly stated the fact. ”We’ve been at W Airport for two hours. From boarding the plane, to takeoff, to returning, you slept for a full eight hours!”

The plane had long arrived and was parked at the airport.

The reason they hadn’t disembarked yet was because she hadn’t woken up.

Because she hadn’t woken up, the crew, the cabin crew, and the old man’s people sent to meet them waited quietly and have been waiting for two hours...

Yet no one dared to disturb her sleep.

”We’re already in Country W? I slept for 8... hours?” Enna Clark’s temples pulsed, ”Why didn’t you wake me? I didn’t even know...”

Didn’t know they were coming back.

Didn’t know they had already arrived.

”You were sleeping, why should I wake you?” Baron Lawrence’s reasoning was as if it were the most natural thing, as if her sleep was of utmost importance. His eagle-sharp eyes suddenly narrowed, and a trace of darkness flickered deep within his unfathomable gaze, ”Aside from last night’s situation, have I ever woken you up when you were asleep?”

Enna Clark, ”...” Last night, wasn’t she woken up by him in the middle of her deep sleep, and then things got out of hand...

He actually had the nerve to say that, she was flustered and unsure of how to respond.

Just then.

Baron Lawrence’s phone rang.

He glanced at the caller ID and said to Enna Clark, ”Now that you’re awake, get ready. The old man’s people have been waiting for you outside for a long time. Later you’ll go home first, the old man heard about the elevator incident and is worried about you. I need to go to the company first, there’s some business to handle. Once I’m done, I’ll come back to pick you up.”
