Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 2005: Chapter 2015: I’ll Pay!

”What 450 thousand? Weren’t you looking for a stunt double? The liquidated damages for a stunt double in one scene is 450 thousand?” Olivia Lewis stopped.

”Of course.” Lisa crossed her arms, smugly saying, ”Anyway, your manager signed the contract, and it’s clearly written in black and white. If you don’t finish this scene, you’ll have to compensate the brand 450 thousand. Think it over yourself. If I were you, I’d obediently finish shooting this scene. You cleared your schedule for the last six months to shoot that movie, but that film isn’t happening. You’ve been out of work for half a year, right? 450 thousand is not a small amount, hehe, you’re a celebrity, it’s no big deal to you, or else you can help your manager pay for it.”

Olivia Lewis clenched her fists, wishing she could bury Lisa’s smug face in the ice bucket from earlier.

But she couldn’t!

She knew Lisa was so brazen because Sunny actually signed the contract.

Because of the statement incident, her image suffered, and Sunny was more anxious than anyone. She knew Sunny had been pulling strings for her during this time.

This time, Sunny must have been tricked and signed without understanding the contract.

Now she remembered that there were always rumors in the circle that the boss of this chocolate brand had an unusual relationship with Lisa, being one of Lisa’s backers.

It seems that there isn’t smoke without fire, and this chocolate brand boss probably does have an unusual relationship with this woman.

If this really escalates, the other party might actually make a fuss and sue for money to help out this woman.

thousand...

Half of her assets were with Adam Sinclair, and the other 750 thousand she gave to Bobby to help with investments. The remaining is about 450 thousand.

If she compensated, she’d be entirely out of liquid funds. She didn’t know how long this storm would last or how long until she could work again.

But if she didn’t compensate, Sunny would have to.

Sunny has earned, at most, hundreds of thousands over the years working with her. She just got married, with a family and kids to support. Forcing Sunny to pay would be unbearable for her.

”So, have you decided? Will you continue shooting, or pay the money? If paying, is it you or your manager?” Lisa looked at the disheveled woman in the center of the scene, feeling particularly pleased, with a grin nearly reaching the sky.

These years, she had always been overshadowed by Olivia Lewis.

She had obviously put in much more effort than Olivia Lewis, yet the best work resources always went to Olivia first.

She endured for so long, and finally, Adam Sinclair had lost interest in Olivia Lewis.

Now everyone in the circle knew that Young Master Sinclair had dumped Olivia Lewis. If she didn’t seize the opportunity now, when would she?

She had had enough!

”Have you decided? Who’s paying up?” She knew Olivia Lewis’s situation and that Olivia didn’t have much money.

No matter whether Olivia decided to continue shooting or pay up, Lisa had achieved her goal.

Olivia Lewis gritted her teeth, looked at her, just about to say she’d pay herself.

Suddenly, a young but powerful voice interjected, ”I’ll pay!”

Lisa and the people on set looked over, only to see a noble-looking boy around eight or nine years old walking over with Olivia’s manager. Though he still had a hint of childishness on his face, his features and aura already showed signs of future charm.
