Lingering Doting Marriage: Big Boss, Little Sweet Heart

Chapter 1044: Chapter 1044: Ding! Bobby’s Emotional Intelligence is No Joke! Chapter 1044: Chapter 1044: Ding! Bobby’s Emotional Intelligence is No Joke! “Weren’t you supposed to call me at ten? Woman, you’re late again!” Bobby’s displeased accusing voice came from the other end of the phone.

Suddenly, he spotted someone lying on the bed behind Enna Clark, who didn’t seem to be the Dubious Man. His brows furrowed deeply, “Enna Clark, who’s behind you?”

Enna Clark paused for a moment and said, “Darling, call him Grandpa.”

Grandpa?

That must be the Dubious Man’s grandpa.

Also, the old man from the legends who stubbornly refused to accept his family’s women.

Bobby quickly made his own judgment and changed his casual tone he had just used with Enna Clark. In a childlike voice, he called out, “Grandpa.”

He was naturally handsome, combining the advantages of both Baron Lawrence and Enna Clark. He was not entirely distant like the Lawrence Family, yet inherited the facial features of the Lawrence Family. At such a young age, one could already see what a charmer he would grow into, making him especially endearing.

“Grandpa, are you sick? Your face looks so pale.” Bobby didn’t act shy at all, despite it being his first time interacting with Old Master. He behaved as if he was already familiar with Old Master, so polite and sensible that no one could dislike him. Not waiting for the Old Master to speak, he crisply said, “My home… My Mummy is really good at making plain rice porridge, Grandpa can have my Mummy make some for you. Whenever I got sick before, she would make it for me, and it’s really tasty.”

Old Master Lawrence was no ordinary person; how could he not see that he was subtly speaking well for Enna Clark? He was just amazed at Bobby’s emotional intelligence, which was much higher than he had thought.

As for his IQ, Old Master Lawrence already knew he was following Baron Lawrence quietly in making small investments.

Undoubtedly, a genius.

No matter how dominant or cold Old Master Lawrence was, facing such a cute face and this kind of crisp concern, he could not remain completely unmoved.

Moreover, such a smart child was his little grandson.

He pursed his lips, his authoritative eyes sweeping over Enna Clark, yet he finally spoke, “You… your Mummy made it for me. I’ll eat it later.”

Enna Clark didn’t expect he would want to eat.

She was stunned for a moment.

Bobby on the other end quickly reacted and immediately said, “Grandpa must remember to eat. Get well soon and stay healthy.”

“Okay,” Old Master promised with a softened gaze.

Bobby, being polite and sensible, said, “Then I won’t disturb Grandpa’s rest. Grandpa, you’re not feeling well, so eat the porridge and take a nap. I’ll call you another day.”

After speaking, he did not forget to praise Enna Clark again, “My Mummy also makes Tomato and Egg Noodles; she often makes them for me. If you want to eat them, you can ask my Mummy to make them. The Tomato and Egg Noodles she makes are especially tasty too.”

Tomato and Egg Noodles… Old Master knew what it was, but he had hardly ever eaten such common food. Still, he nodded, as if to agree.

Bobby sent a satisfied glance toward Enna Clark and then hung up the video call.

Enna Clark, seeing his devilishly clever demeanor, really didn’t know what to say about him. She secretly sent him a message telling him she would call him back later.

Only then did she put away her phone.

Old Master Lawrence seemed not to notice her little gesture, as he picked up the bowl of plain rice porridge in front of him; the previously tense atmosphere in the air had vanished.

He took a bite of the plain rice porridge and, as expected, it tasted good, soft and appropriately glutinous, very suitable for an elderly person. He raised his head, looking at Enna Clark, and suddenly said, “Make me another portion tomorrow.”

He paused, then added, “Make Tomato and Egg Noodles.”
