Academician Kou Jing heard the words and couldn’t help but wryly smile, pointing at Liu Qingzhu and scolding, ”So it’s you, Liu Feiyan, just because I glanced at the statistics, now even I am to blame.”

After speaking, Academician Kou Jing knocked on the table and announced, ”It’s understandable that the Cultivation Level of the top of the autumn exam has declined, but Vice Academician Liu must still tighten supervision, there’s no room for further delays.”

That was the final word, setting the nature of this incident.

However, Song Ziyue, who bore a grudge against Liu Qingzhu, having finally seized this opportunity, was not going to let it pass so easily, ”Indeed, the circumstance might be pardonable, but Academician Kou, the leader of the autumn exam is not trivial!

Should there be a delay, the disgrace would fall upon the face of the entire Dachen National Daoist School.

I suggest that we still set a target for Vice Academician Liu, lest the real First True Inheritor be indeed delayed.

By then, falling behind in the Cultivation progress of the First True Inheritor might be less significant, but losing the face of our Dachen National Daoist School would be a grave matter!”

Liu Qingzhu’s eyes widened instantly, about to curse someone, when unexpectedly, Academician Fang Shihan spoke up, ”It should indeed be so!”

With an Academician taking a stand, the matter was different.

After taking his position, Fang Shihan then looked towards Academician Gao Xuan, asking, ”Academician Gao, what do you think?”

Gao Xuan glanced at Fang Shihan, then at Liu Qingzhu, and slowly said, ”Setting a target, could also work.”

”Academician Pan, what do you think?” Fang Shihan asked further!

With this Academician speaking out, Liu Qingzhu was out of the matter, even the recorder Dong Zhao was seen frowning again and again.

But, as a Vice Supervisor, he didn’t have much opportunity to speak in such a setting, and could only listen silently.

”Setting a target can be considered, but an appropriate one must be set,” Academician Pan Hong chuckled as he looked towards the rotational Academician Kou Jing.

Everyone’s eyes in the venue were also looking towards Academician Kou.

Clearly, with all three Academicians agreeing on setting a target, the matter was settled, even if Kou Jing objected, it was useless.

The rules of Minglun Hall were always such, the Four Great Academicians ruled, the minority complied with the majority.

But crucially, what kind of target should be set.

”Set a target?”

Kou Jing leaned back in his chair, looking towards Song Ziyue, the head of the twelve Vice Academicians, ”Ziyue, what do you think we should aim for?”

Song Ziyue first respectfully bowed to Kou Jing as a gesture of respect, then said, ”I believe, since Xu Jin was the top of the autumn exam and received the most cultivation resources of the National Taoist School, and was only a few days late before,

By the next Minglun Hall meeting, which is in half a month, the ranking of Xu Jin in the God-Killing Battlefield should break into the top five, or even the top three!

Remember, Xu Jin’s strength during the autumn exam was far ahead!

If he falls out of the top three within a month, that clearly indicates he was indeed delayed!

I propose, if by the next Minglun Hall meeting, Xu Jin’s ranking in the God-Killing Battlefield has not reached the top three, the National Taoist School should, according to the rules, provide the leader of the autumn exam a new teacher!”

”How dare you!”

Liu Qingzhu, furious, slammed the table and stood up, visibly trembling with anger.

”It’s not about daring! This is a collective decision by the Four Great Academicians, I’m merely proposing,” Song Ziyue coldly stared at Liu Qingzhu, bearing deep hatred towards this woman who he could almost touch yet didn’t obtain and who had ruined his grand plans.

”I disagree!”

Liu Qingzhu stated her position bluntly.

What a joke.

To change teachers!

This idea was too harmful and wicked!

Changing the teacher for the leader of the autumn exam, Liu Qingzhu would only lose a good student and at most, get a B- grading.

But for Xu Jin, it would almost ruin his path!

No teacher would devote their heart to a student halfway through their teaching.

At that time, Xu Jin, who might be even disliked by dogs, could have a potentially ruined future!

This was also why Liu Qingzhu extremely disliked Song Ziyue.

To hold a grudge against her is one thing, but to go out of the way to make her uncomfortable and embarrass her, and not hesitate to ruin a disciple’s future!

That’s too bad!

”Change the teacher?” Academician Kou Jing frowned, ”That doesn’t sound too good.”

The impact of changing the teacher, Kou Jing was well aware of; it was tantamount to harming Xu Jin.

The difference between a disciple taken in halfway is somewhat like the difference between one’s own child and an adopted child.

”If even after half a month, Xu Jin really cannot break into the top five or three of the God-Killing Battlefield, then he must indeed be delayed, and we must change his teacher!” Song Ziyue insisted bitterly.

”If indeed so, then changing Xu Jin’s teacher, as long as properly advised, should also be acceptable!” Academician Fang Shihan spoke up.

With Fang Shihan speaking, Liu Qingzhu was instantly infuriated.

This old man, too petty!

Just as she was about to lash out recklessly, Liu Qingzhu’s Star-picking Order vibrated continuously, receiving a Starlight Transmission, vibrating continuously three times.

This was a unique function of the internal Starlight Transmission of the Daoist School, with three continuous rapid vibrations indicating an extremely urgent matter.

And such an extremely urgent matter not only concerned life and death but could also likely be a military order.

Helplessly, Liu Qingzhu’s thoughts immediately sunk into the Star-picking Order to read this Starlight Transmission.

[Don’t panic, just look at the latest rankings of the God-Killing Battlefield, Dong Zhao]

With a glance from the corner of her eyes at Dong Zhao, Liu Qingzhu’s mind sank into the Star-picking Order and entered the God-Killing Battlefield with just one glance at the Star Curtain, Liu Qingzhu’s eyes flashed with surprise.

”Rank eleven: Xu Jin, the sixtieth level.”

This ranking made Liu Qingzhu’s heart tremble, and she instantly realized something.

She too had battled in the God-Killing Battlefield and knew its challenges.
