Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 670: Chapter 670: Give Him the Biscuits for Pregnant Women

His gaze was so blatantly hungry that Chi Enen instantly understood which kind of hunger he was experiencing.

But at this hour, where could she go to get him something to eat? Chi Enen felt a bit troubled.

As if perceiving her dilemma, Li Beijue stretched out his hand, beckoning her with a gesture, “Come here.”

“Wait a second.” She began to think where there might be something to eat.

Li Beijue’s eyebrows twisted together as he stood up, forcefully pulled her over, and dragged her into his embrace. His arm locked around her soft waist. He let out a pleased sigh, “I don’t need to eat.”

“Didn’t you skip dinner?” Chi Enen asked, concerned.

Li Beijue’s falcon-like eyes narrowed, his obsidian pupils fathomlessly staring at her. He did not tell her that he hadn’t just skipped dinner but also breakfast and lunch. The incident of his disappearance from the engagement banquet last night had caused an uproar in Country W. There were many more issues waiting for him to handle, and more importantly… a shadow of haze flashed in his eyes. But then, when he saw the expression of concern on the little lady’s face in his arms, his mood suddenly improved, and his stomach felt not so uncomfortable anymore, “Seeing you is all I need.”

Chi Enen’s pupils softened as she suddenly remembered, “Ah, there’s food inside the room.”

“I don’t need to eat.” He just wanted to hold her now!

“You have a bad stomach; you can’t just not eat.” On this point, Chi Enen was particularly persistent. She got up from his embrace to search for food.

Soon, she came back with a large bag of food.

“This is all there is, you’ll have to make do with this to fill your stomach.”

“…”

Scanning the biscuit bag in front of him, Li Beijue’s handsome face darkened with a flame flickering in his intense eyes, a touch of teeth-gritting resentment, “Chi Enen, are you making me eat maternity food?!” Had she eaten the heart of bear and the courage of leopard?

Chi Enen felt a bit guilty under his angry stare, while explaining, “This is all that’s left in the room, just bear with it, eating a bit will do.”

“No way!” His falcon-like eyes flashed; the flames in them burned intensely.

Chi Enen understood his character and knew that reasoning or appealing to emotion was useless on this man. Setting her heart, she took out a biscuit, placed it between her lips, knelt on one knee on the sofa, and fed it to him—

Her cheeks were flushed, her bright eyes shyly dodging as she leaned in with a biscuit between her lips. Instead of wanting to eat the biscuit, he was more tempted to ‘eat’ the person offering it!

Damn it, did this woman think he had such good self-control? Could he withstood such seduction?

Li Beijue suddenly clenched his fist, and his pupil color shifted.

He was never one to make compromises, so he leaned in, took the biscuit from her lips and, seizing the moment, kissed the Red Lips that presented themselves to him.

Because it was a healthy biscuit specially made for pregnant women, it contained much more sugar than regular biscuits. The overly sweet taste made Li Beijue’s eyebrows knit together. His thin lips curled around her delicate tongue, pushing half the overly sweet biscuit into her mouth!

Chi Enen’s intention was to get him to eat something, but she was reluctant to end up eating herself. She immediately pushed the biscuit back, and, in her eagerness to get Li Beijue to eat it, she didn’t care anymore. She exerted much effort and finally, managed to hook him into swallowing the biscuit…

Feeding him just one biscuit had left her breathless.

Yet Li Beijue seemed to have fallen in love with this way of being fed, his pupils narrowing, he spoke hoarsely, “Continue!”

His demeanor gave Chi Enen the feeling of feeding a freshly woken lion; she truly didn’t have the courage to continue feeding him. She picked up the biscuit bag and handed it to him, “There are a lot here, you can take them yourself.”
