Madam Li's Identity Is Exposed Again!

Chapter 659: Chapter 659: Almost Got Discovered

Chi Enen’s entire body shuddered.

Her eyes widened in panic!

She had forgotten that the nurse was still standing outside.

What to do?

Her tongue desperately pushed against the man’s hot, wet one, and the moment she was free, she hurriedly replied, “No, I’m watching a video; do not disturb me.”

The nurse outside had an epiphany, realizing why she heard a man’s voice coming from the room. So, she was watching a video.

...

Miss must be watching an engagement video, right?

The nurse did not inquire further, “Okay, Miss, you should rest early.”

Footsteps sounded from outside the door.

Just when Chi Enen breathed a sigh of relief, all of a sudden, footsteps were heard again, and the nurse who had walked away spoke up once more.

“Duke.”

This time it was Quan Dongting’s voice, “Why are you outside?”

“Miss is feeling unwell and wanted some quiet time alone, so she asked me to leave,” replied the nurse with utmost respect.

Chi Enen could almost picture the scene outside.

She held her breath nervously and couldn’t help herself, and just at that moment, Li Beijue didn’t let her off, sealing her red lips again and starting to tease her.

“Mmm…” Chi Enen’s eyes widened involuntarily, her bright pupils glaring over.

She didn’t realize that her fierce look had no effect at all, and when her watery pupils widened, they merely appeared round and doe-eyed like a rabbit’s, only tempting someone to tease her more.

A heat rose in Li Beijue’s lower abdomen, and one hand firmly held the back of her head that tried to dodge, deepening the kiss…

“Feeling unwell?” Quan Dongting’s voice revealed no emotion.

The nurse’s voice betrayed her nervousness, “Miss watched the news on the iPad at noon and has been in a bad mood since. She told me she wanted some quiet time, and seeing that she really wasn’t feeling well, I took the initiative to step out. But I told Miss that I would stay right outside and that she could call me anytime she needed. Duke, would you like to see the Miss? She hasn’t gone to sleep yet; she’s watching a video.”

Chi Enen found herself caught between fire and ice, her heart suspended in mid-air, neither rising nor falling, and tensely anxious, fearful that any sound would attract Quan Dongting inside and he would discover Li Beijue.

Her body had already become accustomed to this man’s presence and was completely unable to resist.

And yet, because of the wound on his back, she didn’t dare touch him, worried that she might aggravate his already serious injury!

Every minute, every second was an agony for her.

Finally, Quan Dongting’s voice came through, “No need, let her have some quiet time tonight.”

“You keep watch tonight, and whatever she requests, don’t inform me, just agree to it! As long as it makes her a bit happier, try to satisfy her as much as possible, understand?”

“Understood.”

The footsteps outside grew fainter, and Chi Enen’s floating heart slowly returned to her stomach.

When everything outside had completely quieted down, she bit the man’s thin lips irritably, but not hard, pushing his lips away with her tongue, panting…

Li Beijue, seeing her clear eyes filled with moisture and her cheeks flushed, couldn’t help but want to meld her into his very marrow. Yet, aware of his own physical condition, he pressed his arm over Chi Enen’s waist, pulled her onto the bed, wrapped her in his arms, closed his falcon-like eyes, and commanded, “Sleep.”

“I need to do a medical checkup on your wound first.” Chi Enen noticed the dark circles under his eyes and guessed he hadn’t rested well the past several days. She felt a pang of pity but still insisted on her demand.

Li Beijue tightened his grip around her waist, his eyebrows furrowing, “Leave it alone, it won’t kill me!”
