What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

“Err… So who was that?” Bob asked as I searched through the dead Off-Worlder’s belongings to look for more clues.

“I don’t know actually… But I met her before in another incident where they were bombing and mind controlling people back in the Capital City.”

He blinked at me, “Err… What?”

“You heard me… And I’m not joking by the way. Their goal is supposedly to overthrow the gods because they believe they might do what they did to our World to this World.”

“Wait… What? But if I’m not wrong, the Gods who destroyed our world aren’t even the Gods of this world?”

I turned to him, “Oh wow, you’re actually pretty sensible huh?”

He frowned, “I don’t think I’m that bad?”

“You tried to create your own kingdom not that long ago…”

“… Point taken… But seriously, why are they doing that?”

I pulled the corpse of the longsword guy on his back, “Well… I believe it is something along the lines of trusting themselves more with the power instead of someone else I guess?”

“But they want to go against the Gods… How are the Gods not smiting them down already? Aren’t they capable of that?”

I shrugged, “Beats me… Probably something along the lines of not being able to interfere with the World directly or something?”

“That sounds lame…”

“Hey, I don’t make the rules here. Just know that there’s a group that exists that is doing something against them I guess.”

Bob then turned to Katsuki, “Aren’t you guys supposedly best at gathering information or something? Don’t you guys know about this group?”

Katsuki didn’t answer him and at first I thought she didn’t know until I realised she was just refusing to answer him in particular.

I cleared my throat, “Ahem… Katsuki? Do we know anything about this group?”

Katsuki bowed, “My apologies Mistress. My knowledge on them is quite limited but I believe we do have investigations done on them. The information is unfortunately not granted to someone of my position, Mistress.”

Huh… For them not to tell Katsuki about this despite the fact that Off-Worlders were clearly involved meant that this must be especially serious…

I guess I’ll have to ask Mother about it then… And that’s assuming that she’s willing to tell me about it…

Turning my attention back to the corpse of the Off-Worlder that had his head blown off, I rummaged through his pockets to see if there was anything in them.

I already checked his sword out but aside from it being especially sturdy, there wasn’t really anything special about it so I lost interest in that.

Hmm… There’s something… There!

I pulled out a pouch from his pocket and I realised that this was his coin pouch.

Opening it up, there was a mix of several bronze and silver coins in there.

Well… Since he doesn’t need it anymore, I guess I’ll be taking this~

I continued searching but it seems like that was all he had. There was nothing else in his pockets.

I frowned a little at that.

I’ve already searched the girls but they also had nothing and there’s no way that a group like them would be travelling without any supplies.

So I was expecting to find maybe a Pack of Folding or just something that they could use to store their supplies but I didn’t find anything like that.

Hmm… Maybe they’re also accompanying some kind of caravan or something so their stuff is with them?

Oh well…

I dusted myself and stood up before my gaze went to the assassins that had first tried to kill this guy before he attacked me.

Kind of ironic that we ended up doing the work for them in the end… Had they just waited and let me talk to him on our own, we might have ended up fighting anyway and I would have defeated him for them.

I turned back to Katsuki, “What should we do about the bodies?”

She bowed, “We will take care of them, Mistress. Do not worry about them.”

Ohh~ How reliable~ In that case, I shall leave it to you then~

I beckoned to Bob and we both made our way back to our camp, the guy dismissing his summons before running after me.

“Should we be worried about this group?” Bob asked, worry in his voice. “That girl is someone important in that group right? And she saw our faces… They’re going to come after us?”

I tapped my mask, “Technically, they only saw your face and not mine.”

He wrung his hands together, “Ok, that’s why I was worried. They’re not going to come after me, are they? That girl saw me and that guy said that just because I’m an Off-Worlder, I was considered a threat! I can’t defend myself like you can!”

“Relax, I don’t think they target specific people. At least, not yet… And I believe that girl didn’t even pay any attention to you.”

“Yeah but… I’m kind of worried that they would do something to this world and then I die again or something. I just managed to get myself out of that shit show so I don’t want to be involved in another one!”

I half turned my head to face him, “You got yourself out of it?”

He gulped, “I… I mean you got me out of it… I misspoke…”

I turned back and continued walking, “To be honest, I believe I would most probably be against them anyway. I’m… Well… Quite fond of some of the gods of this World and I’m quite thankful for them for giving us this chance to be in their World. They could have just ignored us from the very start or even just dropped us here without anything at all, yet they still did what they did. The life I have now is all thanks to them so I’d like to be on their side for this.”

Bob stayed silent for a while before shrugging, “Well.. I guess it’s easy to also blame my initial plight on them as well but the only reason why I ended up in my position is because of my own actions… I already learned my lesson the hard way so I’m not going to waste what I went through because of that.”

I eyed him again, “Speaking of which… What is your current position now? Are you still a criminal slave?”

He scratched his head, “Ah… Well… To put it simply… Yes… But I have been shifted to be under the Nilm Family instead and for my cooperation in uncovering those incompetent duo… I was granted a reduction in my sentence. I only need to serve another year before I am free.”

“Should I congratulate you?”

“Well.. It is something good I guess? But I don’t know what I should do after I am free…”

“You’re not going to try and create another kingdom again, are you?”

He shook his head quickly, “Oh no, no… Not at all, not at all. As I said, I learned my lesson already.”

“Well… If you’re looking for things to do, why not just become a Dungeoneer or even a Mercenary? Isn’t that the standard trope for people who wake up in another World?”

“I suppose there’s that… But I originally made this build for myself because I wanted to fulfil my fantasy of being a leader and leading a community to build a kingdom from scratch you know? Now that I know more about this world… I was wondering if I could still somehow fulfil that without doing something that would piss off an entire government…”

I tilted my head at him, “Well… This sounds like you might as well aim for obtaining a noble title and then being assigned as the noble of a territory to govern it.”

“Meh… Just taking over a territory that has already been developed compared to starting from scratch is completely different. What I want is being able to start from nothing and then watch it grow into something, you see.”

“Hmm… You know… Why don’t you try and request for that with the King or something? Maybe she might even use you to develop frontier towns or something. I’m being a little biased since I’m basically a citizen of this Kingdom and would like this Kingdom to flourish which is why I would prefer good talents to stay within the territory.”

He grinned, “So I’m a good talent now?”

I waved at him, “Don’t flatter yourself. Once I learn Kalomancy from you, I’ll just replace you.”

“Oh no, my future employment is at stake, I guess I better step up my game then.”

Just as I was about to say something back to him, my foot kicked into something hard and I almost tripped over it.

Looking back, I realised that there was a pile of bags that were dumped at the side leaning against the tree with the owners nowhere to be found.

Wait… Are these their bags?

I went over to it and opened the first bag up, the first thing that came into view was… A map?

Unfurling it, I realised this was a map of the area with a circle marked on it that wasn’t too far from here.

Is this… One of their bases?
