What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

So… Small update… The guy still ended up getting locked up by Unerolia as punishment for kidnapping those slave girls.

But I think she’s going to go easy on him by letting someone teach him about the common sense in this World and only letting him go after he has worked off his sentence as a criminal slave.

Honestly, things could have gone worse for him so this was definitely quite lenient of Unerolia to give him such a sentence.

Unfortunately for the Marchioness though, Esmeral was not amused when she found out what her Mistress did.

I ended up watching the Marchioness getting lectured by her own slave about how she was always running off to spar with other people instead of doing the work she was supposed to do.

I believe under normal circumstances, Unerolia would also be arguing back with Esmeral but she was unable to do so because Mother was currently in the same room as her.

And just for the record, I don’t even think Mother was listening to what was happening over there because she was completely busy with brushing my hair while I sat on her lap.

She was even humming a soft tune as she did it while her hand ran through my hair.

“Ufufufu~ My little one truly is the cutest~” She giggled out of the blue, planting a kiss on the back of my head before she went back to brushing my hair.

“Mother…” I asked, turning my head slightly around to look at her from the corner of my eye. “How long are we going to stay here?”

“Ara, ara~ Now that my little one mentioned it, I suppose we should be leaving soon, shouldn’t we? We still have a little tour to complete before we reach home~”

“Umm… So are we leaving soon?” I asked, trying to bring the conversation back on point.

“Ufufufu~ If my little one wishes for it, we can leave now if you would like~”

“Err… I’m not exactly in a rush so there’s no need for that…”

“Ara, ara? Very well then~ We can leave tomorrow instead, there’s no need to rush~ Ufufufu~ In that case, is there anything my little one would like to do?”

Before I could answer, Unerolia suddenly turned around, “Oh! Oh! You can go to the Night District of the city, Aster! Our city’s nightlife is definitely something you can’t miss! I can act as your guide!”

Esmeral frowned, “Mistress, I’m not done talking yet.”

The Marchioness pouted at her, “Come on, Esmeral! Which one is more important? Aster having a good time in our city or me being lectured about not doing my work? Of course it’s the former, right?!”

I saw Esmeral’s eyes dart over to Mother for a moment and it was clear she didn’t want to agree with her but she also knew that if she said that out loud, Mother would not be happy.

She eventually let out a sigh, “Fine… I’ll let this go for now, Mistress… Please remember your duties from now on.”

Just as Unerolia was about to celebrate, the slave girl spoke up again.

“Ah, but Mistress shall not be the one to guide her. You still have the documents from two days ago to go through, Mistress. I shall be the one to guide her instead.”

Unerolia blinked at her slave, “Eh… Eh? Wait… That’s not what… That’s not what I wanted…”

Esmeral turned to me and bowed, “Lady Aster, please allow me the honour of guiding you tonight so that my Mistress will be able to complete her work.”

I could tell she was trying to use me to shut down any arguments the Marchioness might have but I guess it’s warranted since even I knew Unerolia was trying to run away.

That’s why I decided to help the slave girl a little by nodding, “I will be in your care then.”

“Wahhhh! That’s not fair!!” Unerolia whined, waving her arms around like a child throwing a tantrum. “I want to be the one that guides Aster!!”

Esmeral turned back to her mistress, “You can join Lady Aster after you are done with your work, Mistress.” Stay tuned with My Virtual Library Empire

In an instant, the Marchioness’s attitude did a one eighty and she proudly thumped herself on her chest, “Leave it to me! I’ll have it done in an instant!”

If you could do it in an instant, then why not just do it and save yourself the trouble… Is what I’d like to say but I chose to keep my mouth shut instead.

Esmeral ignored her Mistress and straightened herself while still facing me, “Please let me know when you would like to set off, Lady Aster. The city usually transitions to the nightlife aspect in a few hours. I would highly recommend going before that to watch the transition as it’s a spectacle on its own.”

Well… If you were going out of your way to tell me that, then I suppose we can just go soon? I was already dressed anyway and Mother already helped do my hair.

I looked up at Mother, wondering if she would be joining us but she giggled, “You can go enjoy yourself, my little one~ Mama will wait for you here~”

I understood that as her telling me to go so that she could watch me from afar. Alright then…

I turned back to Esmeral, “I can leave anytime now I guess?”

“In that case, please give me a moment to prepare, Lady Aster. We shall set off for the city in a while.”

She then gave me another bow before leaving the office that we were in, prompting Unerolia to leap to her feet and rush behind her desk to start sifting through her documents at record speeds.

Seriously… If you could already do this from the start, why not just do it…

Mother released me to allow me to get up on my feet, allowing me to straighten my dress before turning to her.

“Umm… Is there anything I need to prepare for this, Mother?”

Mother giggled, “Ufufufu~ What would you need to prepare for, my little one? Aren’t you just going to enjoy the city at night? Ara? Maybe you might need to prepare for the sweets that might appear during that time~”

“Eh?! Sweets?!” I blurted out.

“Ufufufu~ That’s right~ They also hand out sweets at night for visitors so my little one can enjoy them too~ There would also be some games that the residents challenge visitors to play and you can get prizes for winning~”

Oohhh~ I thought the nightlife that Unerolia was referring to was something like bars and nightclubs opening up but it sounds like it’s more like a festival instead!

That means there’s going to be food stalls, festival games, sweet stalls, performances, sweet stalls, music, sweet stalls, dancing and sweet stalls!

Mmmm~ I’m already salivating at the thought of it! I can’t wait already!!

I turned to Katsuki who had been standing at the side this entire time, “Are we ready to go, Katsuki?!”

“Of course, Mistress.”

Then let’s go!

I rushed out of the room and made my way down to the main hall where I found Esmeral already there waiting for me.

“Lady Aster. Will you be travelling incognito or will you be moving as yourself?”

I paused for a moment, “Ermm… I think I can just attend it as myself. No need to announce to everyone there that I’m from the Nilm family with the mask.”

“Understood,” She nodded, before she reached up to her shirt collar and forcibly pulled it down.

In an instant, her secretary looking outfit changed to look like a more casual set of shirt and pants almost like magic. She then reached up and tied her hair before attaching a hair clip at the side.

In just a few short seconds, she had transformed herself into another person and it wasn’t even through the use of Somatomancy.

The way she did it also showed that she must have done this quite often before. I wonder just what purposes she has for this skill?

I thought that we were ready to leave but Esmeral had another question, “Will Lady Aster take the carriage or will we be moving on foot?”

“Err… I think the carriage is a little too conspicuous so we can just move on foot instead?”

She nodded, “Understood.”

I heard some shuffling from behind and almost turned to look but Esmeral continued, “Then preparations are complete, Lady Aster. Please refer to me as Eme while I am dressed like this. I am merely just your local guide for tonight and there is no need to be polite with me.”

Oh wow, she even has a cover story and everything, she really thought this through huh?

I pointed at myself, “Do I get a cover as well?”

She tilted her head at me, “There is no need is there, Lady Aster? You can just be yourself.”

Ah… Oh well… I thought I was going to be like some kind of secret agent or something.

Wait, the purpose is to go and enjoy the festival! I almost forgot!

What are we waiting for? Let’s go already!
