My Martial Arts Level Never Drops

Chapter 462: Chapter 210: Perfection

The sharp sword intent surrounding him slowly faded.

”The cold from that Nature is truly terrifying... It took a full month to completely purge it.”

The stunningly beautiful woman had appeared in the courtyard at some point. She looked at Zhao Yuanling and spoke slowly.

Qin Fang’s Profound Nether Nature had frozen Zhao Yuanling solid on the spot. Afterward, an Elder from the Golden Rainbow Sword Sect and the stunningly beautiful woman had worked together to dispel over ninety percent of the Profound Nether Cold Qi from his body.

But the remaining ten percent... it had seeped into his organs, clinging like bone-eating maggots. It had taken Zhao Yuanling a full month, supplemented by cold-dispelling Elixir Powders, to finally purge it completely.

...This was a testament to the terrifying power of Qin Fang’s Profound Nether True Essence!

Hearing the stunning woman’s words, a savage killing intent flared deep in Zhao Yuanling’s eyes. God only knew how he had survived the past month.

His organs felt like an ice cave, the chill like ten thousand poisonous thorns constantly stabbing at his insides, subjecting him to endless agony.

The process of dispelling the cold was even more arduous. Every attempt to drive it out would inevitably agitate the chill, making him feel as if he’d been plunged into an ice pit as ice crystals formed all over his skin, forcing him to re-live the sensation of being frozen solid...

This process also consumed a massive amount of his True Essence. After a month, his total reserves had withered significantly. It would probably take at least several months for him to recover.

In essence, this battle had not only subjected him to extreme pain but had also set him back three or four months. His Cultivation hadn’t advanced an inch!

And that was just the physical pain.

What truly made him wish he were dead... was the torment to his Spirit!

During this time, he could clearly feel the change in his fellow disciples’ attitudes toward him.

His Senior Sister was alright; she cared for him as she always had.

But the change in attitude from his other fellow disciples was glaringly obvious.

He would tremble whenever he vaguely overheard the three words, ”Golden Rainbow Sharpness.”

’...That was clearly a rule set by Master, so why is everyone blaming me for it now?!’

’Yes, he couldn’t deny that his string of victories had caused a subtle shift in his mentality. He was proud to begin with, and the successive wins made him get a little ahead of himself, causing him to say some inappropriate things.’

’But... isn’t that an inevitable consequence of strength?’

’The strong looking down on the weak...’

’What’s so wrong with that?!’

’How could they completely negate his past achievements just because of one defeat?’

’How could they heap all the responsibility and humiliation on his head alone, just because of a single venomous taunt from that Qin Fang?!’

Remembering Qin Fang’s calm face, remembering the thunderous laughter that erupted from below the stage...

Zhao Yuanling felt as though this unventable resentment and humiliation would burn right through his insides!

”Senior Sister, I can’t accept this!”

He said, his voice hoarse and filled with profound grievance and indignation.

”What do you want to do?”

the stunningly beautiful woman asked, her voice calm.

”I...”

Zhao Yuanling said a single word, then stopped...

’...That’s right, what does he want to do?’

’What *can* he do?’

’What he wanted most, of course, was to kill Qin Fang!’

’But... how is that possible?’

’In terms of Talent, that guy is the best the Heavenly Gang Wuji Sect has seen in a hundred years! ...His status is far higher than mine in the Golden Rainbow Sword Sect!’

’In terms of strength? What happened on the Inquiry Platform that day said it all.’

’In terms of background? The man is a First Hall True Inheritance disciple of the Guiyuan Lineage! ...He’s even respected by all the seniors of the Heavenly Gang Wuji Sect and admired by his peers!’

’...Kill him?’

’If I revealed even a shred of clear killing intent toward Qin Fang here... I would probably never leave the Heavenly Gang Wuji Sect alive!’

Zhao Yuanling realized with a sense of powerlessness...

There was nothing he could do.

He clenched his fists so tightly his knuckles cracked, but he couldn’t utter a single word.

”So... am I just supposed to let it go?”

he asked hoarsely, his voice full of indignation.

The stunningly beautiful woman looked at her Junior Brother. After a moment of silence, she sighed softly and said, ”Alright, don’t dwell on it. Just get some rest for now... His Profound Nether Nature is no small matter. Even with the cold completely purged, you’ll need some time to recuperate before you’re fully recovered.”

Zhao Yuanling pressed his lips together, then something suddenly occurred to him.

”Nature... That’s right, the Nature!”

”That Qin Fang’s Nature, it’s definitely not normal!”

”Senior Sister, he must have come across some great fortune!”

His eyes lit up as he looked at the stunning woman.

The stunningly beautiful woman fell silent. After a long moment, she said calmly, ”That’s his fortune. What does it have to do with you? ...You cultivate the Geng Metal Sword Way. Surely you aren’t thinking of switching to the Profound Nether Sword Dao? ... Now, get some rest. Don’t overthink things.”

While Zhao Yuanling stared in a daze, the stunningly beautiful woman turned and walked away.

Zhao Yuanling sat stunned in the courtyard for a long time before turning and heading back into his room.

But a hint of madness flickered in the depths of his eyes.

’That’s right, I cultivate the Geng Metal Sword Way... but there are others who cultivate the Profound Nether Sword Dao!’

’Qin Fang...’

’I can’t kill you, but I’ll take your fortune from you!’

He clenched his fists.

A short while later, he left his quarters, transforming into a streak of sword light and heading straight for the gates of the Heavenly Gang Wuji Sect...

「The days passed one by one.」

Linyuan Peak was bustling every day.

Under Qin Fang’s guidance, more and more disciples learned to fly freely.

Some were even getting impatient, wanting Qin Fang to start a ”Great Success” class.

But he felt it was best to wait a little longer.

This time, he earned even more contribution points. Qin Fang exchanged all of them for supplementary medicines to cultivate his Leaf Skill and began to focus on its practice.

「In the blink of an eye, another six months passed.」

Supported by a sufficient number of contribution points, Qin Fang managed to bring all of his current Leaf Skills to the Realm of Perfection within half a year!

His power had once again increased dramatically!

’If I were to fight Zhao Yuanling now, I could probably kill him with a single slap.’

Qin Fang thought as he felt the power surging through his body.
