The Mecha Driver Is a Cultivator

Ancient Era.

Every Ancient Land holds mystical secrets. After gaining insights into the simulated world of the Third Game, Qin Jin began to delve into its contents.

He practiced Martial Arts on a spiritual level, continually strengthening himself, while also attempting the Celestial Cyan Technique, beginning his cultivation through Martial Arts.

However, he found he could not proceed.

Perhaps due to the absence of a cultivation technique for the Human Race at this time, Qin Jin was entirely unable to cultivate using the Celestial Cyan Technique in this simulated world. Martial Arts were similarly restricted, as if his cultivation method was bound by some rule.

In this era, everything was far more chaotic than within the Great Wilderness. Alien Species waged incessant wars, and even within tribes, Qin Jin often saw giant beasts with wings spanning the sky, fearsome and terrifying.

The tribe was subservient to an Ancient Beast, but fortunately, this Ancient Beast was not bloodthirsty or brutal. It was accompanied by other smaller tribes that were dependent on it. Life was harsh but bearable, with little bloodshed.

Time passed.

Although unable to cultivate, Qin Jin was revered as an outstanding figure among the youth of the tribe due to his spiritual enhancement of the body, and was highly regarded by other tribe members.

The Human Race of today had no established cultivation techniques but possessed some methods to enhance themselves, although the limit was meager and better than nothing.

Until this day.

Guests arrived at the tribe.

They were a group of over a hundred people, all exhausted from their travels, warmly welcomed by the tribe.

Despite their weakness, tribes of this era were increasingly united, treating strangers with kindness, as race was a trustworthy bond in these chaotic times.

The tribe hosted a bonfire feast for the visiting group.

Halfway through the feast, however, both sides parted disgruntled after a disagreement between the tribe’s leader and the visiting group’s leader, and the visitors departed into the night.

Qin Jin decided to follow them.

He wanted to unravel the intricate details of the Third Game and faced with this sudden change, he was determined not to miss the opportunity.

Unconcealed, Qin Jin was noticed by the group. They stopped to wait for him, and the leader of the group came forward to greet Qin Jin.

He had a resolute expression, a middle-aged appearance, weathered by time. Upon seeing Qin Jin, he spoke, ”Young man, your leader spoke to me about you.”

”He said you are the tribe’s most outstanding youth.”

”What do you wish to achieve by following us?”

Upon hearing this, Qin Jin spoke candidly, gazing at the entire group before resting his eyes on the middle-aged man: ”What are you planning to do?”

”Us?”

The man’s eyes showed a flicker of emotion as he spoke firmly, ”We are searching for a path.”

”A path for the Human Race to be strong without needing to rely on others.”

He looked at Qin Jin, ”I spoke about this to your leader. He refused, unwilling to allow his tribe to join us.”

”Young man, you’ve gotten your answer, go back.”

”Searching for a path...”

Qin Jin inhaled deeply.

After hearing these words, he realized these people were none other than the Elder Sage referred to by Ji Lianxing?

The term Elder Sage carried profound significance.

It represented those who cleared the path for the future of the Human Race.

He gradually gained a new understanding of the Third Game, and with a flash of thought, Qin Jin unhesitatingly said, ”Can I join you?”

”Of course.”

The man’s eyes shone brightly, ”We welcome any fellow tribesmen wishing to join us. Everyone in this group comes from different places.”

”Besides us, throughout this vast world, there are other Human kin striving like us.”

”I am called [Yuan].”

”And you, young man, what is your name?”

Qin Jin paused for a moment.

Then said, ”You can call me Ashes.”

...

Qin Jin joined the group, embarking on a journey across this vast world with them.

He clearly understood all about the cultivation path, but found himself unable to disclose any related information no matter the method attempted—it was futile.

Evidently, just like his inability to cultivate directly, this was due to the rules of the Third Game.

Not just the Celestial Cyan Technique, but Martial Arts as well, the cultivation paths of the participants couldn’t be conveyed.

Unable to divulge, Qin Jin immersed himself among them, traveling, exploring, interacting.

Starting from nothing is always the hardest step.

Their group roamed the wilderness, faced thrilling perils, saw some sacrifice, others fall behind, and newcomers join.

They encountered other groups, exchanged ideas, attempted diverse directions, and faced paths that seemed promising but ended in dead ends.

Gradually.

The group’s original leader, [Yuan], grew old.

In a flourishing place, he walked his last journey without regret for his life, hoping the descendants would succeed.

[Ashes] became the new leader of the group.

Knowing the true path yet unable to share it, this led to frustration, making Qin Jin more of a witness and participant.

Everything occurring seemed to echo what Elder Zhu mentioned in the Ancient Scenery, about not speaking of the past.

He led the team, exploring Mysterious Lands, alien places, searching like [Yuan] once did, traveling to human tribes, seeking new [Companions].
