The Mecha Driver Is a Cultivator

Qin Jin felt solemn.

”Your background is strong enough, but there are some troubles. If you can avoid getting involved, then don’t, otherwise it will lead to a series of unpredictable events.”

”Even within the Federation, the debate on this matter never stops. Some believe resources should be allocated to explore the origin of Spiritualists, while others think efforts shouldn’t be spent on Spiritualists.”

”After all...”

”Spiritualists have been a consistent evolutionary path in the Star Sea, whereas Martial Arts is an indigenous evolutionary path of the Federation.”

”The debate over spiritual energy has never ceased.”

”If others find out, you might become the center of a storm. Even if nothing happens eventually, it will inevitably affect your cultivation.”

”I understand.”

Qin Jin nodded seriously.

”I originally wanted to stay for a few days at Thunder Star; now that you have made progress in Martial Arts, we could have had a good discussion.”

”But now, it seems impossible.”

”I need to confirm the root of everything; perhaps... it’s linked to something I’ve been investigating.”

”Wait for my news.”

Once he finished speaking.

He nodded at Qin Jin and suddenly disappeared from where he was.

As a Sixth Realm Spiritualist in the Phase Realm, theoretically, he can roam the Star Sea without even using transportation.

”Spiritual power.”

This scene completely exceeded Qin Jin’s expectations.

By comparison, he still doesn’t like unexpected events.

”What is certain is that this should indeed be related to the improvement of my talent.”

”The Celestial Cyan Technique and Martial Arts are extremely harmonious, even complementary to each other. Spiritual power and Primordial Power never clash; they can even be used together.”

In contemplation, Qin Jin summoned the profession panel.

He looked at the Researcher profession, focusing on the Extraordinary Power section below.

With the improvement of cultivation, he no longer knows nothing like in the beginning, needing everything to be verified, and in the short term, opportunities to use the profession panel are decreasing steadily.

At this moment, continuously pondering, Qin Jin formulated many questions in his mind, focusing on the Experience Level of Extraordinary Power to see if it increased.

”Primordial Power is a manifestation of my own strength, so the Spirit Ruins do not repel it, whereas spiritual energy is purely external power.”

”Moreover.”

”Does the repulsion of Primordial Power towards spiritual energy arise from the inherent opposition between these two forces, as well as being related to my breakthrough beyond life’s limits?”

”From the start of the Federation to now, there are actually many Spiritualists like Teacher Chu, who practice Martial Arts concurrently, since the Federation was founded on Martial Arts.”

”However, never have I heard of Spiritualists making great achievements in Martial Arts.”

”Yet the talent of each Spiritualist is indeed very good; it shouldn’t be like this.”

”Does spiritual power inherently suppress the Primordial Power nurtured by Martial Arts?”

Thinking to this point, he clearly saw the digits of the Experience Level after [Extraordinary Power] under [Researcher] flicker.

”It truly is like this!”

This exploration allowed him to regain the initial joy of engaging with the Great Wilderness and understanding unknowns, he pondered deeply, recalling the image of Chu Tianyi leaving directly, and then took out his communicator and sent a message.

After a long time without receiving a response, Qin Jin mentally stirred, said a word to others in the villa, and ventured out at night.

Hurrying to the forbidden zone!

Under the night sky, the plants in the forbidden zone seemed to even emit a glow, appearing mysterious and beautiful.

Upon entering the forbidden zone, Qin Jin spoke out: ”Your Excellency the Observer, I have questions I wish to ask you.”

Once he finished speaking.

A gentle voice resounded at his ear: ”Speak.”

”My teacher came to see you before, and posed questions to you.”

”I wish to know what questions he asked.”

He chose to ask directly.

With Your Excellency the Observer, there was no need to be secretive, everything could be stated plainly.

”He asked me whether there exists the concept of life within spiritual power.”

The voice of Thunder Proclaimer Observer responded.

”Life?”

Qin Jin’s expression turned serious, then said, ”How did you answer?”

As soon as he finished speaking, the Observer’s voice sounded again.

”After he raised the question, I sensed and confirmed spiritual energy.”

”My answer is...”

”Life should exist, but it doesn’t right now.”

Upon receiving the answer, Qin Jin immediately expressed gratitude: ”Thank you, Your Excellency the Observer.”

The sound fell silent at his ear.

Under the night sky, the sound of insects singing echoed in the forbidden zone.

Qin Jin stood in place, deep in thought.

...

During days outside the Academy, Qin Jin’s life became freer.

Actually, with the rise of academic years, students spend less and less time in the Academy.

The Mecha design team’s work is proceeding vigorously, with starships bearing army insignias arriving at Thunder Star, bringing high-value materials.

To fit the extraordinary factor that Qin Jin provided, the team conducts multifaceted attempts, determining plans, resulting in numerous draft failures.

Actually.

The Mecha manufacturing team is already prepared to produce [scrap], and although the mecha that a Martial Arts Family striving for the High Realm of Martial Arts might operate currently may just be a transitional item, for the mecha team it’s a chance for adjustment and experimentation. They invest their full effort, and the Military Department won’t mind these losses, providing them ample space to showcase their skills.

Qin Jin’s daily schedule gradually became fixed, besides studying related courses, he stayed active between the Mecha Research Institute and the Great Wilderness.

When he initially returned to Thunder Star, the livestream classes facilitated by Candle Kite were still conducted jointly with other students.
