The Mecha Driver Is a Cultivator

A land navigated vessel hovered high in the sky, below the sea had completely calmed; the monstrous waves had disappeared, and the fluorescent hued sea surface reflected the dim sky, appearing both mysterious and special.

As Zhou Yutang issued orders, the Third Battle Group had already begun operations, enforcing emergency lockdown around the entire sea area to prevent entry. Large instruments were taken from the land navigated vessel and escorted to the deep sea for detection and investigation.

At the same time.

An Extraordinary Strong Person set foot on the sea surface, harnessing power for communication and searching.

It’s the Spiritualists of the Third Battle Group.

As extraordinary beings able to communicate with the primordial power of the universe, Spiritualists play a significant role in the Pioneer Corps.

Reports and exchanges echoed in and out of this sea area.

”After causing this change, the source of that extraordinary force seems to have completely vanished.”

”At present, no signs have been detected.”

”Investigate thoroughly and attempt to gain some findings before support from the Corps Headquarters and other areas arrives.”

”Judging by the level of power, the missing personnel were [moved] by some method, suggesting the other party has a certain purpose but not purely malicious intent, otherwise there would be no need for such complexity.”

”Center this sea area and search for any hidden spaces that may adjoin coded planets. I tend to believe they haven’t executed super long-distance transmission in such a short time, for if they possess such capability, there’s no need to act only when we conduct our Purge mission.”

The entire Third Battle Group got busy.

At the same time.

Under the coordination of specialized personnel, related information was transmitted through diverse networks to various regions of the Federation.

The planetary cleansing mission is aimed at specific targets, meaning task specialists participating in it likely have varying degrees of strength or organizational backing.

The number of missing personnel is not large, but they are all Level 5 Specialists, indicating their extraordinary nature, like pebbles falling into the water, they will inevitably stir ripples.

...

Martial Abyss Headquarters, on Star Sea Islands.

At another corner of the island was a simple-looking courtyard. At this moment... a figure stood within the courtyard, gazing upwards with arms behind.

The current Principal of Martial Abyss, Chi Chenzhou.

His sight seemed to be cast toward the Star Sea, but within his eyes was the reflection of a magnificent scene, seeming not to be viewing the Star Sea, but gazing through it at some hidden special place.

At this time.

Whatever he might have seen, this entity of profound realm and steadfast mindset, showed a rise of pleasure on his face, with delighted laughter echoing in the courtyard.

Beside him.

Silently, a figure materialized, dressed in Martial Abyss’ standard school uniform, with exquisite features, it was Candle Kite.

”What happened?”

Noticing the other’s presence, Chi Chenzhou did not turn around, his voice sounded.

”The Weiyang Star System’s Pioneer Corps has sent special communication to the academy.”

”Our student encountered an accident during the cleansing mission and is currently missing.”

”Missing?”

Chi Chenzhou turned back, brilliance flashed in his eyes as if examining something, his expression slightly deepened: ”Qin Jin is missing?”

”Has the Pioneer Corps investigated the cause?”

”They are conducting an inquiry, currently unsure of the exact cause, suspectedly related to the peculiar power source left by ancient civilizations.”

”What about Vice Principal Fang, were protective measures for the involved students prepared?”

”Preparations were made upon Qin Jin’s departure, and now he is also located in the Weiyang Star System.”

”Moreover, Qin Jin’s mentor, Gu Huang, is also accompanying on the journey there.”

”However, that is nevertheless the latest pioneering planet of the Pioneer Corps, which we dare not delve into too deeply, coupled with the sudden occurrence making immediate remedy impossible.”

”Having made preparations for protective measures, implement emergency protocols first, isn’t Gu Huang there? Have her lead the team to contact the Pioneer Corps.”

Chi Chenzhou looked at her: ”Candle Kite, I entrust this to you.”

”Transmit communications, the academy requires real-time synchronization of relevant information from the Pioneer Corps to make preparations.”

”Additionally, explain Qin Jin’s identity to those with sufficient authority, letting them comprehend the importance of this matter.”

”Principal... shouldn’t we.”

”Execute the emergency protocol first.”

Chi Chenzhou’s voice was solemn as he answered, then contemplating for several breaths, he continued: ”Make contact.”

”Whether it be Qin Jin’s aptitude or identity, both merit our full efforts.”

”If the protocol proves effective, that’s good; if it fails, then contacting afterwards counts as Martial Abyss’ dereliction, for what may transpire in between is unforeseeable.”

”As for how it ultimately resolves, that isn’t for us to consider.”

”Understood.”

Candle Kite nodded, and her figure swiftly faded away.

In the courtyard, only Chi Chenzhou remained.

The pleasure once risen due to that unknown matter completely vanished from his face, and with a step, his figure disappeared from the spot.

...

On the land navigated vessel.

The Third Battle Group fully engaged.

Simultaneously, from within the planet and the Star Sea, various constructed vehicles arrived intermittently to join the mission.

Those vehicles come from other parts of the Pioneer Corps, rushing to aid after receiving news.

In the command center.

Zhou Yutang processed all information, and at this time, beside him, a reporting voice came.

”Battle Group Leader, emergency communication from Corps Headquarters has already been sent to your military personal terminal.”

Hearing this, Zhou Yutang quickly inspected it.
