The Mecha Driver Is a Cultivator

Through the Azure Thunder Profound Halberd, Qin Jin also sensed this suction. After a brief perception, his expression turned slightly solemn: ”This doesn’t seem to be purely the suction caused by a natural disaster; there’s also the influence of other forces.”

As this thought flashed through his mind.

A command sounded again within the public channel.

”Activate Plan No. 3.”

As the words fell.

Within seconds, the manufactured mecha from the Pioneer Corps in the mecha cluster had their Extraordinary Runes shining brightly, with power suddenly surging at this moment!

This power was not meant to attack the enemy but to unite. As the power flowed, the nearest manufactured mechas first completed power interaction, connecting in pairs, and then... more connections formed, the entire deep ocean became a myriad of alternating and overlapping halos of varying sizes, centered on the manufactured mechas. When the largest outer halo shaped up, a defensive barrier rose, significantly reducing the impact on the mechas from the deep-sea vortex.

The Azure Thunder Profound Halberd couldn’t participate in this union, but Qin Jin clearly noticed that the task specialists were located at the center or sub-center of the mecha cluster, and with the connections completed, they were protected within.

The power halo illuminated the deep sea, beginning a slow ascent.

After the power connection, the manufactured mechas, whose numbers can’t be judged by the naked eye, seemed to become a unified power entity. While enhancing defense, the speed inevitably slowed down slightly to maintain stability.

Below, the deep-sea vortex continued to devour everything.

...

At the same time.

Above the sea surface.

The fluorescent sea was no longer as calm as before, waves surged up, and the fluorescent color adhered to the sea and sky, creating a terrifying momentum.

In the command hall of the Land Ark above, the head of the Third Battle Group, who had spoken before the mission began, stood with his body upright, hands on the desk, frowning at the images within the light screen.

His name was Zhou Yutang.

It was he who issued the order on the public channel.

With a slight movement of thought, the communication on the public channel was temporarily closed. He looked at the ascending mecha cluster and glanced sideways: ”What’s happening here?”

”Wasn’t the mysterious energy source in the deep-sea subjected to evaluation and determined to be extremely stable?”

”Why did it suddenly explode?”

As his voice fell, another voice sounded.

”Battle Group Leader, based on the power explosion level for this mission, it should yet be far from [awakening] it.”

”We still don’t know. Our personnel is conducting emergency scrutiny.”

The man he questioned had a fluctuating gaze and spoke seriously: ”We conducted assessments and tests hundreds of times before establishing this mission, confirming that the clearing task could be executed smoothly. Logically, such changes shouldn’t happen.”

”I don’t need your explanation.”

Zhou Yutang glanced at him: ”I need reasons.”

”Even with emergency plans to respond, no serious consequences were caused, but such unforeseen events should not occur within our battle group.”

”We belong to the Pioneer Corps; you should understand what an accident in the Pioneer Corps signifies.”

With a serious sound.

Zhou Yutang turned back, looking again at the light screen.

Within the light screen.

The mecha cluster continued to ascend, slower but stable.

As it ascended, everything outside the power halo in the mecha cluster in the ocean began to sweep downward, unable to resist the massive suction of the deep-sea vortex.

Zhou Yutang stared tightly at all of this.

Alongside the light screen, a series of data was listed.

That data pertains to the current changes in the deep-sea environment.

As the mecha cluster ascended, one piece of data suddenly soared.

”The suction of the deep-sea vortex is still persisting.”

”That mysterious energy source appears to be fully awakened!”

An exclamation sounded within the command hall, and concurrently, within the deep sea, dazzling light suddenly emerged from within the vortex, with mysterious energies surging forth from inside it.

Glittering brilliance flickered, the vortex’s suction didn’t intensify, but within the mecha cluster, at this moment, there was peculiar energy which avoided or penetrated the power halo in a uniquely special way, playing its role internally, extending and infiltrating inside post-penetration, forming transparent cubic peculiar spaces, only the frameworks being substantial power aggregations, isolating from the surroundings. Inside each space were soldiers of the Pioneer Corps clad in manufactured mechas or task specialists piloting their mechas.

Qin Jin and Azure Thunder Profound Halberd were also among them.

The peculiar space formed in an instant, Qin Jin clearly sensed obstructive power appearing instantaneously, though unaware of its purpose, his reaction was remarkably swift, almost without hesitation, as the Azure Thunder Profound Halberd raised the Great Halberd high, Spirit Ruins Grotto Heaven activated, blessing the mecha, a halberd blow descending from the sky directly striking toward one side.

A halberd descended.

Speed extremely fast.

But simultaneously with his halberd cleaving, Qin Jin clearly saw the exterior of the cubic space slightly fluctuate for a split second, then transmitted the Azure Thunder Profound Halberd along with the sea water contained under the space isolation.

The surrounding environment transformed instantly.

Qin Jin’s movement did not stop, the halberd thrusting forth and exploding at the moment above, power erupted with a boom, completely shattering the cubic space, the residual wave of power sweeping forward, echoing booms continuously, everything around directly obliterated, Qin Jin stood with halberd in hand, gazing at the surroundings.
