Shrouding the Heavens

42: Buried Headfirst 42: Buried Headfirst Editor: Atlas Studios Time quickly passed for Ye Fan and Pang Bo.

Four months had already gone by since they had started going to the Spirit Ruins Cliff to listen to the teachings.

Today, the Elder once more bestowed the medicinal liquid on everyone.

The sparkling pure jade bottle wasn’t even two inches tall, and its diameter was less than one inch.

The medicine inside it was truly a small amount.

This dark green medicinal liquid had a special herbal fragrance, and it had quite the good effect on establishing the Sea of Bitterness, saving cultivators time and energy.

It was said this liquid was formed from the refined essence of a hundred medicinal herbs.

It was similar to the Life Qi found in the Wheel of Life and was called the Hundred Herb Liquid.

The lecturing Elder soared into the sky on a divine rainbow, disappearing deeper into the Spirit Ruins Paradise.

Ye Fan and Pang Bo were about to leave now that they had obtained the jade bottle, but just at this moment, a fifteen or sixteen year old teenager walked over and blocked their path.

“Lend me two bottles of Hundred Herb Liquid.” Not saying anymore, he reached his hand out in a grabbing motion, not giving the two of them any opportunity to refuse.

“Who are you?

Why should I give it you?” Pang Bo pushed aside his hand and glared at him.

Ye Fan noticed that the surrounding people all seemed somewhat afraid and they all retreated a bit.

Then, seeing that the teen already had five or six bottles of Hundred Herb Liquid in his hand, he immediately understood that this was a barely concealed robbery.

This teen immediately became cold when his hand was pushed away.

“You dare to glare at me?” Pang Bo and Ye Fan didn’t wish to cause trouble.

All the people here were cultivators, and they had only arrived at the Spirit Ruins Palace for a short time, so they didn’t want to have any conflicts.

Taking a couple steps back, they tried to leave.

“You want to just leave without saying anything?

Did I agree to that?” This teen coldly laughed, and one hand shot out and grabbed Pang Bo’s wrist while the other went to grab the Hundred Herb Liquid in his hand.

Although Pang Bo’s strength wasn’t as great as Ye Fan’s at this time, his strength was still much greater when compared to other cultivators with similar cultivation bases who also hadn’t learned divine mystical arts.

With just a flip of his hand, he sent the youth staggering back, causing him to almost fall onto the ground.

This teen immediately flew into a rage from the humiliation.

“You dare to touch me?!

I’ll make it so you can’t get out of bed for three months!” Just at this moment, another couple of teens walked out of the crowd.

The surrounding people immediately fearfully ran away, apparently recognizing these people.

All of them held six or seven bottles of the Hundred Herb Liquid; obviously they had taken them from others.

These people quickly surrounded Ye Fan and Pang Bo.

The teen who had been pushed back by Pang Bo sneered, “Give them a small lesson; make it so they can’t get out of a bed for three months.” “It really is true that wherever there are people there will be disputes.

Even cultivators are not an exception.” Ye Fan didn’t say anything more after this.

He directly walked forward.

A teen who jumped in front to bar his path was immediately kicked aside by him.

Pang Bo also sneered, “Stealing from people from your own sect.

You really are extremely daring.

If I don’t give you a small lesson here, I don’t know just what kind of evil acts you would commit in the future.” His arm powerfully swept out, sending the surrounding teens all flying.

The surrounding immediately became full of teens rolling on the ground in pain.

“You dare hit me?” This teen who had first started this now had a swelled face as he viciously glared at Ye Fan and Pang Bo.

He quickly got up and ran away to a distant place.

“You guys just wait!” Cultivators who hadn’t connected to their Wheel of Life’s source of divine energy were only a bit stronger than ordinary mortals.

Compared to Ye Fan and Pang Bo, they were no stronger than other mortals.

In the distance, another teenager was talking to an older youth in his twenties beside him.

“Your younger brother truly is a trash.

He just had to go scout them out a bit, but the result was that he lost this much face.” The twenty year old was a bit embarrassed when he heard this, but he seemed to be afraid to say anything to the younger youth beside him.

With a respectful and solemn manner, he asked, “These two appear worthless.

Do you really need to scout them out like this?” “My great uncle wanted me to scout them.

He heard that these two had eaten some sort of divine medicine…” The teenaged youth disdainfully sneered.

“Otherwise they wouldn’t be worth any of my interest at all!” The twenty year old immediately shuddered in fear.

He was terrified of this youth’s great uncle.

“Even if it was a divine medicine, now that they have already eaten it, what does your great uncle want to do with it?” “My great uncle suspects that their bodies still contain a powerful medicinal strength.

When he heard about them, he flew into a rage that he hadn’t heard earlier.” “This…” The youth felt his body coldly tremble.

In a hesitant voice, he asked, “Even if their bodies contain the medicinal strength, isn’t it impossible to extract?” “It can’t be directly extracted, but isn’t it simple to just bleed out their bodies?” The teenager laughed evilly in a way that didn’t match up to his age.

“Even refining their whole bodies…I think my great uncle should have such an intention.” The youth immediately felt an icy coldness.

That old man who liked to refine medicine was completely vicious and cruel.

As an Elder of the Spirit Ruins Paradise, not many people dared to provoke him.

Now that his gaze was on the medicinal strength in those two, they definitely wouldn’t be able to survive.

The youth acted like the youth’s life was in his hands, saying, “Your garbage brother is back now.

Go with him to scout out those two.

See how their physique is and if they’re worth my great uncle using them to refine medicine.” “Ok, I’ll leave immediately.” Ye Fan and Pang Bo were definitely acting very low-key, but someone had still ended up setting their sights on them.

But at this time, they still didn’t know about it.

Squeezing out of the crowd, they were just about to leave when they were once again obstructed.

This young man had specks of light that circulated on his body.

It was obvious that he had already cultivated to the point where he possessed an initial control over mystical arts and could use a part of their divine powers.

“Brothers, you have to help me properly teach them a lesson!” The teen who had caused the trouble viciously glared at Ye Fan and Pang Bo.

The teens surrounding them on the mountain also started to berate them by relying on this support.

“Break their hands and feet and throw them into the pond to feed the fishes.” “Let them kneel on the ground and kowtow their heads on the ground a thousand times.” The youngsters all unceasingly hooted.

By relying on their backer here, they could continuously humiliate and curse Ye Fan and Pang Bo.

Ye Fan frowned.

He naturally wouldn’t get angry over a couple of youths, but he sensed that something was going on, as if someone was purposely provoking him.

“Why did you beat up my little brother like this?” The young man asked, intently staring at Ye Fan and Pang Bo.

“Did you personally see me beat him up?” Pang Bo raised his eyebrows.

Now that it had come to his point, there was no longer a point to enduring.

Even if they were lower their heads and admit to being terrified, this person would definitely still viciously take care of them.

He was obviously just looking for an excuse.

“What do you want?” Ye Fan directly asked.

“Since you’ve beat up my little brother I naturally have to help him vent his anger,” the young man coldly laughed, pressing forward step by step.

Many people were watching them from the distance.

None of them dared to come closer and attempt to reconcile this situation; this cliff’s disciples were all those who had practically just entered the sect.

Seeing the young man with light circulating around his body, they all were too afraid to approach.

“Break their legs and make them kneel!” “Feed them to the fishes!” The youths once more began to holler.

Whoosh.

Light flashed, and the young man charged forward like a monster, his speed reaching his pinnacle.

His palm became sparkling like jade, and it slashed forward like a knife towards Ye Fan’s neck.

This wasn’t his full strength.

In his opinion, this palm-slash should be enough to slash through Ye Fan and have him fall to the ground.

But he never thought that Ye Fan’s reactions would be so quick.

Ye Fan simply took two steps back, easily dodging the attack, and then grabbed onto his hand.

“Let go!” The young man was shocked, but he still didn’t consider Ye Fan a threat.

He used all his strength to try sending Ye Fan flying.

But things were once more out of his expectations.

Ye Fan’s fingers were like claws that had hooked onto his hand, making it impossible for the young man to throw him off.

Bang!

Pang Bo also took action at this time.

His fist smashed into the young man’s back with a huge force that caused everyone to be speechless.

His body was jolted, and traces of blood started flowing out of his mouth.

Ye Fan treated him like a scarecrow, viciously flinging him back and forth before slamming him heavily onto the ground.

BANG!

Dust rose into the air as the ground shook.

The light that had been surrounding the young man’s body immediately disappeared.

He screamed as blood continuously flowed out of his mouth and his body involuntarily convulsed.

Everyone was completely dumbstruck.

They never thought that Ye Fan could manage to knock the young man down onto the ground, especially not in such an easy and efficient manner.

It wasn’t that the young man was weak; after all, he had already started to cultivate some mystical arts, even though he hadn’t even had the opportunity to use them.

The current Ye Fan could already lift several tons with one hand, so it could be said he had a the strength of a dragon.

Such strength was something that ordinary divine mystical arts would have difficulty resisting.

“It was obviously you guys who started everything.

We were just acting in self-defense.

But you actually had the face to say it was us who beat you.

That’s fine, then; how about I make that a reality.” Pang Bo resentfully charged out at high speed.

The other teens wanted to run, but the crowd surrounding them made it impossible for them to make a quick getaway, and so they had no way of avoiding Pang Bo.

Thump, thump, thump… Pang Bo kicked each and every one of them back.

He then used his palm to slap them.

Pow, pow, pow sounds consecutively rang out.

“What did you guys say?

Break our hands and legs, and then throw us into the river to feed the fishes?

Oh, you also said something about making us kneel and kowtow our heads on the ground a thousand times.

I bet you guys are tired of living, right?!” Pang Bo fiercely slapped their faces, causing their entire faces to swell up like a pig.

Screams continued to ring the air.

“Not even possessing a trace of divine power, yet you dare to consider yourselves as tyrants capable of bullying others.

You truly don’t understand the immensity of heaven and earth.

If I don’t properly teach you a lesson today, you guys might really consider yourselves to be Immortals!” Pang Bo stood up, and his feet viciously kicked them, causing more miserable screams.

Pang Bo felt that his spirit was refreshed from doing so, as the more he beat them, the more comfortable he felt.

“Speak, why did you target us?” Ye Fan wasn’t just idly standing by.

He viciously kicked the young man who was now rolling on the ground, his whole body convulsing and blood dribbling from his mouth.

“If you don’t tell us, I’ll bury you head first in the pond!” Ye Fan once more kicked him hard.

His strength was such that the young man was sent flying over eight meters away.

Pang Bo’s face lit up when he heard this.

“Good idea!” He squatted down and forcefully picked up five or six of the teens, carrying them towards the pond.

“NO!

LET ME GO!” “Save me!!

He’s a murderer!” “I’m begging you to let us go!” Pang Bo didn’t listen to them at all.

He viciously threw them into the pond.

The pond was full of weak silt, and with Pang Bo’s huge strength, these few people’s bodies were thrust in headfirst, becoming stuck within the silt.

“Don’t mess around and accidentally take a life…” Ye Fan reminded.

“Don’t worry.

These trash people have all already stepped onto the immortal path.

Although they haven’t cultivated divine mystical arts, their physiques are stronger than others by a lot.

They can survive without breathing for at least an hour.” “Are you going to talk now?

Or do you want to buried in headfirst too?!” Ye Fan once more sent the young man flying.

Pang Bo walked over and said, “Just bury him directly into the pond.

Don’t bother trying to talk with this trash.

If he wants to talk, he’ll talk.” When the young man continued to not say anything, Ye Fan also didn’t waste any more of his words and directly used all his strength to throw him.

The crowd was dumbstruck.

How could he have such a terrifying divine strength?

He was still over forty meters from the lotus pond, but he threw a live person just like a javelin.

Plop.

The young man ended up flying like a javelin, before stabbing into the ground.

Half his body entered the slit, and only his two calves could be seen above, uselessly struggling and kicking.

“What a freak!” “Where did this freak come from?

He looks like a young and tender eleven-year-old, but how does he possess such an insane strength?” The surrounding people were all flabbergasted, quickly beginning to discuss it.

Many people felt like their anger had been relieved, as these few people had truly been annoying and having them taught a lesson was truly appropriate.

Suddenly, a path quickly opened up within the crowd, and a couple terrifying people walked through it.

A fourteen-year old youngster whose expression was gloomy like water slowly walked over.

Several twelve or thirteen-year-old boys followed beside him, all with light flowing across their body.

“That’s Elder Han’s grandson, Han Feiyu…” “His great uncle is also an Elder.

It’s said that he’s an expert at refining medicines.” “Quiet, don’t carelessly say everything that comes to your mind.

A loose tongue brings trouble!” The gloomy-faced fourteen-year-old Han Feiyu slowly arrived in front of them.

To Ye Fan and Pang Bo, he said, “What kind of place do you think the Spirit Ruins Paradise is for you to publicly act so violently?

Do you actually consider yourselves to be enforcement Elders?” Ye Fan and Pang Bo didn’t pay him attention, ignoring him and turning away.

Han Feiyu’s face became even gloomier.

He ordered the four people beside him, “Get them out of my sight!” Ye Fan turned back and said, “You really do talk quite a bit.

Looks like it was you who incited this from behind the scenes.

There are no more words to say.

Today, I will also bury you head first.” Han Feiyu’s eyes turned cold.

In a quiet mutter that only he could hear, he whispered, “Looks like I can only send two corpses back to great uncle…”
