Nexus Ascension: My Comprehension Defies the Heaven

Chapter 651: Getting the Overseer’s Attention

But now everything was beginning to make sense.

The reason his power was slowly being suppressed was because of the suppressed DNA. Since he was using his physical body, and Eterna was also using her own physical body, that suppressive DNA had naturally affected them too.

As a result, it managed to lessen their powers bit by bit.

Grey shifted his attention to the foreign DNA that was trying to affect his own physical body.

Of course, this could be negated by just switching to his energy body. But that wasn’t the point.

Most people here wouldn’t even be able to see him if he didn’t use his physical form since he was a higher dimensional being. The only difference between the physical and energy body was that the physical one could indeed be damaged, like how the suppressive DNA had gotten through to him.

But the physical body was just as strong as the energy body otherwise.

But this was necessary if u wanted to contact lower ranked beings.

In the end, he turned to Eterna and helped her remove the suppressive DNA as well.

But once he removed it, another question appeared.

Where exactly was the suppressive DNA coming from?

First of all, it was definitely related to reality bending. But it should have a source.

Perhaps the source was the Chaos Source Codex itself.

If anything could do something like this, it had to be the Codex. It contained an immense amount of information capable of warping reality on this scale.

He was now more and more certain that this place was where the Chaos Source Codex was hidden.

With the suppressive DNA gone from himself, Grey scanned the entire world.

But he still couldn’t find the Codex.

It was hidden somewhere beyond his current perception.

”Well, for now,” Grey turned to Neumann. ”We will remove the suppression from all the people in this world. Can you make a worldwide announcement about this?”

Neumann nodded without hesitation.

”I can access every communication device on this planet,” she said. ”Give me a moment.”

Her eyes glowed faintly as she connected to the global network.

Within seconds, every phone, every television, every digital screen on Earth displayed the same message.

[ATTENTION ALL CITIZENS

YOUR TRUE POWERS HAVE BEEN SEALED SINCE BIRTH

THE SEAL IS NOW BEING REMOVED

PREPARE YOURSELVES]

People across the world stared at their devices in confusion.

”What the hell is this?” a man in a coffee shop muttered, looking at his phone.

”Some kind of scam?” a woman beside him asked.

”Probably a virus or something,” another person shrugged. ”Just ignore it.”

”This is so stupid,” a teenager laughed. ”True powers? What is this, a movie?”

Nobody believed it.

Grey watched through his expanded consciousness as millions of people dismissed the announcement.

”Looks like people aren’t believing this,” he said with a sigh.

Then he smiled.

”But I can make them believe.”

He shot into the sky, rising above the clouds until he was visible from every corner of the planet.

Then he unleashed his power.

His aura exploded outward, washing over the entire Earth in an instant.

Every single person on the planet sensed him.

They all looked up at the same time, drawn by an irresistible force.

And they saw him.

A young man floating in the sky, radiating power that made their souls tremble.

”Hey guys, I’m seeing some dude in the sky!” someone shouted.

”Are you guys seeing this too?!” another person screamed.

”What the fuck is that?!”

”Is this real?!”

”Am I dreaming?!”

Grey raised his hand.

Terrifying lightning swept across the planet, covering every direction in brilliant arcs of energy. The sky itself seemed to crack open as his power demonstrated what was truly possible.

People couldn’t believe their eyes.

How was such a being doing such a thing?

Some fell to their knees in worship.

”He’s a god!” someone cried out. ”He has to be a god!”

Grey’s voice echoed across the entire world.

”I’m not a god. This is something you guys are also capable of doing. I can help you achieve that.”

Then he began the process.

Power flowed from him and touched every single person on Earth.

Their suppressive DNA shattered simultaneously.

Their seals broke and one by one, their true powers awakened.

Grey was even generous enough to implant basic control knowledge into all of them. He didn’t want billions of people accidentally destroying everything around them.

But something unexpected happened.

The children began changing.

As soon as their powers got released, many of them started growing rapidly. Their small bodies expanded and aged in seconds.

Children transformed into adults.

Some became elderly men and women.

It seemed like these children, at least the majority of them, were not even real children.

They were adults trapped inside children’s bodies or a child’s physical body. With their Origin Core activate, they were back at the way they once looked.

Once the transformation was complete, the entire Earth began crumbling.

The ground shook violently as billions of awakened beings released energy that the planet couldn’t handle.

Grey acted immediately.

He used his power to strengthen the Earth, reinforcing its structure in a way that made it impossible to crumble under the combined might of all these beings.

The planet stabilized within milliseconds.

But then everything froze.

Time itself came to a complete stop.

The world crumbled around the edges of reality, and every single being began glowing with an eerie light.

A terrifying energy descended from above.

Sensing this, Eterna shot into the sky and appeared beside Grey.

”I will fight with you, Grey,” she said firmly.

Grey smiled at her determination.

”Okay Eterna, but don’t worry. I got this in the bag.”

Without hesitation, he unleashed his Nexus Energy.

Purple light exploded from his body, spreading across the frozen world in an instant.

The supreme power of absolute perfection clashed against the descending force.

Grey stared at the sky with a grin as his Nexus Energy completely overpowered the time freeze.

Reality snapped back into motion around him.

The people below looked up in utter confusion.

”What just happened?” someone asked.

”Did time just stop?”

”I couldn’t move at all!”

They saw Grey floating above them, his Nexus Energy radiating in waves that made them feel insignificant.

Even with their personal seals removed, even with their true powers awakened, they felt like ants compared to the being before them.

Then, the world shifted once more and a presence began descending from the sky.

Seeing this, Grey smiled. ”Greetings, Overseer.”
