Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 542  Fate Is Strange

Chloe was full of curiosity. ”Sister, so you got the vice president position you wanted. That should be a happy thing, right? No matter what, Luis helped you out.”

Hela took a deep breath. Watching this scene play out before her eyes, she felt a twinge of sourness.

She thought to herself, maybe her willpower wasnʼt as strong as her sisterʼs. She had been too guilty to go to the Central Garden today, afraid to face her in-laws and also afraid to face Luisʼs wife.

Now, even meeting her daughter-in-law made her feel a bit uncomfortable, which was why she had specifically asked her sister to go in her place today.

But her sister was perfectly at ease, chatting and laughing with the manʼs wife, building a pretty good relationship. Just based on that mental fortitude, Hela felt she had to concede defeat.

”Yeah, he really did help a lot.”

Taking this opportunity to clear the air with her sister was probably for the best. At least this way, if something suddenly happened, their sisterly bond wouldnʼt be damaged over a man.

That bastard was a lecher, and there was nothing she could do about it. Whether his legal wife found out was a problem for another day.

Hela had come to a realization. The biggest source of risk for this wretched man, skillfully juggling a relationship between them, the biggest chance of them being caught in the act, actually came from her own sister, Chloe.

With this thought in mind, Hela took the initiative to speak. ”It wasnʼt just handing over the evidence to keep me safe. He also worked behind the scenes the whole time, helping me find evidence to take down my competitor.”

”Baby, thatʼs amazing!” Chloe beamed with pride, hugging Luis and giving him a kiss.

Hela felt a little pang of jealousy, gritting her silver teeth as she said, ”Really. I was almost at my witʼs end back then, completely helpless against Kai. Honestly, I was mentally prepared to give up.”

”At that point, I even started thinking it didnʼt matter if I became vice president or not. Just being able to protect myself would have been the best outcome.”

Chloe let out a surprised ”Wow,” her face full of admiration. ”Sister, so that means Luis helped you twice.”

”First, he happened to have evidence that could hurt you, and instead of giving it to the other side, he gave it to you, ensuring you were safe.”

”Second, he helped you take down your competitor, letting you get the vice president position you wanted.”

Chloe giggled. ”Sister, you must be really happy about your rapid promotion.”

”You were under so much pressure back then, you looked completely worn out. Your endocrine system was so out of whack your period was a mess, or even stopped. You donʼt know what you were like back then.”

”You were like a powder keg, absolutely fierce and radiating killing intent, a real live shrew...”

Hela couldnʼt help but interrupt her, rolling her eyes. ”Youʼre quite eloquent, arenʼt you? Where do you get all these weird descriptions from?”

”Thatʼs because you donʼt know. Just saying one word to you and youʼd snap at someone. Everyone kept their distance back then.”

Chloe playfully stuck out her tongue. ”Sister, you were like you wanted to eat people alive. Not like now, all glowing and radiant.”

Hela was a bit stunned, thinking it over, as Chloe continued teasing, ”Sister, judging by this, itʼs not an exaggeration to say my man saved your life.”

”I guess so!” Hela said with a wry smile.

That smile confused Chloe. Luis hugged her then, a wicked, mischievous grin on his face. ”Chloe, if someone saves your life, wouldnʼt it be only right to offer your body in return?”

”Of course it would be right, itʼs only natural...”

Chloe stopped mid-sentence as realization dawned. She stared wide-eyed at her sister, then at her own man.

Her usually dignified sister, Hela, was just smiling helplessly, lowering her head to avoid her gaze, showing such a guilty look for the first time.

And when she looked at her man, his smile was lewd and evil, full of that familiar, obscene implication.

Chloe wasnʼt stupid. Stunned, she pointed at her sister, then at her man. ”Sister... you... you two!!”

Luis immediately grabbed her hand, kissing it gently. ”Your sister and I are adults. We were in the same boat, facing danger together. She was under immense pressure.”

”You know her relationship with your brother-in-law isnʼt good. So, some things just happened naturally.”

Chloe was completely dumbfounded, her voice trembling. ”Sister... so... the man who... who made you glow like that... it was him...”

Hela let out a long sigh. The secret was finally out. At this moment, she felt an immense sense of relief.

The two sisters fell silent simultaneously, their breaths quickening. Seeing that they werenʼt angry, Luis lit a cigarette and started smoking.

He carefully observed their reactions. Confirming the situation was still under control, he said calmly, ”Thatʼs right. Your sister was so depressed back then she could hardly cope. I guess it was also a way to vent pressure.”

”Back then... why didnʼt you tell me!” Chloe suddenly yelled, her eyes reddening with unshed tears.

Hela didnʼt know how to explain. Luis, however, was perfectly composed, gently holding her hand. ”How could I have told you? At that time, we had just gone through your husbandʼs ordeal.”

”We lived or died together. You were still traumatized and werenʼt in a good state yourself.”

”And how do you even bring up something like that? Besides, I didnʼt know she was your sister back then.”

”Chloe, letʼs be fair. After we got together, how long was it before we even knew about this connection?”

”Well...” Chloe couldnʼt argue. Looking at the timeline, it was true.

Luis continued, ”Chloe, thatʼs why I say fate is strange sometimes. Meeting both you sisters were beautiful mistakes, right?”

Chloe looked weakly at her sister, not knowing what to say for a moment.

In fact, her sisterʼs thoughts were probably similar to hers. Calculating the timing, both sisters believed it was a beautiful misunderstanding.

After all, neither of them believed in the existence of such an incredible thing as a System. Besides, they didnʼt tell each other everything. Shame and reserve made them hide things from each other.

Her sister Hela certainly wouldnʼt dare say she was threatened at first, trained like a slut, taken in every hole until she climaxed repeatedly, and only succumbed after being thoroughly fucked into submission.

Dignity, saving face, traditional reserve... even between real sisters, some things are just too hard to mention.

Their psychology now was strange. They didnʼt feel the need to confront Luis about this absurd situation of having both sisters. Not at all.

On the contrary, they were both worried that in a moment of excitement, this man might let something slip, revealing secrets that would make them lose all face. So, their attitude became strangely hesitant and timid.

Deep down, shame and tradition were at play. Their first reaction to this absurdity wasnʼt anger at being fooled, because looking at the timeline, everything was coincidence, or fate.

All they felt was the awkwardness of not knowing how to face it, helplessness, and utter disorientation.

They were both panicked, silent, and without a word, they secretly glanced at the man they shared. Over this time, they had gotten used to seeing him as their pillar of strength.
