Lust System: Harem Of Beautiful Women

Chapter 540  Scolding!!

Previously, when Luis talked about seducing her sister and such, even if Hela didnʼt take it as a joke, she still thought that with her sister being so infatuated with her own lover, there was no way he would succeed.

Chloeʼs heart raced with panic, and a hint of fear even showed on her face. She quickly hugged her sisterʼs arm, forcing an embarrassed smile as she said, ”Sis, come here. Let me explain it to you.”

With that, she dragged her sister, who was completely dumbfounded, over to the dining table and sat her down.

Like a child who had done something wrong, Chloe stood before her sister, head bowed, and timidly began to explain.

Of course, she dared not mention the time her assets were frozen and she had to sell her body. Even if it was just once, and the most beautiful encounter, if her sister found out, she would definitely be scolded mercilessly.

So the story definitely needed to be beautified, with the focus on the natural progression of a passionate love affair.

Not knowing she was Nancyʼs sister-in-law at first, and only discovering it after they had been together for a long time, that was a key point she had to explain.

As for all the things that man had told her, she had bragged about them to her sister countless times already, and this time she had to repeat them properly.

Hela still couldnʼt snap out of it at this point, and asked with a headache, ”Youʼve been together that long?”

”Yeah, I didnʼt know he was Nancyʼs brother-in-law back then, and weʼd never met before. We only found out by accident later...”

Chloeʼs voice was very low. After speaking, she looked at her sister guiltily, her nervous and uneasy manner pitifully endearing.

”That long, huh?”

Hela suddenly felt a bit uncomfortable in her heart. Looking at the timeline, her sister had gotten together with him earlier. If that was the case, then wasnʼt she the one in the wrong?

That bastard had blatantly said he was threatening her before, that he was after her body. Actually, she had secretly been pleased by her own allure.

Now, what she was concerned about was whether Luis had planned this all along, already preparing to take both sisters.

But she would never believe that this man had the ability to manipulate everything so effortlessly. She couldnʼt even imagine that the root of this whole tangled affair could be so absurd.

It started with her daughter-in-law, who took her lover, who was also someone elseʼs brother-in-law, to hire a prostitute, and the prostitute they hired turned out to be her own sister.

Even if she knew the truth now, she couldnʼt possibly believe it. It was too ridiculous.

Hela asked, ”So, when did you find out he was Nancyʼs brother-in-law?”

Chloe obediently stated the time. Hela calculated that by then she was already completely lost to this man, so he probably hadnʼt planned it deliberately.

While she was still stunned, Luis had already walked out with the dishes, saying with a smile, ”Letʼs eat first. We can talk while we eat.”

”Sis, letʼs eat first!” Chloe also said pitifully, ”Luis prepared this specially. Try his cooking, itʼs really good.”

As she spoke, she eagerly ladled her sister a bowl of chicken soup, then said, ”This is soup made from an old hen, itʼs especially delicious.”

Luis was completely at ease, playing the host. He took out some XO from the liquor cabinet and poured some for both of them.

Chloe was still breastfeeding, so she didnʼt drink. Luis handed the glass to Hela, and said softly with a smile, ”Try my cooking first. I havenʼt cooked in a while either.”

Hela was furious, but she suppressed her temper and took a sip of the soup.

Right now, she was at a loss, her mind in a complete turmoil, not knowing what to do at all. Especially when facing her sister, she felt terribly guilty.

She was even angrier at this bastard for toying with both of them, but she couldnʼt exactly say she hated him. What made her most angry was that he had kept it from her for so long.

As she tasted it, the chicken soup was incredibly fresh and tender, with a unique, refreshing aroma of Radix Fici Simplicissimae that was soothing.

Strangely, a spark of anger rose within her. Or rather, a pang of jealous envy, which startled even herself.

She had never eaten any food cooked by this bastard, yet her sister had that blessing. Suddenly feeling jealous of her own sister from a womanʼs perspective made Hela feel even stranger.

”Try this.”

Luis put a piece of spare rib on her plate, and said softly with a smile, ”We can talk about anything while we eat.”

The five dishes and one soup were all home-style cooking, but the color, aroma, and taste were all good. There were the fermented soy bean spare ribs that Chloe liked, a dish of stir-fried free-range eggs with pork belly, and another of stir-fried crab with ginger and spring onion.

There was the old hen soup with Radix Fici Simplicissimae, and considering the nutritional needs, he had also specially steamed a barramundi. For a home-style meal, it was quite lavish.

If Ruth found out that half of her old hen had been given to his mistress, she would probably want to skin Luis alive.

Hela ate silently, then took another sip of wine to calm herself down.

Luis was particularly pleased with her reaction. As expected of a strong woman who had weathered many storms. She was probably feeling awkward and displeased inside, but at least she wasnʼt making a scene like a shrew.

Chloe, on the other hand, found it a bit strange. Why had her usually dominant sister suddenly become so quiet? Normally, she should be cursing up a storm by now.

And her man, well... he was also acting particularly strange.

Normally, her sister was the elder. Figuring it from Nancyʼs side, she was from the older generation. It was possible that she was truly angry and would make a big deal out of it.

But her man acted as if he had nothing to fear, completely at ease and not seeming nervous at all. Instead, he wore a slight smile, as if he felt no pressure whatsoever.

His mental fortitude was too strong... strong enough to be incomprehensible to Chloe.

Hela clinked glasses with Luis and said in a deep voice, ”Have you two ever considered what would happen if his wife found out? Both our families would be in complete chaos.”

”Not to mention anything else, knowing Nancyʼs personality, if she found out about this, she would never let it go!!”

Faced with such an accusation, anyone with even a shred of guilt wouldnʼt know how to respond. To put it bluntly, she was standing on the moral high ground.

Hela didnʼt know what to do. Instinctively, she looked pitifully towards her man. She was now completely used to having a pillar of support to rely on.

Seeing that look made Helaʼs heart ache, and she knew that her sister was utterly devoted to this man.

Unable to contain her anger any longer, Hela continued, ”Have you two even thought about how our families would get along if this came to light?”

”How would Luisʼs wife react? How would Daniel and the others look down on you, being the older generation? We would be completely disgraced, and there would be no way to explain it.”

At this outburst, tears welled up in Chloeʼs eyes. Biting her silver teeth, she lowered her head and dared not retort.
