Chapter 1026: Insane Without Breaking Rules

BANG!

The pillar killed a Peak Primal Demon and consumed its Beast Core. Moments later, Energy gathered around its body.

BANG!

The Energy in the surroundings turned chaotic as the process of advancement started. At least, thatʼs what it looked like.

In truth, Kyle was just no longer restricting his Energy absorption. Without restrictions, his passive Energy absorption was insanely fast.

When Kyle triggered the advancement, nothing had happened. There had been no storm of Energy, which was why he had to create it artificially. The reason was that the pillar was an Elemental, not a Demon. It was also a human, but Kyle decided to treat it as an Elemental. After all, he had no idea how he was supposed to compress the pillarʼs Center. He was its Center.

When Elementals advanced, they didnʼt draw in more Energy. Their composition simply changed to a more advanced one, allowing them to absorb more Elemental Energy.

All of the eight Elements shone around the pillar as Kyle dumped his own Elemental Energy into it. If he hadnʼt done that, the pillar would shrink.

From an outsiderʼs perspective, it looked like the pillar was experimenting with its Elements while advancing. In truth, the Minor Elements it was made of turned into Gravity Elements.

The surroundings started to shake violently, and some of the mountains broke into pieces before flying towards the Elemental.
ʼFuck, right!ʼ Kyle thought with some panic. ʼLiving beings are made of the Elements. Theyʼre only partially made of Time, Space, and Gravity Energy! The Gravity Elements are made of Elemental Energy, but they also contain a considerable amount of Gravity Energy, which is not part of regular life!ʼ

ʼI have to find a way to deal with the attraction!ʼ

Kyleʼs mind went through countless possibilities and plans. He couldnʼt just absorb the Gravity Elemental Energies. Well, he could, but that wouldnʼt stop his pillar from attracting stuff. If he wanted to get rid of the attractive force, he would need to consume the pillar.

After some calculations, Kyle found a way to deal with the attraction.

He took out one of the remaining Gravity Comprehension Fruits and consumed it. Moments later, he used his insights into the Gravity Laws to create Gravity Energy with the aspect of Gravitational Repelling.

The amount of Gravity Energy in the surroundings doubled, but at the same time, the objects stopped flying towards the pillar. Half of the dense Gravity Energies used attractive forces, while the other half used repelling forces. This created a delicate equilibrium.

From the outside, everything looked normal, but inside the pillar, space was warping as the Gravity Energies fought with each other. It was like a concentrated and powerful river of water, which was created by an acid river and a base river meeting.

ʼThis is probably not the most optimal solution, but it works,ʼ Kyle thought as he watched his warping surroundings. ʼSeems like I need to get more Gravity Comprehension Fruits. I need enough to last me around 6,000 years. So, 120 fruits. Shouldnʼt be too difficult.ʼ

Kyle looked at his warping surroundings. ʼAlso, maybe this isnʼt so bad. Such a gravitational display might improve my insights in the Laws of Gravity.ʼ

ʼAnyway, I should go all the way to the Peak Crusher Realm.ʼ

The pillar went further towards the east, killing several Demons on its path.

The pillar slowly rose in level, and Kyle intensified the repelling gravity.

While all of this was happening, Kyle was also experimenting with several Essences. Since he had to look at Level Five Laws next, he needed enough power to rival Sage Demons. Due to the gigantic gulf between the Sixth and Seventh Realms, this was easier said than done. The only way Kyle could bridge part of the gap was by infusing the pillar with Essences.

ʼI have to make it insanely outstanding without directly breaking the rules. The sad part is just...ʼ

ʼThatʼs impossible.ʼ

ʼWith all of my bonuses and improvements, I can only win against Initial Sage Demons, at most. If I really push the rules, I could sell the fact that the pillar Essence Fused all Minor Elements to create eight Level 3.5 Laws. Half of them go into the body, while half of them go into the beast core. Thatʼs two Infused Level Five Laws. That will allow me to kill Early Sage Demons, and I might even have a small chance against Mid Sage Demons.ʼ

ʼHowever, Late Sage Demons would be impossible to beat. On the other hand, fusing all of the Elements up to and including Gravity Elements would create two Level Six Laws, but how the fuck am I supposed to sell that? Yeah, this is a Crusher Demon, and it has Laws that rival the Laws of the strongest human Ascendants.ʼ

ʼI mean, I could enter the Elemental Dimension and hide inside my Elemental. Itʼs just that it will become impossible to get back safely. I would be locked in. Even if I wanted to do that, I also need Star Genesis and Sebastian. I need to know how to circumvent the Formation Arrays.ʼ

Kyle kept thinking about a plan, but no matter how much he thought about it, it was just impossible. There was no way he could beat Late Sage Demons.

ʼWell, I guess I have to try my best. Maybe I can weasel my way into a Level Five Law Well? As far as I know, Level Five Law Wells are defended by Ascendant Demons. Humanity said so. If I can show my power to the Ascendant Demon, I might still get an opportunity.ʼ

Kyle sent the pillar to different Law Wells for Gravity Elements. He wanted to make it seem like the pillar still needed to comprehend their Laws. While he was doing that, he also started combining all the different Essences.

All eight Level One Essences.

All eight Level Two Essences.

All eight Level Three Essences.

Instead of infusing the non-existent Beast Core, Kyle decided to dump everything into the pillarʼs body.

Two Level 3.5 Laws made an extremely powerful Level Four Law, which was basically between a Level Four and Level 4.5 Law.

Two of those made a weak Level Five Law, and two of those made an average Level 5.5 Law.

Sadly, Crusher Demons only knew the Minor Law of Body, which meant the final Level was just a good 5.5.

Thankfully, Kyle had a lot of experience when it came to mixing all of these small Essences. He only needed around 800 years to finish the Level 5.5 Law.

When he was done, he sent the pillar towards the east. Its speed had become much faster, but the distance it had to traverse had also increased tremendously.

After a while, the pillar also became a Peak Crusher Elemental, reaching its maximum potential.

There was no way Kyle could improve the pillarʼs power any further without including Level Four Laws.

The stage was set.

ʼNow, it all depends on the Ascendant Demon. I will definitely garner a lot of attention. I just hope that this doesnʼt end up breaking my neck.ʼ
