Strongest Hammer God

Chapter 1175: Abyss Hammer

Red and Blue were inside the basic room in Wildʼs Summit while Green, objectively the worst Avatar, had to learn more about the city.

Red took out a rapidly spinning crystal from his Soul Space and gave it to Blue. At this point, it was important to explain that Avatars did not share a Soul Space. Each Avatar had its own Soul Space. This meant that Kyle couldnʼt transfer objects between his Avatars as long as they were not within the range of each otherʼs Divine Consciousness.

Blue took hold of the spinning crystal and looked at it for a moment. This was the Time Compressor. Kyle could feel a chaotic storm of Time Energy washing through the Time Compressor.

A moment later, Blueʼs Energy moved into the Time Compressor. The crystalʼs spinning slowed down to a tenth of its speed, but at the same time, a round barrier expanded past the two Avatars.

From an outsiderʼs perspective, the Time Compressor was spinning just as quickly, but to the Avatars it seemed like the spinning had slowed.

ʼSo, this is how a Time Compressor works,ʼ Kyle thought. ʼIt contains a great amount of Time Energy, which it uses to speed up the time in an area around it. The greater the affected area, the more Time Energy it uses.ʼ

Kyleʼs perception focused on Green as he furrowed his brows. ʼIt feels strange. Green is not affected by the Time Compressor while the other two Avatars are. That feels so weird. Itʼs like Green is a dumb idiot while the other two are super smart. Everything feels so slow whenever I focus on Green.ʼ

There were two ways to affect time. Time could be affected objectively and subjectively.

Objectively manipulating time represented affecting the time in oneʼs surroundings. Energy flowed and transformed much faster or slower. Objects moved faster or slower. People thought and acted faster or slower.

Subjectively manipulating time represented affecting oneʼs perception and existence. This would not change the flow of time in the surroundings. Objectively manipulating time was much better than subjectively manipulating time since the objective manipulation also included subjective manipulation. A person inside an altered space of time would think and move faster or slower.
However, subjectively manipulating time cost far less Energy than objectively manipulating time. The Time Compressor was objectively manipulating time. Everything inside of Kyleʼs room was moving at ten times its usual speed. In a way, it was like being inside a Primary World.

Sadly, comprehending Pure Laws with a Time Compressor was almost impossible since the Time Compressor messed with reality. Laws and Energies were designed to work with reality as it was defined by the Cosmos.

Increasing the voltage of a current going through a CPU by ten times didnʼt mean that it would calculate at ten times its speed. Assuming it didnʼt get fried, the CPU would not deliver many meaningful results since it was not designed to handle such a high voltage.

The reason why Primary Worlds could support this level of speed was that their realities were designed to work this way. There were plenty of rules and mechanisms involved in keeping the Energy inside Primary Worlds stable.

After looking at the Time Compressor for a bit, Red took out the Universe Connector.

ʼI want a Refined Law consisting of the Law of Primordial Forces and the Minor Law of Death. Including the Minor Law of Death isnʼt difficult since itʼs not exactly complicated, but itʼs also not very powerful.ʼ

ʼFor now, I shouldnʼt involve the Minor Law of Death since I donʼt know how it will affect the Universe Connector. I donʼt want it to break.ʼ

Red split his Refined Law of Death into its components. Then, he took his raw Imposing Law and pushed it into the Universe Connector.

The crystalline stone shone with a silver light, and waves of Energy washed through the room.

Next, Red pushed his Law of Primordial Forces into the Universe Connector, but as soon as the Energy reached the Universe Connector, it was repelled. The Universe Connector was already filled with a kind of Energy, and it couldnʼt accept another kind of Energy.

Red split the logic of his Law of Primordial Forces and created a whirlpool around the Universe Connector. Different parts of the Lawʼs logic interacted with different parts of the Universe Connector, and almost immediately, Red saw some progress.

Several concepts passed through the outer barrier of the Universe Connector and combined with the Energies inside of it.

After moving almost all of the concepts over one part of the Universe Connector, Kyle found five concepts that were compatible with this part of the Universe Connector.

ʼDude, this is crazy!ʼ Kyle thought as Red watched the Universe Connector. ʼI wouldʼve needed to put all of the concepts in there one by one! This wouldʼve taken me seconds! Just now, I got the answer to all of my experiments within a tenth of a second! It gets rid of all of the boring busywork but leaves the complicated tasks untouched. This is amazing!ʼ

ʼI can actually comprehend Laws faster without cannibalizing the experience gained by comprehending one!ʼ

Kyle pushed more concepts into the Universe Connector, and he quickly got even more information.

After just a couple of minutes, he even stopped focusing on Green. Comprehending Laws like this barely left any focus for other tasks.

Time passed, and Kyle kept experimenting with the Universe Connector. At some point, the Universe Connector started to become somewhat finicky. Sometimes, it accepted too much Energy, and Kyle had to dispel the Energy manually when that happened.

The edge the Universe Connector gave Kyle became less pronounced, and as more time passed, it only got worse.

Eventually, the Universe Connector stopped working. It had lost its crystalline sheen and looked more like a regular stone.

ʼI guess thatʼs it,ʼ Kyle thought as Red looked at the depleted Universe Connector.

Then, Red looked at his Refined Law. ʼItʼs not done yet, but weʼre like 85% there. The hardest part is done.ʼ

Kyle continued his experimentation, and since his focus was no longer completely occupied, Green could also interact with the city, but for now, Green would just watch.

Eventually, Kyle finished his new Refined Law, but he didnʼt celebrate yet. He still had to include the Minor Law of Death.

The concepts of his Refined Law split up, and the concepts of the Minor Law of Death joined them. The Minor Law of Death didnʼt even have a thousandth of the number of concepts the Refined Law had.

After just a bit of experimentation, Kyle finished his newest Refined Law. Since he only had two Imposing Laws, he could only access two Refined Laws at a time. Splitting a Refined Law and rebuilding a different one took several seconds. Doing that during a battle was impossible.

ʼI have three Refined Laws now,ʼ Kyle thought. ʼHonestly, I think I should give them better names.ʼ

ʼMy first Refined Law uses the Major Law of Death. A good name would be Death Hammer.ʼ

ʼSince my second Refined Law is a Soul Attack based on Karma, I should call it Karmic Hammer.ʼ

ʼMy latest Refined Law uses the Minor Law of Death and the Law of Primordial Forces. It can manipulate reality and has a corrosive effect. I think Abyss Hammer fits.ʼ

ʼFor now, I should keep my Death Hammer inactive. Using the Major Law of Death is exceptionally risky. If even one guy finds out, the entire Cosmos might try to get rid of me.ʼ

Kyle focused on Red, Blue, and Green. ʼYou guys will be the Karmic Hammer Team.ʼ

Kyle focused on Black, White, and Grey. ʼYou guys will be the Abyss Hammer Team.ʼ

A moment later, Kyle looked at the time and date.

ʼThis barely took me 10,000 years, which means there are still 60,000 years left until our first excursion starts. The Karmic Hammer Team will stay in the city and learn more about the Immortal Dimension.ʼ

Kyle focused on the Abyss Hammer Team. ʼSince I have a good cover now, the Abyss Hammer Team can finally become active.ʼ

ʼItʼs time for the Abyss Hammer Team to join the Cult again!ʼ
