Nine Dragons Saint Ancestor

”In theory, this method is feasible, but as for how exactly, I am not certain, perhaps, we could give it a try!”

The Vice Chairman spoke with some hesitation, yet decisively turned and walked out, followed by a few people who exchanged glances and promptly understood.

The elderly man with white hair hurried to catch up, speaking somewhat excitedly, ”Vice Chairman, are you planning to visit the Xuanyin Palace again? You should know that we’ve failed several times already!”

The Xuanyin Palace mentioned by the elder is an extremely powerful sect on the Tenglong Continent, with overall strength not even slightly weaker than that of the Meridian Refining Master Guild, and in certain aspects, even stronger.

He asked this because he knew that the sole beloved daughter of the Master of Xuanyin Palace was suffering from Innate Pulse Cutting, unable to cultivate Meridian Qi since birth.

For the massive Xuanyin Palace, this was absolutely unacceptable. Moreover, as the only beloved daughter of the Master of Xuanyin Palace, over a decade had passed, and despite the sect spending vast amounts of resources, there had been no improvement.

The Meridian Refining Master Guild had many Medical Pulse Masters, so it was natural that the Xuanyin Palace would not pass up their aid; however, after numerous attempts over the years, the outcome remained the same, even the Guild Chairman was at a loss facing the Innate Pulse Cutting.

Although Innate Pulse Cutting does not lead to immediate death, as time goes by and the patient ages, the needed energy increases, and if numerous nutrients and energy cannot be transported through the meridians, the eventual result is that the patient’s muscles waste away, and their veins shrivel up, leaving them to lie in bed like a living corpse.

Generally speaking, for patients with Innate Pulse Cutting, twenty years of age is a crucial threshold; with the Master’s daughter about to reach this limit, even the Meridian Refining Master Guild could sense the gloomy atmosphere of the Xuanyin Palace.

”No matter what, we must at least try it!”

The Vice Chairman didn’t pay too much attention to the elder’s concerns and led several others out. With the help of a Flying Pulse Demon, they reached the gates of Xuanyin Palace in less than half a day.

The Xuanyin Palace guards, recognizing the High-level Meridian Refining Masters who had visited several times, did not dare to neglect and promptly led them to a serene courtyard.

For the Vice Chairman and his group, it was a familiar path, and upon entering the courtyard, they saw a middle-aged man with a majestic appearance but a constant trace of hidden worry between his brows.

”Greetings to Master Xue!”

The Vice Chairman quickly advanced a few steps upon seeing the man; evidently, he was the Master of the Xuanyin Palace, an eminent figure of status equal to the Guild Chairman, and not to be treated lightly.

”Ah, Vice Chairman Qian, and everyone else, have you found a method to cure my daughter’s illness?” Master Xue turned around, his eyes brightening at the thought of a possibility, but then dimmed again, suspecting it might just be another case of clutching at straws.

People know their own family affairs, and for over a decade, Master Xue had been deeply concerned about his beloved daughter’s Innate Pulse Cutting. As the saying goes, a long illness makes the patient a good doctor; even though he wasn’t a Meridian Refining Master himself, he had a profound understanding of the horror of Innate Pulse Cutting.

On the Tenglong Continent, his daughter wasn’t the only one who had suffered from Innate Pulse Cutting. Others afflicted with it had lived in dismal conditions, confined to their beds, with some even taking their own lives out of despair.

”We won’t hide it from Master Xue, we do have a method in mind this time, but we are not entirely sure it will work,” said Vice Chairman Qian truthfully, and then they saw Master Xue slightly step aside to open the door of the room behind him. A thick medicinal scent wafted out, likely from Miss Xue’s boudoir.

The members of the Meridian Refining Master Guild did not hesitate and walked straight into the room. Although they had been there before, the situation they saw this time was different.

”Alas, months have passed, and my daughter’s body ultimately still couldn’t sustain it,” Master Xue, who followed them into the room, swept his gaze over the figure on the bed, his eyes filled with tender and sorrowful affection as he sighed, outlining Miss Xue’s condition.

While twenty years of age is a significant milestone, it’s not absolute; for instance, Miss Xue hadn’t reached the age of twenty, but her body was so frail that she could only lie in bed.

Without any unforeseen change, perhaps Miss Xue, who held a status akin to a princess, would have to spend her life like this—the pain might even be worse than death itself.

”It seems the situation is more serious than we anticipated!” Vice Chairman Qian furrowed his brows but, thinking of the method revealed on the stone wall earlier, suddenly felt a surge of confidence and said, ”Let’s begin!”

As his words fell, several elders from the Meridian Refining Master Guild moved into position and each extended a finger to key acupoints on Miss Xue’s head, both hands, and feet.

Not until each elder was in place did Vice Chairman Qian take several deep breaths, swiped across his waist, and several medicinal ingredients were summoned forth; then the Ancestral Vein Fire rose, and the medicinal ingredients transformed into droplets of medicine liquid.

”””

”This is... Earth Rank Middle Level herbs?”

Master Xue, though not a Meridian Refining Master, had seen much of the world and could recognize the grade of those few herbs at a glance; all of them reached Earth Rank Middle Level.

However, Tenglong Continent is not Hidden Dragon Continent. Over the years, not to mention herbs of Earth Rank Middle Level, even those of Heavenly Rank had been obtained by Master Xue, yet they ultimately had no effect whatsoever on his beloved daughter’s Innate Pulse Cutting.

With Vice Chairman Qian’s Meridian Refining Technique, combined with the Ancestral Vein Fire, melting a few Earth Rank Middle Level herbs would not take much time at all. However, when Master Xue saw his next move, his eyelids couldn’t help but twitch.

Without any hesitation, Vice Chairman Qian directly poured the drops of medicine liquid into Miss Xue’s delicate mouth. Wouldn’t such a forceful medicinal impact directly kill the frail Miss Xue?

When Master Xue had obtained Heavenly Rank herbs in the past, he also invited many Meridian Refining Masters and spent a lot of time to refine them into some gentle, acceptable elixirs before daring to administer them to Miss Xue.

After all, Miss Xue with her Innate Pulse Cutting could not withstand too much shock. Vice Chairman Qian’s actions, how could it not cause him unfathomable worry?

But Master Xue also knew that Vice Chairman Qian was always cautious and would not do anything without confidence, though if he knew that the Vice Chairman had only inadvertently learned of this method and just wanted to try it out, perhaps he wouldn’t think so.

Boom!

The consequence of administering raw, unmitigated herbs to a patient with Innate Pulse Cutting, who had no cultivation and was even weaker than an ordinary person, can be easily imagined.

A loud sound of an energy fluctuation was heard, and Master Xue, not far away, seemed to be able to sense the aura emanating from his daughter’s body. It appeared that the medicinal properties of the Earth Rank Middle Level herbs had erupted.

Puff puff puff...

The next moment, Master Xue heard a strange sound again, and he nearly lost control, almost killing the Meridian Refining Masters on the spot.

Because Miss Xue’s exposed palms and cheeks had burst open at that moment, with fresh blood splattering and looking grotesquely terrifying.

Had Master Xue not been in a high position for many years, he might have erupted right then. With his body slightly trembling, Vice Chairman Qian remained composed, his fingers moving continuously, as he repeatedly pressed on Miss Xue’s lower abdomen.

In fact, not only was Miss Xue’s exposed skin ripped apart, but also the skin hidden under her clothes was a blurry mess, and her meridians, were at that moment, fragmented and in dire straits.

If Vice Chairman Qian hadn’t already known about this outcome from the writing on that wall, he probably would have fled in panic. No other Meridian Refining Masters present could bear the wrath of Master Xue.

”Elders, you must protect all vital points with the utmost care!”

Vice Chairman Qian’s voice let out a loud shout, and then his hands moved fluidly like drifting clouds and flowing water, from Miss Xue’s Baihui Acupoint on her head all the way down to the Yongquan Acupoints on the soles of her feet.

It seemed as if he had expended an enormous effort, and when this movement was completed, a white mist emerged from Vice Chairman Qian’s head, indicating Meridian Qi being pushed to its limit.

”Whew...”

Only after he withdrew his hands from Miss Xue’s feet, did Vice Chairman Qian let out a long breath. Then, a miraculous scene unfolded, calming down Master Xue, who had been conflicted about whether to intervene.

Miss Xue’s skin, which had just burst open, was healing before their eyes at a visible rate. That was clearly observable, and what couldn’t be seen was that the shattered meridians also seemed to be reconnecting at that moment, as if reborn.

”Destruction before reconstruction, this is true destruction and reconstruction, we have... succeeded!”

The nearby Vice Chairman Qian, feeling the meridians knitting back together and so different from before, couldn’t help but be overwhelmed with joy.

If at the beginning Vice Chairman Qian was also just trying a desperate remedy without any certainty, then at this moment, he truly felt success was within reach.

At this moment, Vice Chairman Qian was extremely curious about the origin of the script above that wall; how could such a sage exist on such a small Hidden Dragon Continent?

After a short while, the skin on Miss Xue’s face and hands had already returned to its original state, looking even more rosy than before and no longer like she was in a dying, breathless state.

Huff... Huff...

At one point, the air within the room suddenly became chaotic, with countless energy particles swarming toward the bed as if drawn by something, creating an impressive and astonishing momentum.

”This... this is...”
