Zhang Fei - The Abandoned Son

Chapter 108: Golden Monkey

When Zhang Fei was on his way to the golden monkeyʼs location, a muscular man with cuts on his face walked into a coffee shop, then he walked up to a man and woman sitting side by side and sat directly in front of them. ”Why did you call me to come here in such a hurry, Zhang He? And what happened to your arm?”

Zhang He answered the manʼs question with a bitter smile. ”Brother-in-law, this is because of Zhang Fei; he is the one who made my hands like this.”

”Zhang Fei? That weak guy? Wasnʼt he already abandoned by your parents?” The muscular man asked with a raised eyebrow. His name was Chen Hong, and he was Chen Xinʼs big brother.

”Itʼs a long story, Big Brother.” Chen Xin sighed. ”The current Zhang Fei is different from the past; I donʼt know how he changed so drastically, but he is now very strong, so we want you to help us get rid of him.”

Chen Hong raised his eyebrows; he didnʼt believe that Zhang Fei could change so drastically. ”Thatʼs-”

*Ring...*

Suddenly, Chen Hongʼs smartphone rang; he looked surprised when he saw the name of the caller, and it made him wonder. He immediately received the call and looked very serious while listening to the callerʼs explanation. Then he looked at Zhang He and Chen Xin and answered the caller. ”Okay, I will help you this time. It just so happens that my little sister also has a problem with that Zhang Fei.”

”Does your friend also have a problem with Zhang Fei, Big Brother?” Chen Xin asked after Chen Hong hung up his phone.

Chen Hong nodded to his little sister. ”I didnʼt expect that weak guy to be so strong now; he could even beat up five people at once.”

They gawked upon hearing that, and they couldnʼt believe that Zhang Fei was stronger than they thought; then Zhang He asked. ”What does your friend want to do, Brother-in-Law?”

Chen Hong smiled at him and explained his plan to them, and after quite a while, they immediately left the cafe to meet some people.

Just when those people were planning to do their bad deeds, Zhang Fei had already arrived at Cho Oyu Mountain. He could see many people who were camping on the mountain.

Mei suddenly said. [Fly towards the back of the mountain, Master. I detected a concealing and barrier formation there, and the location of the golden monkey is within that formation.]

”Okay.” Zhang Fei immediately flew in the direction she pointed, but he still couldnʼt see anything. Then he stretched out his hand, and he was quite surprised because his hand touched an invisible wall. ”So this is the formation youʼre referring to, Mei?”

[Yes, master! You should land first and change your form to Heavenly Fox. Otherwise, you canʼt pass through this formation.]

Zhang Fei nodded and landed right on the edge of the formation, and he transformed himself into a Heavenly Fox, then he walked leisurely through the formation.

Zhang Feiʼs eyes widened as he entered the formation, because inside was an ancient temple, and in the center of the ancient temple was a huge golden Buddha statue. ʼWhereʼs the golden monkey, Mei? Why canʼt I see it?ʼ

Mei chuckled. [The golden monkey is in the hands of the golden Buddha statue, and it is looking at you angrily, Master.]

ʼScan it, Mei.ʼ

[Okay.]

Zhang Feiʼs eyes gleamed as he read Jin Yuanʼs status; despite being only a quasi-divine beast, her abilities were truly extraordinary, and he was eager to take her on as his beast contract.

Zhang Fei turned himself into a half-fox and stared at the hands of the golden Buddha statue, as he said. ”I know youʼre up there, Jin Yuan. You donʼt need to hide from me; I donʼt mean any harm to you.”

[Dodge to the side, Master!]

Zhang Fei was taken aback by Meiʼs shout, and he immediately dodged to the side.

*Bam*

A stone stalactite stuck where Zhang Fei was standing earlier, and he smiled seeing that because Jin Yuan was also able to hide her attack.

*Bam... Bam...*

However, Jin Yuan attacked him continuously. Although Zhang Fei couldnʼt see her attack directly, he had a god cheat in Meiʼs form, so he could dodge all of her attacks so easily.

*Bam... Bam... Bam... *

”Hey, stop your attacks, I already told you that I have no malicious intent towards you.” Suddenly, Mei said something to him, and he tried to persuade Jin Yuan. ”Anyway, I know your cultivation can no longer increase; if you are willing to make a contract with me, I will take you to another realm, where you can resume your cultivation.”

Sure enough, after Zhang Fei said that, Jin Yuan immediately stopped attacking him. She appeared in the hands of the huge golden Buddha statue, and then she asked doubtfully. ”Are you really able to take me to another realm?”

Zhang Fei just smiled at her and asked Mei to open a portal to the Sky Jade Realm, and Jin Yuanʼs eyes immediately lit up as soon as she felt a gust of Qi from behind the portal.

Jin Yuan immediately ran towards the portal, but just as she was about to jump in, Mei immediately closed the portal, causing her to fall forward.

”You really are cunning, Jin Yuan.” Zhang Fei chuckled at that and crouched down in front of her, who was rubbing her head. ”I will only take you to another realm if you are willing to make a contract with me, but donʼt worry, I will not treat you badly.”

Jin Yuan looked at Zhang Fei doubtfully, especially since she didnʼt recognize Zhang Feiʼs fox bloodline, and she thought about his offer.

”If I really meant to be mean to you, I could have done it from the start, Jin Yuan.” Zhang Fei then released a bit of his Heavenly Fox aura, but he quickly withdrew it again.

Even so, Jin Yuan was already trembling the moment she sensed his Heavenly Fox aura, even if it was only for a moment. She then exclaimed in shock. ”You... you are a Mythical Rank Beast!”

”Actually, I am an ordinary human, but I am also a Heavenly Fox, Jin Yuan.” Zhang Fei responded as he returned to his human form, gently caressing her head and saying sincerely. ”Become my beast contract; that way we can help each other be strong in the future.”

”No!” Zhang Fei was dumbfounded; he didnʼt expect that Jin Yuan would reject him, and she then said. ”You have a snake smell on you, so I donʼt want to make a contract with you.”

Zhang Fei inwardly sighed, and he didnʼt expect that Jin Yuan would reject him because of Boitata. ”How about you make a contract with one of my women? That way, youʼll still be part of my big family, and Iʼll take you to another realm later.”

Jin Yuan thought for a moment, then she nodded in agreement. ”Fine, Iʼll take a look at them first, but if I feel that none of them are suitable to be my master, then you shouldnʼt force me.”

”Okay, if none of them match your liking, then Iʼll bring you back to this place.” Zhang Fei nodded, then he sent Jin Yuan into his beast space and went home.
