The Sword God of the Universe

Chapter 1746: Chapter 1746: Ruins and Wreckage

The Witch Realm node is a very distant journey from the Sky Creation City Alliance Territory.

Back then, it took Jing Yan hundreds of years to travel from the Nu Zhen Mansion to the Witch Realm node. The distance from the Nu Zhen Mansion to the Sky Creation City Alliance Territory is also very far.

Of course, when traveling from the Nu Zhen Mansion to the Witch Realm node, Jing Yan was not in a hurry. Now that Jing Yan has entered the Supreme Realm, he can travel at full speed and it won’t take him as long.

About twenty years later, Jing Yan entered the Sky Creation City Alliance Territory.

The Sky Creation City Alliance comprises hundreds of clans, among which the Beast Clan, Human Clan, Netherworld Clan, and Earth Clan are the strongest.

The entire Sky Creation City Alliance has countless boundary domains. The Human Clan’s Nine Realms is not a small territory. However, compared to the entire Sky Creation City Alliance Territory, it’s just a sesame seed on a pancake.

After Jing Yan entered the Sky Creation City Alliance Territory, he started sensing things.

Now, even the power of laws within the Sky Creation City Alliance Territory appears unstable and chaotic.

Continuing to perform Ultimate Void Instantaneous Movement.

”Up ahead, there’s a boundary domain. I don’t know which clan it belongs to.” Jing Yan discovered a boundary domain. This domain isn’t large, not even comparable to one of the Human Nine Realms, so it should be occupied by a not so powerful clan.

Jing Yan directly teleported into the boundary domain.

In these boundary domains, there might be some ancient transmission arrays available for use.

If there’s a transmission array, one wouldn’t need to fly all the way. Through the array, they could quickly reach the city areas of Sky Creation City.

”This...”

After entering the domain, Jing Yan’s expression turned somber.

The entire domain, with chaotic laws and a collapsed heavenly dome, could only be described as torn and tattered.

This place had clearly experienced fierce battles. The Fire Worship Path Alliance had already attacked this domain.

Jing Yan spread out his vast divine thought.

A large amount of life aura was sensed by Jing Yan.

”There are still many surviving beings in this domain.” Jing Yan thought, his gaze extremely cold.

Although the domain was attacked, under normal circumstances, the Fire Worship Path Alliance couldn’t possibly kill all the surviving beings in an entire domain. Unless they completely destroyed the domain. Of course, with the strength of the Fire Worship Path Alliance, destroying such a domain is not difficult. However, completely demolishing a domain is not beneficial for the Fire Worship Path Alliance.

Within a domain, there are countless resources. If they directly destroy the domain, the resources would be destroyed as well. If the Fire Worship Path Alliance isn’t foolish, they wouldn’t want to give up the resources within the domain.

Jing Yan’s figure flashed, instantly transporting to a place that appeared to be a city.

A scene of ruins.

However, within this vast expanse of ruins, a minuscule amount of surviving beings barely clung to life; Jing Yan sensed faint life aura fluctuations.

While Jing Yan’s divine thought probed the ruins of the city, a being flew over from above. Upon seeing Jing Yan, this being’s whole body trembled slightly and then suddenly sped up, trying to flee.

This was an alien being equivalent to the God Emperor Realm.

”One-eyed Clan?” Jing Yan muttered upon seeing this being.

The One-eyed Clan is a middle-class clan of the Sky Creation City Alliance. Within this clan, there are three or four Heavenly Venerate-level experts. A God Emperor-level life form among the One-eyed Clan is considered a truly significant figure within the clan.

Jing Yan, with a flash, appeared in front of the One-eyed Clan being, circulating his divine power, causing the being’s body to halt immediately.

The One-eyed Clan being’s face turned pale, yet their pair of pupils held an endless rage as they stared fiercely at Jing Yan.

”Kill me if you must, I will never submit to you damned bastards!” the One-eyed Clan being shouted loudly.

Despite trying their best to resist, they could not move, which made them realize that Jing Yan’s power exceeded theirs by a significant margin, making resistance futile.

”Kill you? You are a life form of the Sky Creation City Alliance; why would I kill you?” Jing Yan said.

”Hm?” The One-eyed Clan being was momentarily startled.

”You... you’re not from the Fire Worship Path Alliance?” the One-eyed Clan being asked.

Seeing Jing Yan, they had assumed he was a strong figure from the Fire Worship Path Alliance. From what Jing Yan implied, it seemed that was not the case.

”Of course not, I am a human!” Jing Yan said.

Then, Jing Yan withdrew his divine power.

”I just arrived here. Is this domain the One-eyed Clan Territory?” Jing Yan asked.

Upon hearing Jing Yan’s words, the eyes of the One-eyed Clan being turned red again, anger causing them to tremble violently.

”Sir, this indeed is the One-eyed Clan Territory. However, everything is over. Our One-eyed Clan is finished. The leaders of the clan may all be dead! Damn Fire Worship Path Alliance!” the One-eyed Clan being said deeply, and with anger.

”When did the Fire Worship Path Alliance attack this domain?” Jing Yan asked.

”Three hundred years ago, I think!”

”Over three hundred years ago, the scum from the Fire Worship Path Alliance suddenly attacked our One-eyed Clan Territory. We couldn’t hold them off; the domain was quickly breached. Those damned bastards committed all sorts of atrocities once they got in, killing who knows how many clan members. Any clan members slightly stronger were hunted down. They also madly looted resources. Now, there probably isn’t a single intact city in the entire domain,” the One-eyed Clan being said, their tone filled with grief and indignation.

Jing Yan’s expression grew increasingly grim.

”Are there still cultivators from the Fire Worship Path within the domain?” Jing Yan paused and asked.

”Yes!”

”I know most of the Fire Worship Path cultivators are gathered in Bartu City. The majority left after initially attacking the domain. But a small part stayed behind; they are responsible for plundering resources and then transferring them out. These damned bastards!” the One-eyed Clan being said through gritted teeth.

”Bartu City?” Jing Yan said.

”Yes, Bartu City. Bartu City is our One-eyed Clan Territory’s King City. The leaders of the clan have always lived in Bartu City. But now, Bartu City is occupied by those damned beings of the Fire Worship Path,” the One-eyed Clan being said.

”Is Bartu City far from here?” Jing Yan asked again.

”Very far. Using a transmission array, you could get there quickly. But all the transmission arrays in the cities are occupied by the scum of the Fire Worship Path. Sir, why do you ask? Are you planning to go to Bartu City? You mustn’t go; you’re human, and if the scum of the Fire Worship Path discover you, they won’t let you go,” the One-eyed Clan being realized Jing Yan seemed intent on going to Bartu City and quickly tried to persuade him against it.

Jing Yan smiled lightly.

Jing Yan was well aware of the attitude of the Fire Worship Path towards humans. The Fire Worship Path Alliance is supported by that Jin Haiwang. How could Jin Haiwang have a good attitude toward humans? Jin Haiwang probably wants all human life wiped out, right?
