The Deadly Hitwoman: The Heiress's Special Abilities

Chapter 739: Chapter 739: Am I Really Her Son?

In fact, Han Siqu really had nothing to say to Han Si Que.

To be honest, the bond they shared for over a decade as brothers was completely extinguished by everything that happened later.

Also because of Su Yaogeng, he really no longer liked this big brother.

Therefore, even if he’s leaving now and might not see him again in the future, he doesn’t feel any regret.

”If you have some time, come back with me. After all, Mother is getting old. Seeing her this time, probably...” Probably won’t see her again in the future.

Han Si Que looked at Han Siqu: ”All these years you’ve been away, Mother has missed you.”

Han Siqu lifted his eyelids: ”Really? I remember when I got married, she said, as long as I agreed to marry Yao Zhen, even if I hated her and didn’t recognize her as my mother, it was fine. To separate you and Yao Zhen completely, she never cared about my feelings, let alone intended to acknowledge me as her son, did she?”

Back then, to make Su Yaogeng give up and to entirely separate Han Si Que and Su Yaogeng, when Su Yaogeng requested the betrothal decree, she begged him desperately. As long as he could act as the substitute, as long as it could save the Han Family and separate Han Si Que and Su Yaogeng, he would never need to recognize her as his mother, she wouldn’t require him to return home to fulfill filial duties.

He still remembers the words she said to him back then.

Ha, talking about mother and son, the son in her eyes could only be Han Si Que, that legitimate eldest son, right? What was he?

As long as he could be sacrificed for the family, as long as he had a bit of value and significance, it didn’t matter if he wasn’t her son anymore.

So, she would miss him? What a joke?

Han Siqu sneered: ”So these filial duties, leave it to you, the filial son. Anyway, I’ve always been the unfilial one. The family register already crossed out my name long ago, you really think I wasn’t aware?”

Han Si Que frowned.

Back then, when Mrs. Qin caused a ruckus, which created a divide between the two families, the Han Family became the laughingstock of the Capital City. To bring Mrs. Qin back, his mother even promised in front of Mrs. Qin that Su Yaogeng would never appear in their family register. Because at the time Han Siqu had flipped out with the family when marrying Su Yaogeng, she wasn’t on the register. To appease Mrs. Qin, his mother directly crossed Han Siqu’s name from the register, following rumors of his possible death after he left, just to completely sever any ties between Su Yaogeng and the Han Family. Of course, such matters couldn’t be revealed, as Su Yaogeng had a noble status; once the news spread...

He truly didn’t know how Han Siqu, who had only returned to the Capital City for a few days, knew about this matter.

”She is our mother after all.” Han Si Que knew the Han Family had wronged Han Siqu. Removing him from the family register was indeed excessive by her. But when things had become so chaotic between him and Su Yaogeng, he really had no mind to attend to these matters.

”Ha, indeed, she is our mother, but does that mean all she’s done is right? She contributed significantly to everything that happened, including removing me, her own son, from the family register without hesitation to appease her legitimate eldest daughter-in-law. If I didn’t resemble her a bit, I’d doubt whether I was her biological child.”
