The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 758: The Goddess of Death Part 2

”...Hurry up, Red King!! Get out from down there and turn into a girl,” Pandora yells at me from above.

”[Calm down, Pandora, this requires some effort. I don’t use Mana like you do, I don’t have energy reserves to waste.]” I warn her, impatient as she is. Honestly, when I think back to the past, to the Pandora who sacrificed someone for me, and this one, I just feel pity.

This Pandora, Goddess of Death, is profoundly pathetic. She shows what would happen if Pandora in this current timeline had lost everyone she loved — a Pandora with no real purpose in life, who doesn’t know what to do.

”[...]” I begin to emerge from the ocean of blood where Pandora awaits me. I think about the physical, mental, and personal tastes of the Pandora I know in order to choose my new appearance.

’From what my power shows, everything went wrong for this Pandora the moment she failed to properly connect with the siren goddess Delphina... so...’ I decide to base myself on that goddess. My body begins to be left behind like a husk as I ”step” out from inside my own ”body.”

I choose to become a short girl. I have long red hair, which isn’t exactly my aesthetic choice, but a visual form my carapace held. My eyes are a deep red like blood, and my skin is entirely black like the purest darkness, which makes my eyes stand out even more. My height is only 140 centimeters, and I decide to give this form a cute, small penis.

The reason is that the two of them first interacted precisely because Delphina was an inexperienced futanari. I chose this form to frustrate Pandora and to prevent my own death.

”You look like a little bloody black hole,” she says, taking in my appearance until her gaze drops lower.

”Why the hell did you put that tiny little thing down there?!” She sounds frustrated that I have a penis, as I begin to generate clothes to cover my body, following basic mortal cultural etiquette.

”It’s what you like, isn’t it?”

”No!! I like normal girls too!!! And why the hell would you choose to become something I supposedly like?”

”Almost all your partners have fucked you with a penis. Only one is a hundred percent a girl who never fucked you, and one is even a man. I have strong evidence that you like girls with penises.”

”THAT WAS A SPECIFIC SITUATION!”

”Delphina has a penis, and Grimm uses metamorphosis to have one too...”

”That’s magic!! It doesn’t count!! And stop spying on my private life,” she tries to defend herself.

’I didn’t observe her private life, but rather parts of the original Pandora’s, and only one part was truly hers...’

”Azraelith has a tail, a sexual organ almost equivalent to something phallic.”

”THE TAIL DOESN’T COUNT!”

”There’s Mikael...”

”AND HE WAS A MAN! He’s not a girl!!!”

”So you admit that most of your relationships involved a phallic characteristic.”

”I WILL KILL YOU.”

”That wouldn’t answer my observation. Let’s face it, you can’t fight facts. Not to mention Elysia herself, the daughter that the Pandora from the original timeline had and to whom she also gave a penis for sex...” She bites her lips in frustration.

”Seriously, why did you choose a penis and such a cute appearance?”

”So that I don’t die naturally. Besides, I’m still a girl. This penis is more of a small ornament. Look, it’s cute. It’s small, adorable, and has the appearance of a tiny, hidden little mushroom,” I reply, adjusting my new clothes. It’s been a long time since I’ve had to use a humanoid body.

”If you don’t like it, I can remove it, but that would require a payment.”

”You mercenary little shit of a whore!! Fine, keep that miserable little thing between your legs!! I hope a Glorbian bites it off.”

”Wishing for a parasite to rip off my private parts is quite mean. Should we leave now? I’m hungry. You need to give me my payment constantly for me to survive.”

”Fine. What do you eat?”

”Vitality works.” When I say that, she conjures a knife and cuts her own wrist, throwing her blood onto my face.

”No need for all this resentment. I’m not to blame for your personal, ontological, or divine problems, your problems—”

”Shut up, shorty. Seriously, I would’ve much preferred a girl with big breasts! I like big breasts. Why did you stay so small?”

”...No reason. Let’s just move forward, please?” I begin to absorb her vitality from the wound she just made as drops of her blood run down my cheeks.

”Damn, you’re a completely emotionless door!! Do you at least have a name?”

”I don’t possess a name. I am a contract entity. My name is whatever the contractor decides is appropriate to call me. Red King is just the title they called me most often, because beneath the waters my silhouette seemed to have a crown.”

”And since the water is red, they mistook it for blood. But this water that exists in my dimension isn’t blood. It’s actually liquid vitality I use to keep my powers functioning.”

”Yeah, yeah, yeah, enough of this talk already. I don’t care how your powers work, Red King.”

’...How disappointing...’ I honestly expected more. A being as grand as Pandora having such pathetic endings in other timelines.

”Why are you looking at me like that?! Are you pitying me?!! Don’t pity me!!” She notices, grabbing my hand and starting to pull me out of my dimension.

”Pandora, were you hoping I’d refuse so you’d have an excuse to kill me? I am an entity, I have no gender. Turning into a girl or a man is just a purely aesthetic choice. But bringing me along won’t fill the loving void that exists in your heart.” When I say this, she squeezes my wrist until it breaks.

”I am incapable of feeling pain unless you want me to feel pain,” I tell her, realizing that the Original Pandora would never be like this.

”Oh, how wonderful. So you’re not even useful for being hurt? What would your use even be?”

”I feel pleasure. I can also climax and even get pregnant. And if my body feels pleasure, my mind changes and becomes less cold and more responsive.” A copy of Delphina’s more shy and ”cute” attitude, but she doesn’t need to know that.

”Should I get pregnant, a being similar to me will be born.”

”...” She looks at me with a strange expression, as if I were doing something wrong.

”You think I want you? How conceited.”

’Says the girl who asked me to turn into a girl.’ I say nothing. She’ll know whether or not to use that. As long as she keeps me alive, I don’t care.

”Why do you want to survive so badly?” She asks an interesting question.

”Why do you want to survive so badly, Pandora? I want to survive for my race. I am the last of my species, and keeping my entire race alive through me makes me the possible future progenitor of my own race, a unique savior to it.”

”...How arrogant you are, and what an egocentric reason... I guess I have no reasons to survive. Only because dying would make me weak, and I am not weak, so I will never die.”

’Her justification is worse than mine... though fitting for a goddess of death... how simplistic.’
