The Dark Rebirth of Pandora: Revenge of the Abyss

Chapter 622: What happened?

”...Blergh...” I look at my cute big sis, who’s puking up some black gunk. I feel like throwing up too, but I force myself not to. I’m stronger than the situation.

”Come on, Azraelith, you’ve been at this for several minutes now.” We finished having sex a few minutes ago and returned to our humanoid forms, and the situation was... pretty unique.

”I-I’m so nauseous. It feels like my stomach is burning,” she says through tears, vomiting more of that black mass onto the floor. And though I won’t admit it, my stomach feels like it’s burning from the inside too.

”Dammit, Pandora... I can’t believe you did that.” She looks at me, complaining while wiping her lips to clean off the black gunk dripping down.

”My bad. I lost control for a moment. I didn’t know I’d get so worked up seeing your true form.” Strangely enough, now that I’m in humanoid form, Azraelith’s true form doesn’t seem nearly as irresistible.

’It seems like biologically, my attraction shifts completely depending on which form I’m using.’ In humanoid form, my attraction is to humanoid bodies, and in my true form, my attraction leans more toward those physical traits big sis showed.

Plus, our forms are pretty similar. Although different, neither has a face, both have some kind of ”organ” on the belly—in my case, a mouth and in hers, an eye—and we both have traits of that darkness.

With me being the black spiral, and her being the arms and legs, overall, despite the differences, we were the same.

”Big sis, are you feeling better now?” I ask her as she throws herself onto the floor, lying on her back.

”A little... although I’m still nauseous—” She stops talking, putting her hand over her mouth to keep from throwing up. By reflex, I do the same, almost vomiting that same black mass.

’I’m so nauseous too.’ I also feel kind of dizzy, like everything is spinning, so I sit down on the floor.

That black mass we’re trying so hard to throw up is sexual fluids from our true forms that we consumed from each other. But the magical density of it is disgusting.

The taste is nasty and intensely bitter, and the heat of it is so strong it feels like it’s cooking me from the inside.

Unlike the clear fluids you’d expect from sexual fluids, ours in our true form are this black shade and they even bubble, showing just how hot they are.

While we were in our true forms, it wasn’t a problem. But after we untransformed, the fluid remained, and for our humanoid bodies, the fluid proved to be mildly harmful.

”U-Ughb.” I feel a drop running down my lips as tears spill over, but I keep my hands over my mouth, forcing myself to swallow it back down. I won’t waste my beloved sister’s fluids.

”Pandora, stop torturing yourself and just spit that crap out. Can’t you see you can’t eat this?” When Azraelith says that, it just shows how bizarre this fluid is, because not even my passive [Devourer] is able to consume this crap.

”N-No! I liked it...” I lie. I’m hating this taste. It’s the worst thing I’ve ever put in my mouth, which is weird because when we were transformed, the taste seemed like a sweet dream.

”...A-Anyway, the castle’s moving again... s-so we’ll reach the planet very soon.”

”M-Meanwhile, I’m going to create some avatars to wander the universe looking for stars that carry the Primordial Goddess’s Mana,” I tell her my current plan. I’ll create mini-avatars with this specific function.

That way, they’ll find what I need for me without me having to wander around analyzing every star in the universe.

”Blergh...” I end up vomiting that viscous black fluid, unable to keep it inside me any longer. A bubbling black puddle falls to the floor as everything I was trying to hold inside escapes.

”...” I look at the floor, a little disappointed that I failed. But with no time to lament, I end up spitting out the rest of what was left. The taste on my tongue is so horrible I feel like ripping it out.

”Feel better?” Azraelith asks without any concern.

”A little.” I sit on the floor, still feeling the effects of nausea and disgust.

”But I loved the sex, so I think it was totally worth it! Next time, we just won’t untransform before digesting the black fluid,” I say, giving her a thumbs-up. She rolls her eyes.

”Don’t attack me like that again. Though I admit, I’ve never felt so... excited about something before, so I’ll give you credit. But don’t do it again.” When she says that, I tense up. Good thing she didn’t notice our mom ended up watching our interaction through the window. Honestly, it was kind of uncomfortable. Good thing she ignored it and left quickly.

”Especially because I don’t think it was worth it considering how nauseous I am. You know I’ve never felt nausea on this level in my entire life?”

”Actually, it’s almost abnormal to be nauseous for over ten minutes considering our resistances.” Before I can get up, she grabs my hand.

”Don’t try to pick up the fluid from the floor to drink later.”

”...I wasn’t going to do that. That’s gross...”

”Who knows? You’re weird. I wouldn’t put it past you to try to pick it up and save it to try eating again later,” she insists I would do that.

”Tsk. I’m not that gluttonous... maybe a little...” Her judging stare makes me give up.

”I was gonna try...” It’s not like it’s that gross to eat something that came out of my own mouth. My stomach doesn’t work like other beings’. There’s no bile or stomach acid in the same sense.

So when I threw up, literally the only thing that came out was the black fluid mixed with saliva. Nothing else. So trying to eat it wouldn’t be that gross, but the taste would still be crap.

”But I will save it for study, even if I’m not going to eat it.” I create a glass vial using the technique Evangeline explained for creating divine-material resistance, and then I collect samples of the fluid from the floor.

”Your hunger for knowledge is almost endearing, Pandora. But I swear, if I find out you ate that again, I’ll break your teeth.”

”I wouldn’t do it after your warning!! Besides, you’re just embarrassed because it’s your fluids. And it’s kind of insulting to see you vomit my fluids without even trying to resist a little,” I say, pointing at her since she didn’t even try to swallow my part.

”Pandora, just stop. The more crap you talk, the grosser you sound. Not everyone has disgusting tastes and depraved interests like yours. Just get back to what you were doing, feeding on stars.”

”...” Grimm does, but I say nothing, since Grimm is even more depraved than I am.

”Hahaha, sorry, okay? Let’s just forget this situation. We already had our fun! Now we should get ready to be received on the planet,” I say to her as we start entering the castle.

”I’ll ignore this for now, but I won’t forget your surprise attack,” she says in a threatening tone while I already start creating thousands of mini-clones and send them through the shadows to planets we’ve passed near, so they can search for the stars I want.

”You don’t have to forget!” I say in a confident tone that she won’t do anything too serious.

...

...

...

”Elysia-sama, is there a problem?” A servant asks while I look at myself in the mirror, brushing my hair. As a goddess, I obviously need to be presentable at all times.

”I want you to throw yourself down there to check one last time,” I say, thinking calmly about it. The abyss is gone. What initially filled me with stress soon turned into an opportunity.

’Without the abyss blocking my path, the sky now works as a direct portal to the universe.’ My angels have already checked, and apparently, I was too late and couldn’t catch Pandora in the neutral zone.

But that doesn’t matter. I’m satisfied with the benefits, because now Heaven has gained some interesting advantages. Pandora might have thought the abyss disappearing wouldn’t do anything, but without it, they all lost the only barrier that was in the way.

’If we can defeat the three of them, they’ll have nowhere to flee and survive. And without the abyss, we won’t have to worry about an extra. Besides, the fact it disappeared... means Echidna is free.’ That’s bad, but it helps too.

Information is always useful. My plans weren’t so precise because I didn’t know who would fight, but now I know Echidna will fight too.

”Predictable. Probably, considering the way we fight, Pandora, Azraelith, and Echidna divided the fight into Azraelith against Morynna, me against Pandora, and Eryndriel and Elowen against Echidna.” With that, I understand their plan.

’It’s very well architected. Morynna has no way to beat Azraelith alone, and Morynna is our ace in the hole to kill Pandora and Azraelith in one strike...’ I think about the formation.

’On the other hand, Eryndriel and Elowen are the weakest, and they have no way to beat Echidna, while they’d fare better fighting Azraelith to at least delay her... and Pandora...’ I don’t know how skilled Pandora might be, but if she’s coming for me, then she must have her own aces up her sleeve.

”An ace up her sleeve... the only thing left is magic, or some element I’m unaware of...” I read the situation like a book. The situation, which was unpredictable before because of the abyss existing, now becomes clear as water.

’If that’s their formation, so be it. It’s perfect. I just need to prepare everyone and make the fight bad for their side.’ We still have time, and with that time, I will adjust things so they have serious problems when facing these specific opponents.

”Take a deep breath... I’m regaining control. As long as they’re predictable, my chances of winning increase.” I stand up from the chair, ready to start a new meeting with the new information I have.
