Villain: Manipulating the Heroines into hating the Protagonist

Chapter 274  Marriage Proposal to Stella, the Butterfly Spirit Queen

Initially, Wang Jian had no intention of freeing Zyrithia and letting her return to the devil forces.

However, the unexpected appearance of the Blue Moon Eclipse Devil Clan on the battlefield sparked a new idea in his mind.

Having the Blue Moon Eclipse Devil Clan join his faction could be a tremendous advantage, greatly strengthening his forces. But he knew he had to tread carefully, as his current faction members might not readily accept devils among them.

Building trust between the two sides was crucial, but the situation was complicated.

Emperor Wang had sought support from the powerful Golden Sun Empire, which was sending its experts to deal with the devil forces.

Their cultivation manuals seemed to grant them deadly power against devils.

Wang Jian understood the urgency of the situation.

He needed to contact the devil forces before the experts from the Golden Sun Empire arrived, as the losses to the devil forces would be immense otherwise.

With an air of mystery and revelation, Wang Jian decided to show Zyrithia a surprising truth. He activated his transformation ability, and before her eyes, his hair turned a stunning shade of blue while his once ordinary eyes blazed with a fiery red.

Zyrithia couldnʼt believe her eyes and exclaimed, ”Y-You possess the bloodline of the Blue Moon Eclipse Devil Clan!”

Wang Jian confirmed her suspicions, ”Correct.”

The revelation left Zyrithia in awe, as she never considered that Wang Jian was actually a devil. This added another layer of complexity to their already complicated encounter.

”As I mentioned earlier, I am willing to grant you your freedom, but it comes with certain conditions,” Wang Jian stated, revealing a Golden Radiance Oath Scroll, a binding agreement that carried a weight of its own.

As Zyrithia read through the conditions on the scroll, her shock only grew. The terms were stringent, leaving her with little autonomy. She would forever be bound to obey Wang Jianʼs orders, could not betray him, and had to work tirelessly to persuade the devil forces to submit to him.

Frustrated, Zyrithia protested, ”These conditions strip away the very freedom you promised me!”

Wang Jian smirked in response, ”The freedom I offered was freedom from this place, not from me.”

Despite her reservations, Zyrithia had no choice but to agree to the conditions. Reluctantly, they both signed the contract, sealing their agreement.

With a devious grin, Wang Jian suggested they consummate the agreement with a passionate night together.

Zyrithia knew what he meant, and the two engaged in a night of intense passion that lasted until the early hours of the morning.

After their intimate encounter, Zyrithia was allowed to leave the Black Castle and return to the devil forces.

However, Wang Jian chose not to return the Ancestral Curseweaver Nether Scythe to her.

As Zyrithia departed from the Black Castle, she couldnʼt shake the feeling that she was now entangled in a new web of intrigue woven by Wang Jianʼs cunning ways.

Nevertheless, she knew that being free, even under the conditions of the agreement, was a far better option than languishing in that dreary dungeon, waiting for rescue.

With the binding agreement in place, Zyrithia had a crucial task ahead - making the devil forces submit to Wang Jian.

Thankfully, she held enough influence within the Nether Curseweaver Devil Clan to ensure that they would, for the time being, listen to Wang Jianʼs commands.

But what truly intrigued her was the discovery of Wang Jianʼs royal bloodline within the Blue Moon Eclipse Devil Clan, which was known for its purest and most powerful devil blood.

This revelation held immense potential, and Zyrithia was convinced that both her own clan and the Blue Moon Eclipse Devil Clan would follow Wang Jianʼs orders once they knew the purity of his bloodline.

The royal bloodline was renowned for enabling its members to utilize the transformation ability - a trait Wang Jian displayed with his hair turning blue and eyes fiery red.

This raised a question in Zyrithiaʼs mind: how could he wield this power as a half-devil, considering that his human blood should have diluted the purity of his devil bloodline?

Yet, she chose not to dwell on it, knowing that unraveling Wang Jianʼs mysteries would be impossible without proper knowledge.

After Zyrithiaʼs departure, Wang Jian decided to refresh himself with a bath before seeking out Stella for a meaningful conversation. Politely, he asked, ”Stella, can you accompany me for a walk?”

”Sure,” Stella replied, rising from her chambers and joining Wang Jian for a stroll within the Black Castleʼs halls.

During their walk, Wang Jian expressed heartfelt gratitude for Stellaʼs unwavering support and trust, even in the face of his half-devil identity – something he knew she detested deeply.

Stella acknowledged that the revelation had indeed shocked her to the core, but she explained that she had chosen to believe in his character and personality regardless.

”I am truly honored by your trust, Stella. Today, I wish to confess something to you,” Wang Jian spoke earnestly.

Curious, Stella inquired, ”What is it, Your Highness?”

”You see…I have huge ambitions. My ambitions are not just limited to ruling over this Empire as its Emperor. Initially, my plan had been to inherit it from my father by proving myself to be the worthiest. However, since my identity as a half-devil has been revealed, I am sure that it will impossible for me to inherit it. So, I have no choice but to seize the throne by using force!” Wang Jian spoke seriously.

Stella nodded her head as she spoke, ”Yes. I understand what you mean, Your Highness. And my only request would be that you do not target the innocent civilians in your path of seizing the throne.”

Wang Jian smiled as he spoke, ”I have never even thought about that. My plan will be to ensure that the Empire suffers minimum damage.”

”Thatʼs wonderful,” Stella smiled as she heard his words.

Wang Jian then continued, ”But its not about that. What my ambition entails is what happens after I become the Emperor. And the first thing I wish to do after becoming the Emperor is to integrate the beast community in the Empire as well. Now, before you take it the wrong way and think that this is about me ruling over the beasts, let me clear that this is not my intention or my aim.”

”Then what is it?” Stella asked curiously.

Wang Jianʼs gaze met hers, and he spoke with conviction, ”Stella, youʼve been living among us for many days now. You must have noticed how rapidly humans are developing. Itʼs because of our unity, intelligence, and adaptability. However, the same progress is not as evident in the beast communities. They still rely heavily on their bloodlines and ancestral knowledge, which has led to a slower growth in their power compared to humans.”

Stella listened attentively to Wang Jianʼs words, acknowledging the truth in his observations. She remained silent for a moment, realizing the significance of his insight.

”Itʼs true,” she finally replied, her voice tinged with sincerity. ”The beast communities have indeed faced challenges in adapting to the changing world. We have a rich history and powerful bloodlines, but we have been hesitant to embrace change and new ideas.”

Wang Jian nodded, appreciating her understanding. ”Exactly. I believe that by integrating the beast community into the Empire, we can provide them with new opportunities for growth and development. We can learn from their wisdom and ancient knowledge while offering them access to the advancements of human civilization. Together, we can create a powerful and harmonious society, where both humans and beasts can progress and prosper side by side.”

Wang Jianʼs eyes gleamed with passion as he explained, ”I wish to create a harmonious coexistence between humans and beasts within the Empire. For centuries, there has been strife and animosity between our two communities. As Emperor, I want to bridge that divide, bring understanding, and foster a sense of unity. Beasts are sentient beings, just like humans, and they deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.”

Stellaʼs curiosity deepened as she listened intently, appreciating the depth of Wang Jianʼs vision. She could see the sincerity in his eyes, and his aspiration to build a better future for the Empire moved her.

That is a noble goal, Your Highness,” Stella replied, her admiration evident in her voice. ”If anyone can achieve it, I believe itʼs you.”

Wang Jian let out a tired sigh before speaking again, ”Thank you for your trust, Stella. But there is a huge issue in my ambition. As the Butterfly Spirit Queen and the representative of your beast comrades, I am sure you know the sentiments that the beasts hold for the humans. I cannot change that, and I am sure that even you Wang Jian, propose to you to marry me.”

would be helpless against it.”

”...That is correct. They would never agree that we should join the human communities for our growth,” Stella spoke with a frown.

”I have a solution for that, Stella, but I really need your assistance,” Wang Jian said, determination in his eyes.

Curiosity twinkled in Stellaʼs eyes as she asked, ”What is it?”

”Among humans, it is said that marriage is a way to develop relations between two communities. And I believe that it could work in this case as well if a human were to marry a beast,” Wang Jian began with this statement.

He then took Stellaʼs right hand, holding it gently, and kneeled in front of her. Speaking in a soft yet earnest tone, he said, ”Stella, I, Wang Jian, propose to you to marry me.”
