Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 1052: The consequence and the sudden result.

A deafening impact shook the arena.

The air was compressed, and the silence was split by a deafening explosion.

The flash was so bright and powerful that it could almost be called natural. The white-orange light instantly turned into a roaring wall of fire and shock force.

The fog—shrouded cemetery, the ancient Gothic castle hanging on chains, and the floating debris in the sky were all destroyed by the explosion, turning into dust.

The explosion was too powerful, too real in its destructive power. It seemed that the dungeon, having copied the bomb inside, reproduced not only its shape, but also all the horror inherent in it.

The simulation tried to limit the effects within the acceptable test, but the destructive force has already gone beyond the limits set.

Space was momentarily distorted, as if the fabric of reality had stretched to its limit, and soon the first disruptions began to occur.

The light cracked first.

Then the picture itself distorted.

The fire froze in the air, trembled and disintegrated into ragged fragments.

The debris seemed to have forgotten how to fall, and then it jerked sharply to the side, repeating the same path that it had already traveled.

Short rips ran across the surface of the destruction. It wasn’t fire or smoke, but mistakes, failures in the simulation that exposed its artificial nature.

The dungeon made a mistake.

It had let in something that shouldn’t exist within the trial, and now it was trying to figure out what had happened. The explosion had already occurred, but its effects continued to spread, destroying not only the walls and floor, but also the very logic of the arena and the trial that was supposed to contain them.

The dungeon couldn’t bring everything back. It could only try to minimize losses and prevent the complete destruction of the trial.

That’s exactly what started.

Amidst the chaos of destruction and system errors, the Gatekeepers of the arena, appointed by the dungeon itself and part of the simulation, tried to survive.

A bright flash blinded Arabel and Idan, and a powerful shockwave knocked them back, dealing their avatars a crushing blow.

Only the fact that they were away from the epicenter of the explosion saved them from certain death on the spot.

Despite the pain, disorientation and misunderstanding of what was happening, they did not let go of each other. Hugging each other tightly, they held on to each other like a lifeline and had a strong desire to protect.

The instinct of self-defense inherent in dragons covered Arabel’s body with silver scales. In an effort to protect her husband, she spread her wings and wrapped them in a kind of cocoon, tightly wrapping her long dragon tail around him.

Idan, in turn, used all the accumulated blood energy to protect them both. He created a blood sphere that was enhanced by the madness energy he shared with Arabel.

Communication with the twenty vampire beasts was cut off at the moment of the explosion, which meant that they had died.

Being part of the simulation and not having administrator rights, they could not find a way out of the current situation and escape. The only thing left for them was to try to survive this chaos and stay alive.

In the chaos, neither Idan nor Arabel could do anything about it.

They were tossed from side to side as the destructive force tested the strength of their defenses.

Each blow drained their energy, and over time, a gap appeared in the blood sphere. Before it could close, it was under attack again, and the site became even more vulnerable.

Idan was rapidly losing strength. In the end, he was completely exhausted, having used up all his resources, and their first line of defense had fallen.

After that, Arabel assumed responsibility for the protection.

Her dragon blood, supplemented by the element of space, proved to be more resistant than Idan’s blood energy, withstanding much more damage.

However, her powers were not unlimited either.

Her silver dragon scales began to crack and break, and lacerations appeared on her wings.

She was rapidly losing strength, and it seemed that her defenses were about to collapse, and they would both die. Idan, with his last strength, using Arabel’s blood, tried to maintain her protection.

By this point, they were so immersed in the situation that they didn’t even realize they were in the bodies of their avatars. It seemed to them that they were really dying.

That’s what made them stick to the end, not give up. Otherwise, they would have already lost hope.

Suddenly, everything went quiet, and the rocking stopped. Idan and Arabel, still hugging each other tightly, slowly opened their eyes.

“Are we dead?” was their first thought, triggered by the sudden change in the situation.

The space around them was still in chaos, but they seemed to be suspended in midair, held by an invisible force.

And then an amazing scene began.

The errors and destruction began to gradually recede, and the space began to recover.

The Dungeon finally took control of the situation.

Surprised to find that the Gatekeepers it had forgotten about were still alive, it hurried to protect them. And only after that, it began to eliminate errors and restore the destroyed space, without worrying about returning everything to its original appearance.

In a matter of seconds, the space returned to its previous state, but it turned out to be completely empty.

Idan and Arabel landed on a flat surface, and a wave of energy crashed down on them.

Under the influence of this force, Idan felt his body being filled with energy. His body, emaciated to the state of a skeleton and devoid of blood, regained its shape and weight. And Arabel’s cracked and fallen scales began to recover one by one, regaining their former brilliant light.

They were still sitting with their arms around each other, unable to believe that everything was over and they were still alive.

[Ding! The temporary Dungeon Gate Opening event ended prematurely due to the destruction of the arena and the structure of the trial.]

[The Challenger’ victory condition has not been fulfilled.]

[Victory is awarded to the Gatekeepers.]

[Congratulations, Host, you have become the winner of the temporary Dungeon Gate Opening event.]

“What? Is that all? Did we win?” said Arabel and Idan incredulously, staring at the system notification.

There were still more than 20 hours left before the end of the trial, but now it was completed. And all thanks to the explosion of that damn bomb!

They couldn’t figure out whether to rejoice or cry.

While they were still under the impression of their success, a new notification appeared, which amazed them even more.:

[Ding! Hosts, the dungeon has highly appreciated your strength and resilience.]

[As part of the temporary event, the dungeon offers a special challenge for Hosts to take on the role of Challengers and fight against their Gatekeeper avatars]

[If successful, the Hosts will receive both the Gatekeeper’s Award and the Challenger’s award]

[Do you agree to take part in a special challenge?]

[Yes] or [No]
