Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 1025: The Systems Dungeon

[Ding! A World Quest was received]

[As one of the protectors chosen by the World Will, you have been called]

[The Disaster is almost over. Only the last event remains]

[The Systems Dungeon is ready to open its gates]

[The World Will calls you to participate in this grand final event and become the gatekeepers of the Dungeon]

“Huh?” — Arabel blinked and read the System Notification again.

“A World Quest? Now?”

“What is this ‘Systems Dungeon’?”

“The Gatekeeper of the Dungeon? What does it all mean?”

[The Host is given 10 minutes to make a decision]

[If the Host does not respond to the request within 10 minutes or refuses, the “World Quest” will be deleted. The Host will participate in the upcoming event, as will all other participants]

A long-forgotten timer appeared in front of Arabel, which began counting down 10 minutes.

After ten seconds of silence, Arabel finally turned to the System:

“System, damn it, please explain what all this means?”

[Host, the Third Disaster is nearing completion, and the World is entering a new, full-fledged middle stage of its growth.]

[The “Systems Dungeon” is a unique ancient mechanism designed for the worlds where the Systems descended.]

[According to the established rules, the World is now actively spending resources to create a fully compatible dungeon that will serve not only to support Hosts and their Systems, but also for all the inhabitants of this world.]

[According to the same rules, the World is required to hold an entrance trial in honor of the opening of the Dungeon gates, which will be richly rewarded with unique rewards.]

[The type and requirements of this trial are determined by the World itself, however, there are certain rules that must be followed.]

[Your World invites you, its defenders, to become part of this trial and become the Gatekeepers of the Dungeon.]

After receiving this information, Arabel realized what kind of Dark sphere is located near the Capital, and why it absorbs the energy and seeds of the law from all four anomalies.

“That’s where the gates to the Systems Dungeon will open, and it also explains why the Trees sought protection from Dan and the sisters.”

“To create a Systems Dungeon, the World needs a huge amount of energy and seeds of law. If the beasts and creatures from other worlds had taken these seeds to themselves, the World might have had trouble creating a dungeon.”

Along with the answers, Arabel had a lot of questions.

[Given the abnormally fast pace of development of your world, the existence of a “Systems Dungeon” becomes extremely necessary.]

The system came to Arabel’s rescue by providing answers to some of her questions.

[With each increase in rank, further development becomes more difficult for any creature, and System Hosts are no exception to this rule.]

[The Systems Dungeon was created in order to simplify this process and help the creatures of the world keep up with its growth and gain strength quickly.]

The amount of attention the System paid to the explanation showed Arabel how important this dungeon was. She had heard from Milisa and Sierra that promotion was becoming more difficult with each new rank, and some people spent years on it.

In this sense, she and the others who have the Systems are, one might say, cheaters who have a way to cheat these rules. However, according to the System, with the transition of the world to the middle stage, this also applies to them, the Hosts of the Systems, and they also need the Systems Dungeon.

Time was running out rapidly, and Arabel had less and less time to make a decision. She didn’t rush to answer, wanting to get more information.

“What about the Gatekeeper of the Dungeon?” she asked.

[This is the “role” that the World offers in the upcoming trial.]

[The details of this “role” and the reward for the trials are still unknown. The world will reveal them only if you accept the offer.]

“I’ll only know if I participate, won’t I?”

On the one hand, it was a risk, but on the other, it was a temptation. The name of the role suggested that it was related to protecting the entrance to the dungeons, but from whom exactly? From the animals? From beings from other worlds? Or from all of them combined?

“If that’s the case, won’t we become the enemies of the whole world?” Arabel asked anxiously.

Due to the events that took place in the four Anomalies, the Kingdom has already gained a lot of enemies. And now, finally, there was an opportunity to completely ruin everything.

But what worried Arabel the most about her current condition was pregnancy.

“System, is it safe for me in my position to participate in this at all?”

[Host, if participating in this was a threat to the fetus, this System wouldn’t dare to suggest it. For this System, the legacy of the Host has the highest priority.]

“Is that so? Is there no risk?”

Arabel felt relief.

“What about Dan? Did he get this offer too? If so, and we both agree, will we participate together or separately?”

[Your partner has also received a similar offer and has not yet made a decision.]

[Even though this system is a “pair system,” the two of you are considered one and therefore will participate together.]

Seeing that there wasn’t much time left, Arabel took out the {Whisper Talisman} and texted Idan. At the same time, she wanted to warn everyone else, but the System intervened.

[The Host is prohibited from sharing any information about the upcoming event, about the dungeon, including the peace offer, with anyone other than the Host of the second half of this System. Including warnings].

“Huh?” asked Arabel, puzzled.

At that moment, Idan appeared in the living room.

Before Arabel texted him, he was also communicating with the System to get information. Among other things, he couldn’t help but ask if Arabel had received an offer, and also about the risks associated with her pregnancy.

“Dan!” — Arabel exclaimed, running up to Idan and putting down the {Whisper Talisman}.

Idan caught his wife and kissed her gently, asking:

“What do you think about that?”

“I… I want to participate,” Arabel firmly stated her intention.

Idan chuckled. Knowing that there was no risk to the fetus, he saw no reason to keep his wife if she wanted to.

“We already have a lot of enemies, and the increase in their number is certainly not encouraging. However, the main thing is that the Kingdom is now in a safe place.”

“We still have time, and the upcoming event will undoubtedly affect the Kingdom. I am sure that the others will not stand aside and will take part. Although we cannot openly tell them about it, we can at least take some measures.”

“You’re right,” Arabel agreed.

In the remaining moments, Arabel used her abilities to pull Prina out of the depths of the Prison and through the living room of the “family home”, spending 10,000 System points, transported her from Limbo to Earth.

She explained it as “just in case.”

Then, after warning them that they would be unavailable for some time and that all management would be transferred to Irene and Arslan, they returned to the living room of the “family home”.

They held hands, looked at each other, and when the timer was less than 10 seconds away, they said, “We agree to participate and become the Gatekeepers of the Dungeon.”

The next moment, they both disappeared, leaving behind an empty living room.
