Chapter 1047: What the hell did you do to them?

As a Higher Vampire, Idan needed a huge amount of blood energy to transform an ordinary Platinum-ranked beast into an ordinary vampire.

Apart from the first beast, he was only able to turn four others into full—fledged vampires, and the remaining fifteen into half-vampires.

All the blood he had collected in the last two and a half hours had been used up, and Idan was in a difficult position.

“I need more blood,” he whispered, looking at the twenty beasts he had formed a blood bond with. It was an unusual feeling. He could feel the echoes of emotion, loyalty, and bloodlust.

Now, none of them felt fear of him, but showed respect and loyalty. This was especially true of the five beasts that had become vampire beasts.

The eyes of all the beasts shone with a scarlet light, just like Idan’s own, and scarlet mists of blood swirled around the bodies of the five vampire beasts.

The other fifteen have not undergone such significant changes as these five. Yes, they got a little bigger, their fangs and claws lengthened, but most importantly, there was no bloody mist hovering around them.

Idan sighed and squeezed his hand, where the wound had already healed. But instead of the usual overflow of blood energy, he felt nothing. He was exhausted, and he needed fresh blood to restore his strength.

His gaze fell on the first feline beast. Noticing Idan’s gaze, he bowed respectfully. Idan smiled contentedly.

“Show me your fangs,” he ordered.

The beast obediently complied with his request.

While he was happily studying the results of his labors, Arabel appeared at the entrance to the castle.

The beasts abruptly turned to her, began to sniff hungrily, and their eyes lit up, catching the scent of fresh blood that hovered around her.

“You’re back,” Idan said with a smile.

“What the hell did you do to them?” asked Arabel, pointing at the five Vampire Beasts.

“I told you I had an idea,” Idan replied with pride. “And here’s the result.”

At that moment, a system notification appeared in front of him.

[Discovered: Five vampire servants have been successfully created.]

[Discovered: Fifteen semi-vampire servants have been successfully created.]

[Due to the specifics of the event, the transformation of subordinate beasts is temporarily recognized as part of the Gatekeeper’s power.]

[All creatures transformed by the Host’s blood during the event retain their power-up until death or the end of the event.]

[Additional effect: The host can partially restore blood energy by destroying enemy creatures with the forces of his servants.]

Idan froze for a moment, and then he laughed.

“That’s it!”

Now everything has become even more interesting.

If his new servants kill enemies, some of their life force and blood will return to him through the bond. This meant that he could not only maintain his current army, but also expand it right through the course of events.

“Did something happen?” asked Arabel, puzzled.

“Yes, something interesting happened,” Idan replied, not hiding anything. He briefly told Arabel what had happened.

His dragon wife’s eyes shone with joy, and she looked at all 20 servant beasts in awe.

“By the way, why are you late?” Idan couldn’t help but ask, noticing that the 10-minute interval was almost over and a new group was about to appear.

Considering that the Federation and the Awakened didn’t have Platinum-ranked creatures, Arabel should have dealt with them without any problems.

“Well… I wasn’t in a hurry,” Arabel replied, very embarrassed and trying not to look into his scarlet eyes, as if afraid that he would read her thoughts.

Idan was so caught up in the transformation of the beasts that he didn’t follow Coco’s broadcast at all. He didn’t know what exactly had happened or what had confused his wife so much.

Outside the dungeon, Irene and the others’ gazes were fixed on the group of beautiful women who had just been thrown out.

Their faces expressed sympathy for these unfortunate people. They had just witnessed the terrible experience these women had in the hands of a jealous and cruel dragon.

Two heiresses from two Big Seven families had a particularly hard time.

Soon, the Federation side arrived and took away all the injured. At this time, a group of creatures from the worlds of Fire, Water, Sky and Earth began to prepare for the entrance.

“Only six?” asked Arslan, raising an eyebrow.

“They’re Diamond-rank,” Irene added. “It looks like they were the first to stop sending the Platinum Ones and decided to act.”

Milena, who was standing nearby, nodded in agreement.

“Well, there aren’t many of them as it is, so it was expected.”

Everyone agreed with her words. Here, at the entrance to the dungeons of the Central Continent, there were only a small part of the representatives of these worlds. As everyone knew, their main forces were concentrated on other continents, which also had their own gates, similar to the one here.

Meanwhile, on the Federation’s side, Octavian approached the heir of the Weir family, a young man with silver hair, sharp features, and a cold gaze.

“So, Cassian, what do you think about this?”

Cassian did not immediately respond, it was obvious that he was lost in thought. It was only after about ten seconds that he looked at Octavian and said:

“Everything didn’t go as we hoped, but… the result is still acceptable.”

“It doesn’t matter whose attention we attract: a Vampire or a Mad Dragoness.”

“It would be better if we could lure both of them, but no more checks, we’ll work with what we have.”

“I agree,” Octavian nodded.

“But the problem now is, will Celine and Aveline regain consciousness after everything that happened, not to mention will they agree to go inside again?” — Cassian said after some thought.

“Leave it to me, I’ll deal with them,” Octavian said confidently. “And you prepare everything to be ready.”

Cassian nodded and returned to watching the broadcast, in which six Diamond-ranked creatures had just appeared in the arena after passing through the gate.
