Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 652: Moonshade Pies

The evening sky over the Federation Capital was overcast, and a light rain was drizzling all over the capital.

It wasn’t too late yet, and the city was breathing its own life.

Arabel, who was watching the capital from a bird’s-eye view, couldn’t stop admiring the magnificent view in front of her.

Thanks to the invisible barrier created by the element of water, she was not bothered by the light evening rain.

After admiring the evening capital a little more, Arabel flapped her four wings, dark as night, and rushed in a certain direction. Along the way, she merged with her surroundings, using the [Concealment - level 3] ability of the element of darkness to remain unnoticed.

Arabel soon found herself in one of the residential areas of the city. She went downstairs and, finding a secluded corner, put on a Ghost Mask, assuming the appearance of a businesswoman with short black hair.

Arabel transformed her uniform, bringing it closer to a business suit. She took out her glasses and an umbrella from her spatial storage.

”I’m ready,” she said, putting on her glasses and opening her umbrella to get out of the drizzling rain.

She left the alley and walked towards a small eatery with the name ”Moonshade Pies” that glowed slightly in the dark.

When she opened the door, her nose was immediately filled with a pleasant aroma that whetted Arabel’s appetite, even though she had had a hearty dinner just before coming here.

”It seems that Leo was not mistaken this time,” she thought with a smile, lowered the umbrella and, folding it, went inside.

”Welcome,” the young waitress greeted her.

Arabel smiled back, appreciating the waitress’s pleasant clothes and the cozy atmosphere inside.

She found an empty seat, sat down, and began to study the menu.

Besides her, there were several other customers in the establishment who enjoyed the food with gusto.

Arabel looked at them with a smile and turned back to the menu. She thought about what to choose this time, and at the same time, using her Soul Force, she checked the kitchen to watch with interest what was happening inside.

Inside the kitchen, two women who looked very similar to each other in chef’s clothes were harmoniously preparing their orders for the visitors.

The two, Arabel had discovered earlier, were mother and daughter.

The mother looked to be over thirty, and the daughter was about 18 years old.

In addition to them, Arabel discovered that two other elderly people lived on the floor above.

”According to Leo’s information, these two elderly people are the landlords of this small eatery, and the mother and daughter are the tenants,” Arabel said in her mind, looking at them. Finding nothing interesting, she turned her attention back to the mother and daughter, watching them cook.

”Both are doing great, but it’s noticeable that the daughter is more skilled not only in handling a knife, but also in everything else,” Arabel said.

If Idan had been here and seen what Arabel was doing, he would have changed his assumptions. Her unfinished business had nothing to do with the Christopher he was thinking of.

Arabel wasn’t stupid. Despite wanting to deal with her ex-fiance, she decided to be careful.

Encountering the mysterious force behind Octavian, which their System avoided, led Arabel to believe that it was highly likely that the same force could be behind Christopher.

She came to such thoughts knowing that Octavian and Christopher were familiar with each other and often communicated.

Arabel didn’t want to take any chances now that her wedding to Idan was only a week away. She decided that she would be able to deal with Octavian and Christopher after the wedding, when their System was fully activated, and she would no longer have to be so afraid of encountering this force.

Over the past two days, Arabel, in addition to preparing for the wedding, has devoted time to practicing the ”Path of Magic.” She managed to ”master” all the abilities of the water element up to the first level.

However, she had some difficulties with the spatial element. Besides [Spatial slice - level 1], she was unable to master anything new.

After the practice, Arabel felt a little tired, but in order to distract herself a little, she decided to pursue her plans to promote the ”Cuisine of the New World” and look for talented chefs.

Leo, who moved to the Kingdom, did not forget about her request and during this time found several more interesting places.

Yesterday, Arabel, following the information Leo had gathered, visited three establishments one after the other. And unfortunately, she didn’t find anything that caught her attention.

”Have you made your choice?” the waitress asked.

”Yes, I’ll have this, this, and this,” Arabel replied, pointing to the menu as she ordered. As soon as the waitress left, she returned to her thoughts.

”The daughter is definitely an awakened one, but judging by her humble demeanor, she is probably a natural awakened one who hides her power.”

”I wonder what kind of System she has?”— this question haunted Arabel.

From her observations, she assumed that the girl probably has an ability related to cooking.

”And if that’s the case, then I need to recruit her,” Arabel decided.

”Edgar doesn’t have a cooking ability, unlike the twins,” Arabel thought. ”As he said himself, his system has nothing to do with cooking.”

Soon, the waitress brought Arabel’s order and carefully placed it in front of her.

The aroma of the dishes filled the air, and their magnificent serving, which Arabel personally observed, could not but cause delight. Picking up the dishes, she began to enjoy the dishes.

As soon as the first bite entered her mouth, waves of taste seemed to envelop all her taste buds.

”How delicious!” she said with her eyes closed, enjoying every moment.

”With the exception of Dan’s cooking and the Host of the Supreme Chef System, I haven’t tried anything like it yet,” Arabel noted, taking another portion and popping it into her mouth.

”Although the cooking skill hasn’t reached Dan’s level yet, it’s still impressive,” she added, appreciating the sophistication of the dishes.

And, feeling her own body heat up slightly, Arabel for some reason remembered Esma. And with it, the events of last night.

Namely, the birth of two more Valkyrie sisters.
