Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 346: Why is Idan teaching a little girl to rob?

“System, you are simply incredible!” said Arabel admiringly, coming to her senses after Erza’s servants read her memories. What they saw were the memories from the ascension trial, slightly modified by the System so as not to contradict the actual events too much.

“Now they will assume that I have the Ice Valkyrie System, which is not much different from what I managed to demonstrate at the portal,” Arabel rejoiced, pleased that Erza and the others did not find out about her second bloodline and Spirit Form.

After reading the memoir, the servants, obeying Erza’s orders, took Arabel to a luxurious room and locked her there, leaving her alone.

Her body was still under the control of that strange creature, and it performed routine actions at Erza’s command. Arabel, on the other hand, was like a passenger watching from the sidelines.

To Arabel’s delight, Erza did not check her things and did not find the ring. She also didn’t take off her Ghost Mask. Arabel, not being naive, suspected that Erza knew about the existence of this mask on her, as well as on Idan.

“Maybe she thinks I’m completely at her mercy, and she doesn’t need to take everything I have from me,” Arabel concluded after a moment’s thought.

Watching her body, obeying the creature’s orders, calmly approach the luxurious large bed, sit down and not move, Arabel felt bored.

“How I want to get at least some useful information!” she thought with disappointment. “Even Idan didn’t expect that I would just be locked up here like some kind of kidnapped princess.”

Remembering old fairy tales from her world, where a handsome prince saves a princess from the clutches of a dragon or other villains, Arabel could not help but dream, slightly correlating the plot of these tales with their current situation.

“System, what is Idan doing right now?” she decided to ask the System, moving away from her dreams a little.

[Host, your partner has been taken to a trading house and trapped deep underground along with other System Hosts. He also started updating your shared spatial storage. It will take half an earth day to complete this process.]

“Oh, so he did it successfully? Was he taken exactly where we wanted him to go?” wondered Arabel, and she was overcome with joy that their plan was progressing smoothly so far.

“No wonder he immediately started improving the storage,” she nodded to herself. They had already discussed the possibility of improving this space if their plan succeeded a bit and they could find the prisoners. “But we didn’t take into account that it would take time. It’s good that everything happened faster, and there was less time to upgrade than there was left before the task was completed.”

Opening her status and looking at the remaining number of System Points, she sighed.

“Is there really only 339 System Points left?”

It seemed like they had recently earned as much as they had after selling Sierra’s blood essence. But unlike in that case, their points were spent much faster.

“Although as our rank increases, the method of obtaining and the number of points increase, but at the same time, the costs also increase…”

While observing her status, Arabel was surprised to find that their remaining System Points had increased to 5,520.

“What happened?” she asked, unable to believe her eyes.

[Host, your partner just sold the unwanted treasure items brought by the little fox].

“Ah, that’s how…” — Arabel nodded, but then, after carefully analyzing the situation, she noticed something strange.

“What treasure? And what does Coco have to do with it?” she asked.

[Host, your partner, based on the information received from the little fox, found out about the existence of a treasure trove from a Diamond—ranked creature, Erza. He assumed that if she had a treasure trove, then other residents of the central part of the city must also have similar hiding places. Taking advantage of the unique ability of your common pet, the little fox, your partner has given the task to start looting these treasures.]

“What the hell?” Arabel thought. The first thought that came to her mind was, “Why is Idan teaching a little girl to rob?”

Arabel imagined Coco, smiling broadly, appearing in the treasury, putting everything in her small backpack and returning to Idan, holding out her paws, demanding a reward in the form of candys.

The more she thought about it, the more convinced she became that the two of them could actually do such a thing. All it takes for Coco to start acting and robbing is just to promise her candy, and the rest is just a matter of time.

Moreover, Coco’s unique ability was perfect for this kind of action.

Thinking of the little fox who loved candy so much, Arabel thought of another little girl who loved blood, Rizzy.

“We should have left her in Limbo under Geminia’s care until we returned,” she only now realized how rash it was to bring her along.

“I hope Idan finds a way to feed the baby unnoticed. I don’t want her to starve because of our mistakes,” Arabel thought hopefully.

Out of curiosity, Arabel decided to look inside the vault using her Soul Force. To her surprise, she found that she could do this without arousing the creature’s suspicions. To pass the time while waiting, she decided to examine the things Coco had brought without taking them out of the storage.

“Ha ha ha!” — Idan laughed inwardly as he watched their System Point increase by more than 5,000 after Coco’s second attempt.

For the first time, the number of their System Points exceeded 10,000.

“And this is not the end!” said Idan, still inspired, despite the fact that he was trapped in a cage underground in an alien world.

Looking at the things that the System considered necessary, Idan suddenly remembered a question that he had long wanted to ask the System.

“System, Arabel can also use the storage from another location, right? So she can look at all these things too, right?”

[Yes, the Host. She is currently studying the things that this System has deemed necessary for the Hosts].

“Oh? Really?” wondered Idan, and his eyes lit up.
