Chapter 322: Would you like to try it now?

”How? Are you leaving?” The girls from the Red Fox Guild were surprised when they heard Idan and Arabel announce their intention to leave this place.

”And whoʼs going to deal with all this?” asked Yara, pointing to the village and the portal.

”Arslan and you,” Arabel replied calmly.

”What? Me?” — Arslan was perplexed by the fact that his own sister and future brother-in-law planned to shift all the responsibility onto him, while they themselves were going to run away.

”What do you mean? We have already done everything that was required of us in this place. We still have other things to complete, so we need to leave,” Idan said bluntly. He wanted to add that if it wasnʼt for Arslanʼs presence, they would hardly have intervened in this case.

Arslan, remembering everything that had happened and how he had almost been captured, fell silent. If it wasnʼt for his sister and future brother-in-law, he probably wouldnʼt be standing here. Dealing with the consequences was the least he could do for them.

Arabel called her younger brother over and exchanged a few words with him before leaving. Idan listened to the girls from the Red Foxes, who, not satisfied with this answer, continued to complain.

”Girls, thank you again for your help not only with the wave of beasts, but also for helping us get to this place. However, I have to go now,” Idan said, skipping most of their complaints.

Before leaving, he thanked the girls again. ”I hope this is not our last meeting. If you need help in the future, please contact this young man or Irene, and they will contact me. If I can handle whatʼs bothering you, I wonʼt give up and Iʼll help.”

Idan, having given the floor to the girls, and after Arabelʼs conversation with Arslan, left the village with Ned. At first they walked, but when they got far enough away, Ned took the form of a Wyvern and, putting Idan and Arabel on his back, soared into the sky. He headed towards Rumbus, slightly changing his route so as not to encounter reinforcements that were due to arrive any minute.

”Belle, Iʼm sorry we had to leave so quickly,” Idan said, hugging her from behind. He understood that Arabel had a lot of questions for her younger brother, and the time they had spent together was not enough.

”Donʼt apologize, Dan. The main thing is that Arslan is fine,” Arabel replied with a smile, feeling very comfortable in his arms. ”Weʼll have plenty of time to chat.”

”Okay,” Idan also felt very comfortable hugging her.

”By the way, I finally did it, Dan. Iʼve completely mastered my bloodline,” Arabel recalled her achievement and decided to share it with him.

”What? Really?” Idan was pleasantly surprised. Then he hugged her even tighter, sharing her joy. Finally, both of them were able to master their first bloodlines, which, although they brought a lot of problems, became their main strength at the moment.

”Do you want to unlock the second bloodline too?” asked Idan.

”Iʼd be lying if I said no. But after thinking about it, I decided to wait and give you the first right,” Arabel replied. ”Besides, you said yourself that it takes about seven days to unlock the second bloodline.”

”Yes, that was the approximate calculation of the System,” Idan confirmed, referring to the information received from the System.

”When youʼre busy with this, what will happen to Rizzy?” Arabel asked, thinking of her little baby.

”Iʼm glad you remembered her,” Idan said with a smile. ”Iʼve already thought about it and started to slowly prepare blood supplies for her.”

Then he paused for a moment, sighed, and continued.:

”But during that time, I didnʼt have time to prepare enough blood. Besides, I do not know if she will drink blood from the bottle. I havenʼt checked it yet.”

”Thatʼs why I decided that while youʼre busy, Iʼll take care of the baby. Fortunately, she likes my blood, and she wonʼt get hungry while youʼre unavailable,” Arabel offered.

”Thank you, Belle, — Idan said. Now, with Arabelʼs consent, he doesnʼt have to worry about the blood needed for Rizzy.

”Donʼt think that since she signed a contract with you, youʼre the only one who has to take care of her. Iʼm going to take care of her too. After all, sheʼs like our adopted daughter,” Arabel said the last words a little softly, slightly embarrassed.

”Good, good, — Idan agreed, delighted by Arabelʼs statement.

”Speaking of your bloodline, did you manage to acquire it?” asked Idan, returning to the topic of the bloodline.

”Belle?” Idan called out, noticing that Arabel was silent.

”I... I do not know, Dan,” Arabel replied with a slight hesitation. ”I havenʼt tried to transform into an Ice Valkyrie yet.”

”Donʼt worry so much, Belle. I am sure that you will succeed, and you will be able to do it,” Idan said, seeing Arabelʼs concern.

Then, taking a look at the nocturnal northern beauty, where snow was slowly falling, covering the vast expanses, he suggested:

”Would you like to try it now? In my opinion, this area is perfect for you and your bloodline,” Idan said.

”No, Dan. Weʼd better not try it here,” Arabel objected. ”You know what happened when you awakened your spirit form. I donʼt want to attract unnecessary stares right after what happened recently.”

Remembering the fire field and the chaos he caused after gaining control of his bloodline and assuming the form of a Flame Spirit, Idan nodded inwardly, agreeing with Arabelʼs concerns.

He wasnʼt sure what exactly caused that fire field: gaining control of his bloodline and the explosion of Madness Energy, or the appearance of a new form of Flame Spirit. Perhaps both factors played a role.

”Do you remember how surprised the Master and the others were when they found out that you had taken on the form of a Spirit?” Arabel asked Idan.

”Of course I remember,” Idan replied. He remembered Milisa and Sierraʼs looks well.

”I want to try to do this after returning to Limbo, in the presence of the master and the others,” Arabel said with a slight hint of mischief. ”If I succeed, I want to see their reaction.”

”Do you know that you look like a villainess?” asked Idan, almost laughing. ”Itʼs one thing to say that youʼve achieved something, but itʼs quite another to do it right in front of their eyes.”

”Haha, thatʼs the whole point, Dan,” Arabel continued, laughing a little at Idanʼs words. ”Donʼt get me wrong, I donʼt want to tease them. I want to do this and show that they didnʼt make a mistake by trusting us.”

Besides, Arabel hoped that Milica and Sierra would be able to understand something after seeing it with their own eyes. But this is only if Arabel succeeds and is able to carry out her plans.

”Good, — Idan agreed with Arabel, and now he was looking forward to returning to Limbo to see if she could succeed.

Deep down, he believed that Arabel would succeed and be able to catch up with his progress, matching him.
