Supreme Husband System! & Supreme Wife System!

Chapter 340: Accept the invitation

“It hasn’t even been ten minutes since we arrived, and Erza has already noticed us!” exclaimed Idan excitedly, addressing Arabel through a mental link.

“System! How is this possible? Do you have any suggestions?”— in this serious situation, Idan did not waste time thinking and immediately turned to a System that had deeper knowledge and could discover what was inaccessible to Idan.

[Host, this System has not detected any tracking devices, spells, or other similar devices on the Hosts.]

This response from the System did not calm Arabel’s or Idan’s worries.

“But somehow she noticed us!” insisted Arabel.

[Although this System has not detected anything suspicious, it has some assumptions. Perhaps the Hosts have been spotted by another creature that has a blood connection to the one with whom the Host has entered into a symbiotic relationship.]

“What?” exclaimed Arabel.

[In other words, there is a high probability that the appearance and location of this creature was recorded, and not the Hosts themselves.]

System came to this conclusion.

Idan and Arabel were very tense, but they tried not to show it outwardly. They just frowned at the woman who introduced herself as Essora.

Essora looked like a puppet. After her arrival, bowing and saying the words, she did not move.

“What will be your answer?” asked Essora, after waiting a while.

“Dan, what should we do?” Arabel asked Idan through the mental link, starting to panic a little.

“System, tell me, can the other party manipulate Arabel through this creature?” Idan became worried. He suggested that if the other party was able to detect the presence of another creature, then perhaps she also has control over this creature, which has already established a connection with Arabel.

[If the assumptions of this System are correct, then this probability is high.]

Upon hearing this answer, Arabel broke out in sweat and could no longer hide her concern.

[But, Host, you don’t have to worry. This System would not allow you to establish contact with a potentially dangerous creature. The system has already considered all possible scenarios. If the other party tries to influence you, this System will find out about it and take action.]

“Damn it! System, could you say that right away?” Arabel complained. She was already beginning to regret agreeing to the System’s suggestion to establish a connection with this creature, and she thought she had made a mistake. But the System was quick to assure her that there was no danger.

“It’s definitely a trap!” Now that Arabel had additional information and the system’s assumption, she was sure that this invitation was most likely a trap.

“I agree,” Idan also shared her opinion. He looked at the waiting woman in front of him and said, “But we can’t just give up. If Erza is really up to something, she won’t let us go so easily.”

“What should we do?” Arabel asked anxiously.

“Accept the invitation,” Idan replied, already thinking about how to get out of this situation.

“What?” asked Arabel.

“Belle, we don’t know yet what Erza wants from us. It’s just the System’s assumption that it discovered us because of this creature,” Idan said with complete seriousness. “Moreover, she knows who we are and why we came to this world. Even if we manage to escape, she will still be aware of our plans.”

Due to the sudden appearance of this woman and the realization that they had already been discovered, Arabel had already forgotten in her excitement why they had come to this world.

“If we want to complete the System’s task, we need to avoid attracting attention for as long as possible. At the moment, only Erza knows about our arrival. If we make a noise, we will attract the attention of others, and perhaps Erza will no longer hide our presence from others. There are too many factors working against us right now. So it’s better to play along with her for now and see what she wants from us.”

After listening to Idan’s explanation, Arabel sighed, decided to trust him and said in a cold tone:

“Okay, we agree.”

Upon hearing Arabel’s reply, the woman looked up and frowned, then glanced at Idan.

“That’s how it is…” — Idan noted in his mind as he watched Essora’s reaction.

“Is something wrong?” asked Arabel.

“Not yet, go ahead,” Idan replied to her.

“The Mistress asked me to give you this if you agree,” with these words, a round thing resembling a collar appeared on Essora’s hands.

Arabel asked without thinking, and Essora, who was holding out a collar—like object, stopped and stared at her.

“The Mistress said that you will be with your toy,” Essora said, handing her the collar again. “The Mistress also said that you value your toy very much and always carry it next to you without wearing a slave collar. However, in this city, a slave without a master can easily be abducted, so the Mistress asked me to give you a dummy collar so that you can put it on your toy and thereby make it clear that it belongs to you.”

“Ha ha ha, — Idan laughed inwardly, outwardly showing no reaction at all. “So I’m just a toy boy in her eyes?”

Arabel didn’t like the way the woman called Idan, and her mood began to deteriorate.

“Belle, pull yourself together!” said Idan, noticing Arabel’s change of mood. He immediately realized what was going on and hurried to reassure her. “Don’t take her words to heart.”

Even without Idan’s words, Arabel could still control herself in such a situation, so she quickly calmed down and picked up the collar and began to study it carefully. She used her “Eye Identification” ability to better understand what kind of item it was.

**Identification:**

Name: Fake slave collar (Slave collar)

Rarity: Rare

Quality: Platinum

Random information: Disguised as a fake and temporarily disabled real slave collar.

Seeing the information in front of her, Arabel closed her eyes and sighed heavily, trying to calm down. For a moment, she almost lost control of herself.

Idan, pleased with Arabel’s progress and how she was able to restrain herself, nodded.

“Who would have thought that this was a real slave collar, and not a fake one?” said Idan, and his eyes shone, and he laughed inwardly.
