CEO's Reborn Wife

”!!!” After recovering from two slaps, Jane Sampson was utterly embarrassed and angry. She tried to move aside with both hands and feet, wanting to avoid James Black.

But James was even fiercer than she thought, pressing her waist with one hand, making her like a fish on a sticky board, ready to be cut.

”Slap.”

The third slap was louder and heavier than the previous two.

”Still daring to dodge, it seems you don’t know your mistake.” James looked at Jane, who was puffing her cheeks like a pufferfish, glaring at him, and raised his hand for another slap, ”Do you know where you’re wrong?”

”James Black, you bastard!” Jane kicked around wildly, wishing she could kick James’s face, ”You’re ungrateful! Use me up and then turn your back! Just now you were kissing so passionately! And now you’re turning against me!”

Is she so old and still getting spanked?

Is she shameless?

”Kissing is one thing, scolding is another. If you make a mistake, you should be taught a lesson.”

Although Jane’s sudden return surprised and moved James, after those emotions passed, all that was left was worry, and fear afterwards.

”Did you ever think that as a girl, if you are alone at the airport in the middle of the night, waiting alone, someone gets off a plane, and you take a taxi to the guard team station, what if something happens? What if you meet someone with bad intentions, what would you do?”

Seeing Jane had no sense of her mistake, James felt a bit angry, ”Jane, if something happened to you, what would I do?”

”You’re scolding me again~” Jane looked at James with grievance, pouting, ”But I couldn’t control the urge to come back to hold you. See, I came back safely, didn’t I? I swear, there won’t be a next time.”

After saying this, Jane pitifully hooked her finger on James’s, ”I have a flight ticket at 2:30 in the afternoon. After lunch at noon, I’ll head to the airport. See, it’s almost dawn, I’m so sleepy~ Calm down first, and wait for me to return next time, then you can continue scolding me? Then, I won’t talk back.”

Those beautiful eyes blinked, looking at James with extreme grievance.

It made James’s heart soften.

Jane knew that her pitiful act always worked on James.

Sure enough, a few seconds later, James suddenly sighed, then reached out to pull her up, rubbing her head.

”I shouldn’t have worried you.” James’s lips lightly touched Jane’s forehead, ”Seeing you come back, I thought it was a dream. After happiness, I pondered, and was left with those hypothetical scenarios.”

If it weren’t for him making her worried first, Jane wouldn’t have so recklessly come back to accompany him.

James thought.

In his lifetime, it was only this once that someone worried for him so much.

And that person was none other than his Jane Sampson.

She did things he never expected she would do for him.

Things he never imagined.

She became the miracle in his life at that moment.

A miracle that descended from the sky, awakening him from his nightmares.

”Jane Sampson, silly girl.” James marveled at her silliness.

He was amazed at how much she valued him in her heart.

She loved him.

James thought, Jane truly loved him.

”Silly wife.” James scolded with a smile, ”My silly girl, Jane Sampson.”

”You’re the silly one, I’m not.” Jane retorted with relish.

Saying she was a party pooper couldn’t be more appropriate.
