Transmigrated as a Villain, Now I'm a Yandere Loli

Chapter 196: Chapter 196: Alive, But Not Completely Alive

Late at night, the quiet Hospital was only staffed by a few night shift nurses.

A 1.9-meter tall man walked in from outside the door and headed straight for the 5th floor.

”Young Master Shin, you’re still coming so late?”

”Yes, I’m here to see Haruko. Where is she?”

”Miss Chi... I’ll take you there. It’s such a shame that something like this happened to such a beautiful and lovely child, sigh...”

Following the little nurse, Shin also arrived in front of Haruko.

It had been three days. This was the first time he had come to see this sickly girl since the incident involving Haruko.

Shin entered the ward, turned on a small light, closed the door behind him, looked at the beautiful face like a sleeping beauty, and sighed, ”Haruko, Haruko, why did you have to do this? First, you tried to end your life, and now this accident happened.”

”For you, I got the words ’Never love Tao’ tattooed on my back. Considering your plan, I’ve also been guiding Ichiko to be your wingman.”

”I was even thinking of waiting for his War God Father to return, you and Ichiko would get married, and I’d be your best man. Then, leveraging his father’s influence, I could borrow power to return to the Si family...”

”Sigh!”

Shin pulled up a chair and sat down, clenching his fist and hitting his thigh.

It was because of this matter with Sento that his path to revenge, which should have been an easy win, became difficult again.

After a long silence, Shin suddenly noticed that besides the electrocardiogram monitoring, Haruko had many other things attached to her body, both large and small.

She even had an IV drip, as if supplying nutrients to her body.

In an instant, Shin stood up, realizing something was wrong.

”If she’s really dead, shouldn’t they be considering preserving the body? Why are they trying to save her?”

Although he didn’t understand medicine, he had seen the world. The instruments and drugs being used were undoubtedly world-class!

”Something is very wrong!”

It was no exaggeration to say that Shin was the person who knew Haruko best and was most aware of her yandere side.

There was only one possibility for this situation.

”Haruko is faking her death!”

As soon as this thought emerged, Shin’s mind cleared.

Just like the last time she tried to end her life, everything was to manipulate Ichiko!

If this was all part of the plan, it would also explain why, even though she was supposedly dead, they were still using such expensive equipment to keep her alive. Maybe...

”Maybe this electrocardiogram machine is also fake.”

Shin looked at the straight line on the electrocardiogram, his eyes flashing with seriousness.

He took a deep breath, confirmed there were no cameras here, locked the doors and windows, and said in a low voice to Haruko, ”Haruko, you don’t need to pretend anymore. I know you’re faking your death. It’s just us here. We can discuss what happens next.”

After he finished speaking, Haruko still didn’t react.

Shin frowned, ”There’s no need for this. Do you not even trust me?”

That’s strange.

Could his guess be wrong?

Shin pondered for ten seconds, his eyes suddenly becoming resolute. He lowered his voice, ”Haruko, it would be such a shame if you really left like this. To be honest, I’ve actually always secretly liked Ichiko.”

”After you’re gone, she won’t have anyone else she likes.”

”And I will have to reluctantly take care of Ichiko for you.”

Shin sighed, ”If we get married someday, I’ll come to your grave and burn some... What... What the?!”

Shin hadn’t finished speaking when he was so scared he took two steps back.

He saw that the electrocardiogram, which had been a straight line, suddenly jumped twice, showing a tiny ripple!

And Haruko, who had been lying peacefully on the bed, extended her little hand from under the covers, and her index finger twitched for a moment.

Looking back at her beautiful face, she still looked peacefully asleep.

It was as if everything was an illusion.

But Shin didn’t think so. He had clearly seen Haruko move just that little bit!

Password correct, startup successful.

Even without consciousness, the System’s voice rang out in Haruko’s mind.

[Detected that Host has died...]

[Substitute Scarecrow used successfully...]

[Current status: Fake death]

[The ”Orange (Orange) Cell” derived from the scarecrow is repairing the body...]

[Remaining repair time: 46 days]

[Detected that Host has a strong urge to awaken]

[Consciousness is being awakened in advance...]

[Host, welcome back]

The person on the Hospital bed still didn’t move. Shin had taken off his shirt at some point, and despite the cold weather, he still had the words ”Never love Tao” exposed.

What he didn’t know was that the person on the Hospital bed had indeed entered a state of ”death” and would not wake up until the body repair time was over.

At the same time, in Haruko’s room, in a small drawer, a small scarecrow cloth doll’s eyes suddenly glowed red.

”System, where is Shin?”

The scarecrow opened its mouth and surprisingly made a clear and cute sound.

It was clearly a cloth doll with a hole in its chest that looked somewhat cute, but its eyes were now glowing crimson, looking somewhat eerie in the dark, confined drawer!

The System quickly spoke.

[Host, calm down. You are currently dead!]

And the body was not the original body at all.

Haruko walked two steps, felt awkward, and then realized that she had turned into a cloth doll in the form of a scarecrow!

”Kai, what’s going on? Explain?”

Her memory only stopped at the few minutes when she was hit by the sniper rifle.

After the pain spread throughout her body, Haruko really felt like she was going to die.

When her mind went blank, she even forgot that she had the substitute scarecrow. She used all her strength to tell Ichiko what she felt inside, what she hoped for.

And then...

She woke up now.

[Host, after confirming death, you entered a state of fake death. After the scarecrow substituted, the Orange (Orange) Cell added to your body will slowly repair your body. According to the plan, although you can vaguely perceive the outside world in a state of fake death]

[You should only wake up after your body is fully repaired, but Shin triggered your strong desire to awaken]

[That body was severely injured and could not bear your consciousness and awaken]

[So I transferred your consciousness to this substitute scarecrow]

She was alive, but not completely alive.

Haruko roughly understood that she was alive thanks to the System’s power, and the strange cells in her body were some kind of medical miracle.

But in this supernatural state as a cloth doll, wouldn’t people be scared to death if they saw her?

More importantly, a small cloth doll obviously couldn’t do anything.

”No...”

Haruko suddenly remembered that she wasn’t completely unable to do anything.

She slowly looked at her skill panel.

[Disguise (Intermediate)]

[Can disguise and impersonate others. Appearance, height, bones, etc., can be freely changed, but cannot violate basic human settings. Limited to females. Can be used once a week. Disguise duration: 3 hours]
