Transmigrated as a Villain, Now I'm a Yandere Loli

Chapter 187: Chapter 187: This Time, I Can’t Listen to You

Glass shards danced in the air, blood bloomed like flowers, and everything around seemed to slow down in Ichiko’s eyes.

The glass fell to the floor, making a harsh ”ping-pong” sound. The gunshot seemed to still echo in the air, and screams were already coming from all parts of the apartment building.

A large hole was shot through the glass door, with the round hole in the middle as the center, and the surrounding area cracked like a spider web.

Splashing debris grazed Ichiko’s cheek, leaving a bloody mark, but she felt no pain. Her pupils, contracted due to intense emotional fluctuations, flickered with terror and disbelief.

”Hey... Haruko... this is fake, right? Are... are you okay?”

She said this tremblingly. In the moment her brain crashed, she didn’t even hold Haruko and retreat further into the living room.

She was just forced to sit on the ground because Haruko pounced on her, her hands propped on the floor, her knees supporting Haruko’s waist.

She reached out to hug Haruko, but her trembling hand didn’t dare to rest on her shoulder.

What’s happening now?

What exactly happened?

Why are there guns? Is this an assassination or something else?

I should have been the one shot, right? Why did Haruko push me away?

What should I do now?

And Haruko... why aren’t you speaking?

Haruko’s shoulder trembled slightly. Ichiko suddenly snapped back to her senses and firmly grabbed her shoulder.

With a trace of relief from escaping death on her face, she helped Haruko, who was lying on her, up. ”Haruko, are you okay!”

But after taking a bullet for her, how could she be okay?

As she helped Haruko half-up, Ichiko felt her clothes were soaked in a large area. A blurry bullet hole, she didn’t know if it was on her chest or slightly above, was like a broken faucet, with blood continuously gushing out.

The relief of surviving turned into unspeakable stupor and fear. She quickly reached out and pressed her hand against the wound.

But orange juice kept overflowing from the edge of her palm and between her fingers.

”Haruko... Haruko, hang in there! I... I’ll find Inari right away! I’ll tell him to call a Doctor over!”

Ichiko’s hair was messy. She frantically searched for her phone, but couldn’t find it after checking all her pockets.

Downstairs in the building, the voice of the elderly Security Guard was already echoing throughout the complex, calming the residents while telling everyone to hide where they couldn’t be seen from the windows and not to go out easily.

The regular Security forces of the complex had already arrived at Haruko’s door, continuously pressing the doorbell forcefully. While waiting for the property management to bring the spare door card, they were shouting something loudly from outside.

But Ichiko had no mind to pay attention to the doorbell. With one hand covering the wound and the other gently stroking Haruko’s face, she supported her with her body, continuously murmuring the words ”hang in there”.

A small hand suddenly gripped Ichiko’s wrist forcefully. Haruko opened her eyes with great difficulty.

Her face rapidly became gaunt and pale, life draining away extremely quickly.

But even so, Haruko forced a smile.

”Ichiko~”

She affectionately called out the name that filled her heart. As she withered, there was no trace of her yandere tendencies left, and the argument just now seemed to have no effect on her.

It was just that her voice was weak. Ichiko almost had to lean close to hear such a faint sound.

Ichiko tightly held Haruko’s small hand, and tears streamed down. ”Haruko, don’t talk. Hang in there, don’t fall asleep. The Doctor will be here soon, and this time, they’ll definitely be able to save you too.”

”Ichiko...”

Another call. Haruko wanted to lean forcefully towards Ichiko’s ear, but found that she didn’t even have the strength to get up. Speaking and breathing both became very difficult.

Ah~ It hurts so much, it hurts so much, it hurts so much, it hurts so much...

Even with the pain reduction skill, she still felt so much pain.

But... it doesn’t feel bad at all.

Being held like this, it’s warm and cozy, completely different from the coldness she felt in the bathtub last time.

Haruko raised a smile with difficulty. ”Ichiko, you... listen to me.”

As if to leave her last words, she grew weaker and weaker.

However, Ichiko kept shaking her head with tears flowing. ”Don’t talk! I won’t listen! Save whatever you want to say for when you’ve recovered. You can say as much as you want then!”

”You’re really making things difficult~”

Haruko smiled softly and suddenly coughed dryly.

She could feel her body gradually turning cold.

If she didn’t say what she wanted to say, she might never have the chance again.

Haruko held onto her last breath, reaching out tremblingly to wipe Ichiko’s tears. ”Ichiko... I never blamed you... for putting pressure on you or anything, I’m sorry...”

”Stop talking! Don’t talk anymore!”

”If I don’t say it... I’m afraid I won’t have another chance... I...”

”No... no!” Ichiko tightly gripped Haruko’s hand and shook her head forcefully.

She didn’t want to listen, she didn’t want to hear anything!

Last words.

Goodbyes.

Future plans and things she wanted to explain.

None of that is allowed! Whatever you want to say, say it after you’ve recovered! I want you to say it when you’re standing in front of me!

With a ”drip” sound, the outer door opened. The Security Guards from the complex quickly walked in. The one in the lead was shouting loudly, ”Residents of 502, are you okay!”

The Security Captain scanned the area and saw Ichiko and Haruko, who were blocked by the counter. He walked towards them happily, saying at the same time, ”That’s great, it seems you’re okay, I...”

”Shut up!”

Ichiko raised her head and roared at the Security Captain.

Tears flowed down her chin. Under her extremely messy bangs, a pair of eyes were bloodshot, and even the flowing tears were mixed with faint red lines.

The Security Captain was stunned for a moment. As he got closer, he realized that Haruko, who had just been blocked by the cabinet, was now lying in the girl’s arms.

The blanket underfoot was stained red, like a blooming red rose.

He was silent for a moment, then nodded to the other Security Guards, signaling them to secure the other rooms and locations here.

He picked up his phone and walked towards the door.

Meanwhile, Ichiko had already lowered her head again. Seeing the vitality in Haruko’s eyes gradually diminish, her heart ached intensely.

She wanted to do something.

But found that she couldn’t do anything right now.

Haruko repeated her earlier words once more. ”Ichiko, you... listen to me.”

”I won’t listen! If you say it again, I won’t want you anymore!”

Ichiko was still shaking her head, refusing, wanting to snatch her Haruko back from the hands of death.

Normally, as long as she said this, Haruko would quiet down and be obedient.

But this time, she had a reason she had to speak.

She pursed her lips into a shallow, cute smile. ”That’s really too much, but I’m sorry, just this once... I can’t listen to you.”
