Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Chapter 262: Chapter 135: Dark Clouds Obscure the Moon_3

So it turns out to be the Heart Method manifestation.

It looks terrifying.

While other Grandmasters are battling, there seem to be faint patterns beside them, appearing and disappearing, flickering slightly.

The first time Su Yue saw Li Xingpei slaying Bai Mei, he noticed a massive sword flashing above her head.

So, this is the Heart Method manifestation.

Terrifying.

Unfortunately, it can only appear once one becomes a Grandmaster.

”Go ahead, place your palm on the stone slab, and then fully activate the power of your entire Qi Blood, immersing yourself as much as possible in the Spiritual Qi within the slab.

”This is your first time cultivating, so you can enjoy the treatment of a Grandmaster; an image manifestation will appear behind you, but it will be the only time.

”At its peak, the Moon Nether True Scripture can theoretically open all your Qi points.

”But now that it’s split into three, it’s only about 30 or so Qi points. But you also need to be cautious, if your aptitude is poor and your endurance insufficient, the stone slab might open only 25 Qi points, or even 22, sometimes even just 20.

”The number of Qi points will directly impact your future Qi ring cultivation.”

Black Chess Piece reminded again.

”Yes, junior understands.”

Su Yue nodded solemnly.

Bai Xiaolong had already explained it to him earlier.

There are a total of 100 Qi points within a Martial Artist’s body.

Qi points are different from acupuncture points in traditional Chinese medicine; opening Qi points can speed up Spiritual Qi absorption.

Qi points are a concept summarized by the Martial Arts Realm, and there are 100 in total.

The most basic Heart Method can open five or six Qi points.

Such Heart Methods are often used on the battlefield, for those who didn’t get into Wuda but break through to Martial Artists as engineers in wet realms, relying on sheer willpower.

Stronger ones are mostly suited for B Wuda.

These Heart Methods can open around ten Qi points.

In A-grade Wuda, the general Heart Method usually opens 15 or 16, but there are also Heart Methods for 18 Qi points.

And in the four major Martial Arts Academies and Warring States Military Academy, their Heart Method usually starts at 20 Qi points.

A Heart Method that can open 30 Qi points is already considered outstanding.

Some top prodigies can even cultivate Heart Methods that may backfire, finally reaching nearly 40 Qi points.

Throughout the Divine Land, Martial Artists who can open more than 50 Qi points are as rare as phoenix feathers and unicorn horns.

Unlike exam scores.

Although theoretically, there are 100 Qi points, being able to open 30 already renders someone an elite in Wuda.

Only extremely talented prodigies might, by chance, open 50 Qi points.

Martial Artists capable of opening 60 Qi points are extremely rare and might be among the strong of the Divine Cabinet.

The stone slab at West Martial, at its limit, can open 40 Qi points.

Su Yue thought about it, estimating it was because it hadn’t been eroded by demonic energy, so West Martial’s slab could open 40 points.

While the slab at the elderly home could only open 30 Qi points.

The remaining third snatched by the Yangxiang Race might also be 30 Qi points.

It’s said that the Moon Nether True Scripture is the strongest in Divine Land, the best in the world, because it can open all Qi points to a grand slam.

At other Wuda, breaking through 40 Qi points would require using relatively dangerous Heart Methods to attack the points.

This danger is akin to a baby lifting weights, ending up with the ”going mad” syndrome seen in martial arts films.

The Moon Nether True Scripture at West Martial is somewhat safer.

But, as per Bai Xiaolong, theoretically, West Martial’s stone slab could open 40 Qi points, but most students hover around 30.

Back then, Bai Xiaolong opened 33 Qi points, setting a record.

Until Mu Cheng emerged, breaking Bai Xiaolong’s record with a terrifying 36 Qi points.

Cultivating a Heart Method is closely tied to a Martial Artist’s talent.

If a B grade student came to Fuling Mountain, even if they encountered the Moon Nether True Scripture slab, they could open around 10 Qi points, wasting the Spiritual Qi inside the slab.

And given their talent, it could result in some aftereffects.

Such is the limitation of talent, unchangeable.

Therefore, Martial Artists must choose Heart Methods based on their actual situation. Recklessness means ending up going mad.

Bai Xiaolong’s nemesis allegedly almost went mad challenging the East Martial Heart Method, but after enduring, he opened 34 Qi points, slightly surpassing Bai Xiaolong, giving him the confidence to frequently challenge him.

In conclusion.

Choosing the right Heart Method is crucial, being overly ambitious can easily lead to physical ailments.

Opening 40 Qi points is enough to be called a prodigy.

Perhaps in future training, the wet realms have some heavenly treasures to further open Qi points, but they don’t align perfectly with the Heart Method, yielding lesser results than in the initial state.

Maximizing Qi points at a low stage provides endless benefits later.

”Oh, by the way, elder, does adding the stone slab from the wet realm allow the Moon Nether True Scripture to open all 100 Qi points?”

Su Yue suddenly turned to ask.

Though the slab in the Yangxiang Race’s hands seems impossible to retrieve in this lifetime, understanding a bit was good.

”You’re mistaken, even a complete stone slab could only open 90 Qi points; where is perfection found in this world?

”The slab taken by the Yangxiang Race can at most open 20 Qi points, that’s why Earth Martial Artists don’t fear it.”

Black Chess Piece explained.

So that’s how it is.

Su Yue suddenly realized.

Wuda’s stone slab can open a maximum of 40 Qi points.

Qi points at the elderly home’s slab.

While the slab with the Yangxiang Race is limited to just 20 Qi points.

In that light, the slab lost to the Yangxiang Race is indeed just an ordinary Heart Method.
