Martial Arts: I Have Diligence Reward System

Chapter 248: Chapter 132: The Warm and Cold Sides of Human Relationships_2

”The difficult part is still about military honors.

”To purchase a single dormitory, you must have three medals awarded by the Military Department, and medals from local cities don’t count.

”Military medals require fighting in the wetland, and establishing merits. I almost lost my life several times.”

Recalling the past, Bai Xiaolong sighed.

”Keep it up, kid... I know you have a military medal. I know about Xu Baiyan and the others at the first battlefield, you were there that time too.

”Strive to get two more medals as soon as possible.”

Bai Xiaolong patted Su Yue on the shoulder, as a gesture of encouragement to the young man.

”Alright, I will try my best.”

Su Yue nodded, without saying much.

The Yangxiang Sect attacked the shopping center in Cengyan City, and the Military Department awarded a medal.

At the first battlefield, along with Xu Baiyan and the others, there was a medal.

With the medal from the fifth battlefield, it’s more than enough.

Sure enough, at the necessary time, medals have a miraculous effect.

”Besides single dormitories, wealthy families generally rent double dormitories. Although they are close to single dormitories, they don’t get any spiritual qi, only able to envy others.

”If you like peace and quiet, renting a double dormitory, spending a bit for tranquility, isn’t a bad choice.”

Bai Xiaolong mentioned again.

”Can one person rent a double dormitory, by paying double?”

Su Yue thought for a moment.

”Wishful thinking, double dormitories are the most sought after, and West Martial simply doesn’t allow it.”

Bai Xiaolong said.

”Tomorrow, you choose your dormitory, the day after, you can visit the library. There are some Heart Method warfare techniques you can look at. Although you’re not allowed to cultivate them yet, it’s good to learn about them.”

Bai Xiaolong advised again.

”Yeah, I know.”

Su Yue nodded.

Heart Method warfare techniques.

These are the techniques that will accompany a Martial Artist for a long time, mainly used to activate energy rings.

Whether it’s fundamental swordsmanship, stepping techniques, or the Fengyu Mad Sword, these are tactical battle methods, using Qi Blood.

Whereas Heart Method warfare techniques help activate energy rings and cultivate Qi Blood.

Heart Method warfare techniques are extremely precious and require specialized instruments to open up the body’s acupoints, usually not something that can be privately taught.

Only families with a powerful Grandmaster have hereditary Heart Method warfare techniques.

Ordinary Martial Artists can only learn them at Wuda, and of course, it isn’t free; it requires some academic credits.

”In a week, West Martial will host the freshmen conference. The school should conduct an assessment tournament. Any Martial Artist with a golden bone or above the first grade can participate, and the top nine students can go to Fuling Mountain to cultivate the Moon Nether True Scripture.

”You came all the way from the seven provinces in the north to West Martial, I suppose for the Moon Nether True Scripture, right!”

Bai Xiaolong laughed.

”Uh, I don’t know, my parents made me come.”

Su Yue shook his head.

He truly didn’t know, but several people had mentioned the Moon Nether True Scripture, so it must be a pretty powerful warfare technique.

”Legend has it, the Moon Nether True Scripture came from the wetland, the strongest Heart Method warfare technique. Unfortunately, over 100 years ago, half of it was stolen by the Yangxiang Race. There’s also insider information saying that West Martial’s Moon Nether True Scripture is actually only a third left, barely stronger than regular Heart Methods.

”A third is at West Martial, a third is with the Yangxiang Race, and the other third is whereabouts unknown.

”Back then, I also cultivated the Moon Nether True Scripture at Fuling Mountain, but... as the rumors said, although it was stronger than regular warfare methods, it wasn’t that much stronger. The East Emperor Technique of East Martial is already stronger than the Moon Nether True Scripture.”

Bai Xiaolong explained.

”Why was the Moon Nether True Scripture able to be robbed by the Yangxiang Sect?”

Yet again this troublemaking organization, thinking about it made Su Yue furious.

”Heart Method warfare techniques cannot be taught verbally, nor can they be mastered by reading books.

”Heart Methods require opening up the acupoints and using spiritual qi to pass through, accelerating the activation of energy rings.

”All the Martial Universities have developed instruments to open acupoints, but initially, the Moon Nether True Scripture was just a piece of mythic stone slab. Martial Artists stood on the slab, and the spiritual qi emanating from it would directly open the acupoints.

”West Martial’s stone slab, only a third remains, so only a third of the acupoints can be opened.”

Bai Xiaolong said.

”Why only allow nine people to cultivate it? Aren’t other students who came to West Martial at a loss?”

Su Yue asked curiously.

”It’s not really a loss; besides the Moon Nether True Scripture, West Martial also has the West Lang Technique, which was created by a Ninth Grade Grandmaster principal of West Martial, not any weaker than a third of the Moon Nether True Scripture.

”As for why only nine people can cultivate, there are two reasons.

”First, the Moon Nether True Scripture’s stone slab might lose its spiritual power, and opening acupoints requires the slab’s spiritual energy. If it loses its power, this legendary most powerful Heart Method would become history. So, restricting the Martial Artists for opening acupoints prolongs its life by a year.

”Secondly, actually, ten students can ascend Fuling Mountain. Nine of them need to win in the tournament, and one spot is reserved for the highest scorer of the college entrance exam to directly go up the mountain.”

Bai Xiaolong looked at Su Yue.

”Wow... so there’s this kind of privilege, pretty good, pretty good.”

Su Yue nodded in satisfaction.

He really liked this kind of special treatment that disregarded fairness.

”Pretty good my foot, it’s a trap.

”You need to understand, the Moon Nether True Scripture is a Heart Method of the Divine Land, only donated to West Martial by its original owner. In theory, besides West Martial students, one spot should be reserved for other schools each year.

”But obviously, West Martial’s leadership is unwilling to let good things go to outsiders.
